I sent flowers to my sister who has just been diagnosed with lung cancer. Her response? "They look…read morelike I feel." Well we got a laugh out of that anyway. When the driver handed her the flowers, the vase had no water in it. It also didn't come with any floral food packet. The flowers were wilted, bruised, and the greens were broken and even had brown spots on them. The roses were wide open and maybe have 2-3 days left before they start falling apart. The flowers and greens should have been cut to size and arranged in floral foam so that they had a nice rounded form as shown in the example. That's what floral designers do and that's what I thought I was paying for. The point of the leaf inside the vase as pictured in the example (but nowhere to be found in the arrangement) is to hide the floral foam. And, there should be at least a half-assed effort at being the flowers promised. There were 2 orchids, but no shasta daisies, no mums or other flowers as shown. The roses and a couple orchids are the only common flowers. This is absolutely atrocious. It looks like it was thrown together by the delivery driver in the back of his ride which I'm guessing is exactly what happened after he slammed on the brakes and it skidded across the bed of the van. I paid almost $120 for this. Never again.
