I highly recommend Pets Eternal Rest. Dr. Cheryl Ramos is so wonderful, caring and tender. I recently had to euthanize my Jojo at 16 years of age. Cheryl came to my home and the entire session was very peaceful for my baby and for me. I cannot say enough wonderful words about Cheryl.

Very professional in the way they handled the process. I had mad comparisons before calling them and they were the cheapest of all that I had called

    Maia on her last day.

In January of 2021 we knew the time had come to say goodbye to our dear cat Maia. She was nearly 20 years old and we had adopted her as a six month old kitten. Dr. Cheryl was kind and compassionate when she came to our home on that last day. She helped all of us see Maia off quietly as I held her. We can't thank her enough for that experience.

What a lovely way to help your beloved pet move on. Our hank was 14 years old and showing some definite signs of decline. We made the decision that his quality of life was nearing its end, but wanted him to have a gentle exit. Since getting in and out of the car had become tough for Hank. we decided to have Cheryl at Pets eternal rest come out to our place to help us say goodbye. Although having Cheryl come out to your house to put your animal to sleep, is it a decent amount more money than a traditional vet's office, it is 100% worth the additional cost. Not only were we allowed to say goodbye to him in a very calming way in his own bed, but our other dogs were allowed to be around and say goodbye as well. It felt like this made, their transition to a life without Hank less confusing. If you're looking very peaceful way to say goodbye to your baby, I would highly recommend taking this route.

Today I said goodbye to my beautiful dog Molly. Dr Ramos helped make the unbearable, bearable. Her compassion from the first phone call until today was so helpful. I highly recommend her when the heartbreaking decision needs to be made.

This last Wednesday morning Laurie and I oversaw the passing of our beloved Border Collie, George. Cheryl helped us through the process in a manner that was not only professional, but comfortable and kind-hearted... as I see noted by others. I can confirm this. Putting down a furry friend is very stressful, of course. George was about 15 and fast deteriorating with kidney disease. Laurie and I agonized over the decision but decided to let George go while he was mid-way thru decline rather than to allow him to suffer for months on end... or God Knows How Long. In any case, here is a picture of Georgy-Porgy when he was a happy maniac. Look at that snootch! We loved him very much. Thank you, Cheryl, for your help with this. It matters.

Sadly, we lost our 14.5 y/o Rudy shortly after Thanksgiving this year. This loss was especially painful, as he was the second of our senior pups to pass within the past 2 years. I had heard about Dr. Ramos after our first loss, and was so glad that we contacted her. It's so much easier to say goodbye in a place where your pet is comfortable and not afraid, and she was absolutely the best - very communicative and understanding. I don't think saying goodbye can ever be easy, but we did feel that Rudy passed comfortably and without fear, and she was so gentle and professional from the start to the moment she took him away. I really feel that she made this whole ordeal so much easier. As a side note, for those who may have financial concerns, I can say that the cost was less than going to the veterinary hospital.

Arriving at the decision to euthanize your pet is very difficult however, being able to partner with a professional like Dr. Ramos can make this challenging process as smooth as possible. I've personally worked with and vetted more than a dozen options in this field and Dr. Ramos and her team stand head and shoulders above the rest. I truly believe we all have a calling and Dr. Ramos is fulfilling this calling and we (and most importantly our pets) are better because of it. Thank you Dr. Ramos for delivering the best possible experience for Cookie.

Bonnie was diagnosed with cancer and on hospice. her transition over the rainbow bridge was so peaceful.

I had to make the difficult decision to have Bonnie, my 15 y/o aussie transition across the rainbow bridge. Dr. Cheryl Ramos was so compassionate, understanding and walked us through what to expect at every stage. Bonnie transitioned while at home where she was comfortable and I think that's was a key part in her transition being so peaceful. Bonnie was curious as to why Dr Ramos was there. Dr Ramos was so focused on the event being about Bonnie and Bonnie's comfort. It was everything I could have asked for. Thank you Dr Ramos for your compassion and professionalism with such emotional events.

It was already a stressful situation as it was. Thankfully, Pets.RIP was available at any hour of the day, so I made a call to Kwasi who answered my call and answered all my questions that I had. Kwasi is definitely a gem of a person; he is very compassionate, and being a pet owner himself, he understands the stresses that a passing of a beloved pet can have on its owner and family. There was no rush on when he could pick up; he told us to take as much time as we needed and to call him when we were ready for her to be picked up. After he picked her up to have a private cremation done, we kept in contact with him and he provided updates on when her urn would be ready. After 10 days from when he picked her up, he contacted me to let me know that her urn was ready. He went above and beyond and drove here to personally bring her to us. We would have been okay with having to pick her up from where ever she was, but the fact that Kwasi did this really touched us. Again, he is truly a gem of a person. Her urn was a beautiful sheesam urn with a nameplate of Delilah on it. Seeing it made me cry because I missed her, but also happy that she is finally back with us. If you ever need a private cremation (they also offer communal cremation) for a beloved pet that passed, please do not hesitate to contact Pets.RIP. The prices are reasonable, and they will take care of you from the moment you contact them until the time you receive your pet's urn.

From the unexpected very first phone call the day before, they patiently walked me through the process while I was extremely emotional and overwhelmed. They were calm, kind, and never rushed us. The gentleman who met us at the hospital to transport our baby was thoughtful and respectful. We chose a private viewing and cremation, and while it was more expensive than other options, I wouldn't trade that experience for the world. When we arrived at the facility early the morning of, before the viewing or cremation, we brought breakfast as a small thank you for their compassion. They were genuinely surprised (said it's never been done before), which only spoke further to the selfless care they provide. We were given a private room set slightly away from the reception area, which provided much needed privacy. The room was simple but serene, with a couch, tissues, and a infant changing table style setup. Our baby had already been peacefully laid on the changing table with a small blanket, as if he was just sleeping. Being able to close the door, take our time, hold him, talk to him, cry, and say goodbye without interruption meant everything. They then carefully explained and showed us each step and allowed us to choose how involved we wanted to be, which we deeply appreciated. The whole process only took a few hours and our soul baby was rested in a nice temporary urn while we waited for our custom one. Our requested paw prints, nose prints, and hair clippings were also ready and prepped for us. This was our second time losing a fur baby, but our first experience with this company, and I truly cannot imagine handling such a loss any other way. Highly recommend.

They said that we could come in asap and that there was no wait period, which I appreciated. On top of that, he empathized and was patient with me when I sobbed on the phone because it happened so soon. Which I truly appreciated since it proved to me that Shane is a real one. To wrap up, their prices are extremely fair, the options are gorgeous as seen in the pics I included, and the turn around time to complete the cremation was finished in a week. I would highly recommend Shane to anyone who is looking for a crematorium for their recently deceased fur baby. 10/10 easy for this spot.

It was really important to us to be able to bring him ourselves and have that sense of control. I had also heard too many stories of larger operations misplacing pets or losing ashes during transport, which felt unimaginable. Some of the places we spoke to also felt very transactional. It didn't feel like they were meeting us in what was a very real, emotional moment. Restful Pets was completely different from the first call. They were genuinely compassionate. Being local made everything easier, and their turnaround was much faster than what we were quoted elsewhere. It's definitely no-frills, with no big packages or upsells, but that ended up being exactly what we needed. What mattered most was knowing he was close and that we were in control of the process, with someone who treated us with care. That made all the difference.

After some searching online I came across Restful Pets and after reading a few reviews - I knew this was my best option. I immediately called and Mark, the owner answered. His tone was perfect given the setting/circumstances. He came within 1.5 hours to my home, allowed me to say my goodbyes, explained the process to me, and took her in a larger size "suitcase" which was hard to see but I understand that's how the process works. Within 2 weeks I received a text message from "Justine" letting us know Princess was ready for me to pick her up; throughout this entire process my only complaint or complaint would be the message when notifying the family that their fur baby is ready for pick up, it stated "good news, Princess is ready for pick up" which in one way, I understand how it can be perceived as good news - I've been without her for 2 weeks and receiving her remains should feel like "good news" but for me, it wasn't good news. It was confirmation I'd never see her face again so I felt the choice of words weren't the best. Besides that - they did such a good job and made an already painful process less stressful. Cost - it was as pricey as anywhere else you're looking. As a stay at home mom, I can't afford much and had to research quite a few places and the price is about the same everywhere $20-30 difference max and again, they came to my home and took care of the arrangements. The only thing I felt was overly priced was the clay paw print, I paid $100 for her print and it was gorgeous - don't get me wrong. But the clay molding can be purchased for $20 so $80 for the labor of doing it seemed a bit unreasonable but I wanted a final paw print so I paid it. The box I received with her ashes was also gorgeous. Again, great services and owner was a great person. I hope to not need to use their services anytime soon but would if needed and I do highly recommend if searching for someone.
