Large two story building on a quiet street. Limited street and some lot/shared lot parking. Inside the front entry is a sitting area with some merch and a gas fireplace, then a large service area and some booths, and lots of bottle shelves. Two small one person toilet and sink cubes down a short hall. Then a side door into a huge plastic walled patio with a roof, large heaters, and a large gas fireplace. You are issued wine menus when you come in, and there are pencils and cards for a four wine sampler flight. The wines are all flavored somehow, in different ways. Then you order by the glass or bottle after. The staff was friendly, helpful, and fast. You order food from the pub next door, with whom they share the outdoor patio space.

Well I'm at Sage Creek Winery and been spending generously well over 100.00 to only find out when others food showed up to the table I don't get to eat because when setting their food down in front of them :40 later I'm told they ran out of my choice! Bad choice to shit on someone so verbal! .. and who waits until foods served to tell someone their choice is gone ? I could've picked something else to be fed with my company! Doghouse Tavern is responsible for shitting the bed never again they are dead to me and will repeat this for years to come!

Pretty cool place inside and out. They do not serve any foot but did have a food truck in the parking lot and you are able to purchased food at the bar next door and bring it into Sage Creek. They have a pretty decent selection of their own wines but the wines seemed a little gimmicky to me. While tasty, a wine mixed with dark chocolate or a peanut butter and jelly wine isn't really the wine profiles I prefer or search for.

I came here with a friend last Sunday (Sunday of Memorial day weekend). She wanted to come because they kept sending her ads on her Facebook for wine slushies. It sounded like a fun adventure. Sage Creek Winery is located in Memphis, Michigan which is about 45 minutes from my house. It is right past the stoplight in town and parking is free and right next to the winery. You have the option of sitting inside or sitting outside. We went for outside because it was a nice day. You get handed a menu to read the descriptions of the wines. We both went for a wine flight and my friend actually got the wine slushy, aka the reason why we came. The wine flight options are a small pour or a larger pour. I got the small pour one because I was driving. One of the wines basically was just sugar and alcohol or exactly how it was described on the menu. There's no food options associated with the Winery but it looked like you could order food from the restaurant next door that has outdoor seating. The person that helped us checked up on us to make sure we were good a couple of times. She also got me a quick sample of a wine that I didn't try because I said that it might be one that would come home with me. It did. The wine bottles are decently priced. The flights were good. It is definitely worth checking out

Hands down- wonderful place! If you're looking for fun, delicious but affordable wines.. sage creek is it. I went with a group of friends and spent several hours here, if only to enjoy the ambiance. There is a cute outside, but the patio has a beautiful fireplace making it a great place to sit and enjoy some wine flights in the summer or winter. The rotating wine slushes are DELICIOUS!! And you can get wine flights in 2 different ounce sizes. They don't sell food there, but have rotating food trucks that stop by, and you're able to order and bring food over from the bar next door!

What a fun winery located in the small town of Memphis. We took a little break from city life and my friend took me on a beautiful drive. Ive been wanting to try this place out for quite some time, but I'm never out this way, but today we made it happen! This winery is adorable and gets pretty busy midday. They have amble seating inside and a heated, covered patio outback to accommodate more guests. I decided to try the "glitter wine" holiday flight and he decided on a bold & beautiful Cowboy Red blend. We had the best time sitting by the fire and just talking. It was such a cozy atmosphere and it was great to see everyone out and about enjoying the holiday season. If you're looking for a fun spot, Sage Creek Winery is most certainly worth the drive.

Great wine, beautiful patio, and decent prices. Bar next door that will bring food over and often have food trucks. Great place for tastings!

Their pizza is yummy, and the vineyard vibe is charming. There are animals to pet, wide open views, and it's right on their property but designed in a way that still feels like a public space. I wanted to keep loving this place. I really did. But the energy has completely shifted. I've been here multiple times now, and every single experience with the owners has left me feeling tense and unwelcome. The final straw came after a couple of situations that made it clear this place is no longer what it used to be. One time, my son climbed onto a tractor that was left completely open. No signs. No fencing. And the keys were literally in the ignition. I was already walking over to get him down when the owner came out and screamed at me. No grace, no calm explanation, just full-volume yelling in front of everyone. I was mortified. It shook me up for the rest of the day. Another time, we were just a few minutes early and waiting by the entrance, not bothering anyone, just sitting in the car. Again, she came out yelling, like we had broken some rule by showing up early. And then, the husband. I watched him get belligerent with another guest. He was mocking him loudly and making a scene in front of other people. It was really uncomfortable to witness. No matter what the situation was, that is not how you treat paying customers. I don't know what happened here. Maybe as the place got more popular, the stress got to them. But somewhere along the way, they seem to have lost the heart for hospitality. I never write reviews like this, but I'm sharing it because this place has so much potential. It used to feel like a happy little secret. Now it just feels heavy. To the owners, I truly hope you hear this for what it is. You've built something beautiful. People want to come here and enjoy what you've created. But you cannot treat guests like this and expect them to keep coming back. I hope one day the warmth returns. I really do. But until that happens, I won't be back.

I get it, same longitude and wines should grow similar and all that jazz, but Michigan wines outside of the sweeter styles really never taste right to me. Well whatever they are doing here is nothing short of scientifically brilliant. Probably some of the best MItten Vino I have ever had and that assessement is from traveling all around the state and trying different areas. The Frontenac, Petite Pearl, Marquette were my favorites by far. But my five stars isn't for the wine, it's for the sheer joy this place brings me. Absolutely beautiful campus with sheep and goats and a big white furball of a dog who looks so adorable but is trained to kill any possible threat to his wards. The large barn event space and indoor seating is nothing short of gorgeous and of course sitting outside is just pure joy. I will add more pics as I come across them.

They have a wide knowledge of brewing, grapes, and go out of their way to make sure each customer feels taken care of. This is the place for top notch customer service. It is an adorable barn feel with an inside sitting area, an outdoor space, and a loft where you can listen to music or see some comedy. They have a very extensive variety of wines and a nice beer list that goes from light, to fruity, to IPA, to dark. I loved the ability to be able to have small portions of beer and wine so I could sample a lot without feeling sick from drinking too much. They offer they drinks in a two ounce size, then two larger glass sizes. The prices of the drinks are pretty good as well. They have a small menu of food. We tried the pizza and it is not bad for a tasting room, but not too over the top. The price on the pizza was not bad, especially with prices these days. They also have a mixed drink menu that was quite extensive. The prices on those drinks were fairly good as well. They told us their espresso martini was the best in the area. I would tend to agree, probably the best in the area, but for me, not the best overall. To be honest we have been doing an espresso martini tasting tour around the US and there is a lot of competition, but it is definitely something to try here. I would try a rum drink personally next time, since their tropical drinks sounded delicious. The beer game in Michigan is also pretty stiff competition. We do live in a state where we have one of the top cities for beer world wide. But since they do offer about eight flavors, there is something for everybody here. This place is a really fun time to hang with friends and family.
