My personal favorite is the seafood linguine, and my husband always gets a pasta dish with spicy sausage and chicken that he loves. The portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable, especially for the quality. The atmosphere is welcoming and family-friendly. Most of the seating is in booths, which we prefer, and we've never had to wait too long, even on busy weekend nights. The staff is friendly and attentive, and they really make you feel at home. My kids are obsessed with the mac & cheese (the portion is huge!) and the chicken with mashed potatoes. One of the things I appreciate most is how thoughtful they are with kids. They cover the tables in paper and hand out crayons so the little ones can draw. The servers even write their names on the table, which adds a sweet personal touch and helps keep everyone entertained while we wait for our food. They also have a great wine list, which is a nice bonus. We always leave with happy bellies and big smiles. Toscano's is the kind of place you keep coming back to and we do!

We had a 15 minute wait for our table so we sauntered over to the bar and got a drink. As always, the table was ready much sooner, which is greatly appreciated. We brought our drinks over the table and maybe 5 minutes (that's a long time after being seated) later our server popped their head in and said, Do you know what you want to eat? Straight to the point. No, How Are You Doing, No nothing. Just have you made up for your mind. lol I could tell she was miffed because we brought drinks over from the bar. There goes the larger bill, therefore a larger gratuity. I know from experience, that was always a pet peeve. You also never know the type of evening someone is having. I always try to extend a little grace in the long run. I'm sure a lot have enjoyed their Chicken Parmigiana. I'm not one of them, mainly for all of the beets and carrots. Yes, beets and carrots took out more than half of the plate. I counted four bowtie pasta. Not to mention the beets were hidden under all of the carrots. And that's fine, but let people know that you're getting beets and carrots with Chicken Parm entree. I think either the server or the menu said something about broccoli. I had two florettes. Dessert (cheesecake with blueberry sauce ) was amazing, but the serving size was sad. Call me Tom, short for Petty, but there was more Readi Whip than cheesecake. And the size. Oh, the size, it was so small. Speaking of small, I think they get 12 chicken Parmesan from one chicken breast. Extremely thin. I know darn well all of these rising costs are hitting everybody/business in their pocketbooks, but, just don't serve some things. With all this said, I will be back. Like I said initially, I know they make good food. Looking forward to trying a grinder, just won't get the chicken Parmesan with root vegetables. PS. I dinedthere a few nights ago and then I got this alert.

For appetizers, we had calamari, the antipasti misto and bruschetta for appetizers. For dinner some had the special (a t-bone). I had the lobster ravioli which was excellent. Everyone enjoyed their meal. For dessert... canneloni, tiramisu and chocolate and espresso martinis. Wow! All in all a very special evening at a very special place. 10+! Highly recommend!

The entrance was cozy and inviting, with plants out front that added to the atmosphere. Although the restaurant looked spacious from the outside, there were only a handful of tables inside. We arrived without a reservation and were seated quickly, despite only one table being available. I ordered the Chicken diavola, which came with pasta in a creamy butter and wine sauce. The portion was very generous, especially the amount of chicken, which I appreciated since some restaurants tend to skimp on it. Overall, the dish was decent, though it needed a little more salt for my taste. For dessert, we ordered the tiramisu, which was disappointing. It lacked the coffee flavor I was hoping for and had more whipped cream than I personally enjoy. The service also felt rushed. Our server brought over the dessert menu while I was still eating my main course, which made us feel as though they wanted us to finish and leave rather than relax and enjoy our celebration. While I appreciated the cozy atmosphere and generous portions, the disappointing dessert and rushed service made the experience less enjoyable

We also tried the Carpaccio Di Manzo -- thinly sliced aged beef with truffle oil, Reggiano, red onions, capers, and greens. The flavors were excellent, although I was a little disappointed by how small the portion was for the price. The real standout, though, was the lasagna. Easily one of the best I've had in a long time. The wafer-thin pasta layered with rich Bolognese and creamy béchamel was incredible. And that red sauce -- I honestly haven't had a red sauce with that kind of depth and flavor since I lived on the East Coast. Overall, the food was excellent and you can tell there's real care put into it. Despite wishing the carpaccio portion was a little more generous, the lasagna alone is enough to bring me back. Definitely a place I'll be returning to.

From the start, the experience was great. Friendly greeting, water on the table almost immediately, and an offer to get us whatever we wanted to drink. Our server, Drew, was fantastic. He was attentive without hovering and kept an eye on everything; water, bread, butter, and whatever else we needed. He was doing the same for the other tables, too. The restaurant was quiet when we arrived, but filled up over the next hour, but a nice buzz throughout the place, not overwhelming at all. Made for easy conversation. Busy for a casual Monday night! This was actually my first time at Carmine's, which is kind of surprising since I've entertained a lot of people around Bellevue over the years. Somehow this one slipped under my radar... not sure how! For dinner, I went with the Bolognese and we shared a Caesar salad. My wife had the small clam linguine. Everything came out hot and full of flavor. I've been craving a really good Bolognese, and this definitely hit the spot. My wife really enjoyed the clam linguine. There were plenty of clams, although she could have used a little more pasta. The sauce, however, was excellent. Drew suggested using it to dip the remaining bread into which was an excellent recommendation. And then there were the anniversary touches. There was a "Happy Anniversary" card on the table that Drew / Hostess had somehow produced and put there for us. Nice touch! We were way too full for dessert, but somehow a wonderful tiramisu showed up anyway, with "Happy Anniversary" written on the plate. Another very nice touch. For a walk-in on our anniversary, we couldn't have asked for a much better experience. Good food, great service, and a few unexpected touches that made the night feel special. Thanks, Carmine's, and thanks, Drew. We'll definitely be back.
