Americans typically don't trust Asian cuisine because of how much they just choose American food over others. I'm Asian so I feel obligated to enjoy Asian food: Filipino, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Indian, Among. Fresno and Clovis has the largest Hmong community. Anyways, I just love the smell of this restaurant. It gets five stars from me. 9 out of 10 Indian restaurants that I visit usually have some of the best food I've had. Seriously. It's just good. It tastes homemade and authentic. The lunch buffet also comes with freshly made naan that they bring directly from the kitchen. You can choose plain or garlic naans. We always get the garlic ones. There is always a good variety of dishes at the buffet. Everything we've tried has been tasty, but we especially love their lamb when it's available and their gulab jamun (fried dough balls soaked in sweet syrup). We always leave happy and full! Indian food can sometimes be associated with spicy or hot food, but nothing has ever been too hot for me there. I can't handle spicy food, and I've never had a dish here that I couldn't eat because of the heat. Place: It's a medium-sized restaurant with plenty of room. There are both tables and booths. It's not a new or fancy restaurant, but it's comfortable and spacious, with enough room between tables to give you a little privacy while you eat. Staff: The staff is always welcoming and friendly. They check on you from time to time but generally leave you alone, which works well for a lunch buffet. They also regularly check the buffet area and keep everything clean and well stocked.
