We got there around 6:30 just before sunset and there was a good amount of people and families, but it never felt too overwhelming. Parking was pretty efficient. We did notice another lot closer to the pumpkin patch, but the walk from where we parked was only about five minutes so it really wasn't bad. I loved the decorations and overall layout of the farm. Admission into the pumpkin farm is $4 Friday through Sunday and $2 Monday through Thursday, which I thought was pretty reasonable. There was a lot going on around the property with different activities, food, drinks, and even live music. I tried their Killer Marg and it was soooo delicious. It had a really fresh citrusy flavor where you could actually taste the fruit. I do wish there were a few more dedicated photo ops throughout the pumpkin patch because I think that would add even more to the experience, especially around sunset. Besides that, there was plenty to walk around and see. Coming right before sunset was also such a good choice because the farm looked so pretty as the sun was going down. Train ride: 6 tickets per person Pony ride: 10 tickets per person There are also carnival games that require tickets. The biggest downside for me was the food selection. There really wasn't a lot offered when we went -- basically kettle corn was the main food option we saw. I was expecting more fall/pumpkin-patch food choices, especially for the price of admission and activities. Prices: Most activities are an additional ticket cost, so the total can add up quickly depending on how many activities you do. Parking: Parking is available on-site, which made bringing the kids pretty convenient. Overall, I'd give it 3.5/5. I'd still recommend it for families who want cute fall pictures, carnival games, a train ride, and pony rides, but I'd definitely eat beforehand or plan on having another meal afterward because the food options are limited.

We bought them on Sunday, Oct. 18. Lasted not even two weeks (stored inside). For perspective, we usually buy a couple from the grocery store to leave on our porch through Fall. As a tradition, and for fun, we leave them out for as long as we can. We always make it to March, sometimes even April. Sadly, a Bates pumpkin barely would barely make it two weeks. We used to buy them in early October, even late September, with not too many issues. This the second time in seven years that Bates' pumpkins have not made it past two weeks. I think what happens is when the pumpkins are unloaded from the trucks and boxes, they get tossed and thrown around. My wife and her family have been going to Bates since the late '70s. They have pictures with the original Mr. Bates. I hope they can figure something out. On a positive note, the "patch" always makes for great pictures. Store has great snacks and food. Workers are nice.

We went on a Monday late in the season, and things were kind of barren. There was a very small selection of pumpkins left, and only a few food stalls. Not the most festive or exciting atmosphere, but I mostly attribute this to the time of the month and day that we went. I saw on their website that they have live music, more food vendors, and other events on the weekend. The animals were so cute! And we did get a nice walk in among quaint surroundings. Please don't get me wrong- I did enjoy my time here. I probably would have given a higher rating if there were more things to do, so I may revisit next year at a more opportune time. The bates nut farm shop is fun to look around and has many great products. We picked up 4 bags of tea, and snacks like chocolate covered peanuts, coconut almonds, and toffee cashews. We're so excited to try them!

The bouncy castles and slides were completely unshaded with one paltry EZ-up available for parents to huddle beneath for shade. A wristband for the kids' activities was $18 for 30 minutes and my daughter gave up after 5, because the inflatables were too hot to use. The maze was fine and we had no trouble navigating through it, especially with the QR code signposts posted throughout, but it is HOT in there. It was 100 degrees outside and the maze is even hotter. When I finally staggered out of the maze exit, my daughter had blisters on her feet and my infant son was wailing and red-cheeked. Don't be like us: BRING LOTS OF WATER. It took me about 45 minutes to get myself, a limping 5 year old, and a flimsy Walmart stroller carrying a very angry infant through the uneven terrain. It's not an overly difficult maze but you will want to pack lots of water, sunscreen, and maybe skip the stroller if you aren't sure how it can handle rutted-out dirt paths carved into a corn field. I grew up in Temecula and went to the Big Horse corn maze every year for many years. I even worked it when I was in high school, I think it was an opportunity for earning community service hours needed to graduate high school. But I do not recall the event being such a money grab back in the day. I don't think my family will be coming back in years to come.

In the way old days there was trivia at each checkpoint and the card told you which way to turn based on the answer you picked. If you got the right answer you'd be on the right path. Then there was no more trivia, but there were numbered checkpoints so you'd know whether you were on the right path or not. Not as fun, but OK. This year there wasn't even numbered checkpoints. I guess there was a photo of the design you could take a photo of when you paid to enter, but no one told us about that. We ended up hearing about it from someone else in the maze when we asked if they had seen a checkpoint yet. Turns out you really don't need a photo though. It's basically a long walk (took us 45 minutes) through the cornfield. You can't really get lost because any dead ends are super short. There is literally no challenge in it anymore. I was pretty disappointed. It's always been a favorite fall activity for me.

March 24, 2024 ‍‍ Last weekend we married off our baby girl…read moreat Willow Creeks Events, which is an enchanted and magical venue!!! An abundance of appreciation goes out to Bethany and her team. This team was AMAZING, they bent over backwards (without being asked to) to ensure our daughter's wedding was as magical, beautiful, pleasant, warm and dry as possible due to a major storm forecasted. Miraculously, as the day went on, the rain pushed away and the sun peaked out. Therefore, the ceremony was held outside as planned, it was absolutely stunning! We did end up having to rent a tent for the reception, which Bethany coordinated for us. The inside of the tent was decorated beautifully, with lights and flower arrangements placed throughout, as well as, special corner curtains to cover up the tent poles. The team gave us an extra surprise by hanging a chandelier over the bride and grooms table, they thought of everything! I truly believe that because the tent being warmed by patio heaters, is why the majority of our guest stayed to the very end. This team even took preparations for where the caterer and cake cutting would be, they made everything fit in as though it was planned that way from the very start. All the elegant / beautiful bouquets and flower arrangements were hand made by Bethany, they were simply breathtaking! All of our guests stated throughout the night how beautiful the venue was. Some even stated they want their wedding to be exactly how our daughters was. It cannot go unmentioned how Bethany and Julie were so easy to work with! This team hit it out of the park! THANK YOU!

She was EXTREMELY accommodating - my husband and I are both healthcare workers who occasionally work Saturdays with changing schedules throughout the week - this never was an issue when it came to planning our wedding. The location is extremely beautiful from the daytime to sunset and even to night time with all the lights and chandeliers. There are honestly SO many locations to take beautiful photos in and this was a big factor as we wanted a variety of places for backdrop - there's a lavender field, a bridge overlooking a small pond area, and a place with a sing - this is not including the picturesque house covered in vines and the ceremony site. Additionally, all the decor in the photos below were included (even the furniture, florals, and table settings). We chose the package that included florals and Bethany (who is also a florist) went ABOVE and BEYOND with the floral arrangements and bouquets, literally making my Pinterest autumn wedding dreams come true. The day of the wedding went as smoothly as weddings can possibly go and despite it being the craziest day, it was also one of the best days of our lives. We really owe it all to Bethany and cannot rave enough about her and her team. We've heard from many of our friends who got married about something they didn't like about their wedding planning process, but honestly, working with Bethany was completely smooth, stress-free, and an efficient yet detailed process. You will get two different parking lots here. Just keep in mind, Bella Marie does host campers & trailers to use the parking lot, overnight. Luckily when we booked our date/ time for the event- some of our bikes arrived half an hour earlier of opening time & this gave us time to scope out the parking situation. We were luckily enough to get the spots we wanted. My friend & I came to Bella Marie about 6 weeks prior to our event date to check out the grounds & see what Bella Marie offered guests. The upper parking lot, adjacent to the retail store & restroom is also where we reserved our event location. The store offers pre made picnic baskets, a wide selection of mini charcuterie kits, & sundries. Bottled water, juices, etc. We booked for 10 people & we're told it'd be a $50 deposit & that specific group size would need to purchase 6 bottles. On the day of our event, our $50 deposit would be applied to 2 bottles of wine. We kept our price range on the lower price end, for the group. We were told on the day of our booking- outside food is also allowed. Which is very convenient for guests, since there is no kitchen serving meals. I believe this is such a great idea, which would make me return to just another event. On the day of our event, we had less than 10 gals (including me). And two of our guests purchased a flight of wine each. Another of our gals made it very clear she didn't care for wine - but, wanted to buy her mother a bottle. But, this friend was also at the counter helping us decide which bottles to choose for our group. She was a fan of Aprepos and actually bought a bottle for herself! LOL. Ice is also available to cool down your glass of wi Aprepos & Meowvasia were popular amongst our group. Location is close to i -15.

We hopped on a call and immediately loved her style and approach, even though we ultimately decided not to get married in that area. Many months later, once we'd finally landed on our actual destination, we called her back and asked if she'd be willing to plan a wedding with us somewhere else entirely. We are SO glad she said yes, because it led not just to an incredible planning partnership, but to a real friendship! From the start, it was clear Courtney has an extremely thoughtful process and an incredible eye for detail, nothing ever slips through the cracks with her. She has this rare balance of being able to lead and guide with real expertise, while also staying open and creative, exploring every option with us instead of just dictating a path. She met us exactly where we were on any given topic, if we wanted her opinion or needed her to just make the call, she'd step up, and where we had strong opinions ourselves, she let us lead. What makes her truly exceptional is the combination of being incredibly on top of the process, timeline, and vendors, basically the glue holding everything together, while ALSO having genuinely excellent taste and style. There was only one employee we saw during the entirety of our visit but he was super friendly. We ordered a bottle, the charcuterie platter and a pizza. The charcuterie board is refrigerated and they provide a bag of crackers as well. We went with the veggie pizza & it took maybe 20 minutes to come out and was absolutely delicious. The grounds themselves are absolutely gorgeous. There are 3 covered areas to sit at up top with plenty of seating. Down the first flight of stairs has a fish pond and some beautiful areas to walk around. I'm not sure if that area was where they do weddings as there was also a spot across the way with a dais, but we didn't make it over there. The wine was delicious! We tried two of the whites and the sweet rosé. I'm not normally a rosé fan, but it was my favorite wine I had there. Overall we had a really relaxing time with beautiful views.
