12/10/25 Getting lunch & dinner! Cold weather equals perfect soup weather! Getting tofu soup & ice cream fish for dinner! I called before driving to pick it up to make sure they had it and the worker was very kind and said they did and to go on there, it's ready. Arrived! Korean grocery store. They have it all! They have rice soup when you walk in. Kimchi, Seafood pancakes, etc. too! Didn't see tofu soup. I asked him and he took me right to the back where they have them refrigerated. Got it & strawberry fish for dinner and went to checkout! Paid for it and he was happy to bag it for me with thanks!! =) Lunchtime! Tofu soup was DELICIOUS! Great flavor! Great little mom and pop market with piping fresh Korean food to go! We got some fresh japchae (large portion) and kimbap (2 large rolls) - for less than $20 we ate ourselves stupid and couldn't even finish all the food. Walking around the shop we saw a lot of Korean goodies - all very reasonably priced. They also sell fresh produce and kitchenware. Definitely coming back - my daughter said that the food was some of the best Korean she's had! read more

Korea mart has been around for a while! I love coming here for some Korean necessities. They even have the soy sauce marinated crabs but it's in the frozen aisle. I never tried them but lowkey want to. They have house made kimchi, radish, and a lot of other banchan. I got the kimchi and radish. The radish was okay. Wish the chunks was diced smaller. The kimchi is koo. I got sesame oil and some noods there too. They even have some Korean skin care which I noticed after paying for my stuff. The customer service was decent. Hidden gem for sure! My cousin found this market after craving Korean food since she moved from SD where she had an H Mart and lived off banchan. They had so many freshly made dishes (we got one of most) plus tons of frozen items! You can find a little bit of everything in here. It was all reasonably priced. The people who worked there were so nice and helpful as well. The small market was packed with quite a few people for a Saturday night. We are already looking forward to going back! read more

Some of the oils were in too big of a bottle for me so definitely a great place for bulk or people who cook Korean food often. The service was great. The cashier was helpful in answering my questions about the different kinds of rice to use for my dish and I felt like I could approach her as a novice. i randomly stumbled upon this store when i was in the plaza and i'm glad i did because korea mart makes the best kimchi in fresno!! the kimchi is spicy (but not toooooo spicy), crunchy (not soggy) and fresh (doesn't taste like it's packed with preservatives). it's available in different sizes so i'd recommend getting the smallest one to see how you like it. before you know it, you'll only be the large jar for $13.99. read more

Korea Mart is a cute small grocery store that's almost hidden within the square. I came by looking for some naengmyeon (Korean cold noodles), and was happy to not only find what I was looking for, but also a great selection of freshly made banchan, kimbap and other snacks. The only thing they really lack is fresh vegetables, but it's a great place to come if you're looking for some korean food, snacks and ingredients! We were able to make a delicious meal with everything we bought, and will definitely be back next time we want to make any Korean food. read more

This little hole in the wall Korean market has some packaged goods, homemade looking food items, Teas, rice etc. plus they have looks like homemade Pajeon, bulgogi, seaweed salad, kimchi and some glass noodle looking thing. I usually come here to get tea, or rice, or some of the asian stuff that other stores don't carry. I like to support the small business. I'll have to try their food the next time I stop in. read more

I love coming to Korea Mart for all my Korean ingredients. They sell almost all the known Korean side dishes like kimchi, bean sprouts, pickled cumcumber, etc. The store also sell drinks, ramen, frozen food, and snacks. They have home items as well like pots, pans, tea sets, cooking utensils. One thing I love most is that they make fresh kimbap, Korean pancakes, tteokbokki, and potato noodles. They sell it for a reasonable price. Super filling if you grab 2-3 of them items. The only thing is that I wished more items are labeled with prices. Also if you use under $10 using a credit card there is a charge. read more

I've been to this place several times since moving to Fresno. I love the convenience of pre-prepared food items that are tasty and nostalgic. The store is small but clean, and has some basic necessities for Asian cooking. If you show up earlier in the day, there are some warm deli items out on the counter--the first couple times I went in the afternoon, I never saw stuff that Yelpers have been raving about until I finally asked and someone said they're usually only prepared in the morning. I love the kimbap and japchae, and get these almost every time I go. The store also sells the sweet potato noodles so I can make my own japchae at home. The kimchi pancakes and seafood pancakes are hearty. I treat the tteokbokki as an occasional indulgence when I really want a chewy rice cake and am too lazy to make it, but I can't do it often because theirs is a bit too spicy for me. They have a lot of refrigerated side dishes too, and I'm still working on getting through trying all of them. I love the ice cream with red bean wrapped in a fish-shaped sandwich too. The lady at the front is always really nice, and packages stuff neat and tidy so that my food boxes all stay intact on the drive home. read more

When I first moved to Fresno from Los Angeles, I was completely devastated by the lack of an H Mart here. Whenever I visited LA, I would make stops at H Mart to get all my special ingredients, fancy ramen, rice cakes, enoki mushrooms, etc. I was driving down Shaw and out of the corner of my eye, I noticed a sign for Korea Mart! I immediately pulled in because I was intrigued, and I'm so glad I did! Korea Mart has a small footprint, but they have so many great ingredients that I'd been missing! When I walked into the store, I was immediately greeted by a display of prepared foods like kimbap and pancakes. I picked up a small packet of prepared kimchi pancakes and they were so delicious! I was also able to pick up soft and silken tofu, different types of sauces/marinades/cooking ingredients, and some exciting looking ramen packets. They definitely carry a fair amount of brands that you'd see at H Mart or other large chain Asian grocers. I wish I had picked up some enoki mushrooms they had to spice up my ramen, next time! In addition to food, snacks, and spices/seasonings/oils, they have a selection of home items like pots, pans, mugs, etc. Like other reviewers have mentioned, purchases under $10 require a card fee. It's way too easy for me to spend more than that here! I can't wait to come back! read more

Absolutely love this place! Has all of the essential Korean food and ingredients at reasonable prices. I believe it's family run as well. They have an assortment of kimchi, kimbap (when available), banchan (Korean side dishes), and occasionally some freshly made soups as well. In addition, there's lots of frozen items and instant noodles. Their kimchi and kimbap are my favorite. The kimchi is very fresh and still has that slight crunch. The kimbap has a lot of filling compared to rice, really great value. Overall I recommend stopping by here if you get a chance. read more

Good variety of Korean groceries for cheaper than a lot of Pan-Asian markets in the Central Valley. They often have fresh gimbap too!

3 stars because the vibe was kinda weird. Nobody greeted us the entire time we were in the store. Even when the man rung the items I picked up, not a word. A little bit of happy customer service would have changed my whole experience since it was my first time in their store. But...their kimchi is sooooo good!! They had a variety of home made sides ready to go if you need them to pair with your KBBQ. Also, they had a great selection of instant ramen too! read more

Honestly this place definitely gets away with being the only Korean focused store in Fresno in terms of pricing. I got a japchae and a little box of octopus and it costed me $14!! So expensive. They're forgiven though because the octopus was dank the japchae was not good though. Love the variety of things too! read more

This isn't really a review on the place but more so a little PSA to anyone who is thinking of shopping here. They do not have prices on anything!!! For what reason? Idk I didn't ask because my mind was so blown when I got my total amount. I grabbed no more than maybe 5-6 items and majority were snacks- a couple bag of chips and what not. I mean I was throwing things into the cart pretty care freely but again snacks, so didn't think much of it. I'm aware that these stores usually will slightly over charge for little products that are not common in other Asian stores but let me tell you, my total rang up to over $50 and on one of the bag of chips it was $8!! I'm like wth? It's not even a large bag either. Just your average size back of chips. So, again if you're gonna shop here be ready to over pay for your items. read more
