Dr. Perce was very thorough and informative regarding what my treatment plan would be and how long I would be in the Invisalign. There are payment plan options if needed for your treatment. After my consultation, I decided to move forward with my treatment plan. I was taken in the back and scanned for the Invisalign. Fast forward a couple of weeks, the office I called sooner than I expected to inform me my Invisalign was in and to make an appointment; the fitting lasted about an hour. I called Aiosa & Hoffman's office and explained what happened to me and asked for a ONE (1) month courtesy hold on the OrthBank payment due to all my own medical bills and would make a double payment the following month. They FLAT OUT said NO. They did not care and stated they do not make any payment arrangements but could cancel my sons Invisalign until I could pay the one months payment. Are you kidding me? I'm asking for a ONE month payment courtesy hold and you want to cancel the Invisalign!!! It is not like I ditch my bills, I pay them. So I called OrthoBank and they stated they could push the payment date out and make 2 payments the following month. I just found out OrthoBank was called by Aiosa & Hoffman and had them place a note in my account to NOT make any payment arrangements with me. I am in the position to make the double payment and just did. HOWEVER, this is a note that they do not care about a fellow humans health and will NOT work with you for even a ONE month's assistance so you don't stress about the bill. Went for "consultation" to continue treatment after PCS for military for my daughter. They charged…read morea "lab fee" of $195 which was not disclosed when making the appointment and the dentist did not even do a consult. He came in for 5 minutes and gave a suggested plan that was very different then our previous orthodontist had set. While I don't expect treatment plans to be exactly the same I would expect to be the same ballpark. Lastly we didn't even receive an actual consultation outside of the 5 minutes and they wanted to schedule an additional visit for the actual consultation. I know this is not standard in this area as all the other places I called did a free consult with the first visit. I had gone in expecting a free consult and did not receive that. We ended up going somewhere else who is much more transparent with their fees and services. The second star is only because the front office staff were very friendly and they're only doing their jobs so I can't blame them.

While she was on vacation, my son let me know that some recent adjustments that they had made had failed. One of the wires was put in wrong and has started cutting the inside of his mouth. And the another one came loose yesterday just from him eating... and it is letting the teeth now shift in that area and causing additional pain (and presumably setting this treatment backwards). So I called this morning. I told them I would be getting him at school at 2:30pm. They said I could call the after hours number (admin girl gave it to me) and they they would come up to the office and meet us for quick adjustments. It's Friday, so we really need this so he's not in pain all weekend. You know where this is going. The "emergency line" is just a voice mail that clearly no one is checking. I have left 3 voice mails and no reply at all. What's the use in an "emergency line" that isn't attended to?

They justified by saying there was a lab cost which drove the price up. Did some research found they were not truthful in their answers. A dentist office "Smiles" has the same product for $1,800 w/ payment options. I'm taking my third son there to be fitted for Invisalign. They are ripping off hard working people. Please do your research. Dr. Levine is the owner of both locations and you are over paying.
