This is a great addition to the nearby lunch scene for staff and employees in the Coast Capitol building across the way. The aisles are a little narrow, but everything was clean and well-stocked. The bakery had a huge selection of cakes and pastries. The meat section had a better selection than the save on I have near home. The aisles were easy to navigate and things were easy to find. Hopefully, it all stays the same as time progresses. There is a pharmacy section to the left of the entrance, it is spacious and had most things that you'll need for day to day. The previous location on King Geroge was a little dingey and in need of an upgrade. This location is definitely a huge step above.

Surprisingly large underground supermarket inside this office complex…read more Free parking is available underground (P2). This lot has to have the weirdest layout in town. It looks like they mashed 3 separate adjacent parkades together, seeing as how one has to go down to P3 then back up to P2 to get to this area. I can't even describe how to leave, other than that the Rosser exit is accessed by going UP and the Lougheed exit is accessed by going DOWN. Once inside, the area looks pretty clean and modern. Very different from the 1990s orange/blue look. Guess I've been living in the past. Pricing is fairly decent, with plenty of discounts. The discounts require a More card. Another thing to stick into my wallet, since there's no app as of the time of writing, which honestly sucks. Layout is fairly intuitive. Samples are no longer available thanks to a certain coronavirus. Definitely a good option for groceries other than that overpriced Whole Foods across the street.

Great location ( Downstairs at Madison Centre in Burnaby )…read more It's big, bright, and clean. Excellent selection, fresh produce and a bakery that smells amazing. Speaking of the bakery/ deli section - they have a huge display of wraps & tortillas. All sizes and varieties. Big bulk food isle as well that is currently open. They have free parking and carts are only a quarter deposit. Prices are quite good. Way better then my Downtown market options -which have half the selection with nearly double the cost. Be sure to get your Save-On-More card to get the lower prices (as per signage on applicable products) Self check out is a breeze and you're on your way !

Bright clean store with higher end healthy food…read more Staff always friendly & helpful. The produce is always brightly coloured and well maintained. Lots of goodness to explore ! I particularly love the salad bar. They have a wonderful array of veggies, proteins, pastas and dressings. It can be pricy, but well worth it. Other items I recommend is the Paddy (Patty?) Cake. It's a moist carrot cake with the most delicious actual cream cheese icing- not the normal sugary topping. In the condiments section they have Yeshi Nutritional Yeast Dressing /Dip. It's so good! They have a decent bulk section as well. Only reason for not giving it 5 stars is that they no longer make Monster Cookies and they were out of the cake my last visit !

I'm always looking forward to stopping when I need a pastry or a sandwich to have with my morning or lunch Tea The large cookies are so good and loaded with chocolate chips! Messy when driving but so so yummy ! The strudel's at $1.19 each are a great deal and they have a mix of cream cheese and strawberry filling, I can't help myself but have to grab 2 of them when ever I'm there My favourite is the Cream Cheese Danish Omg is all I have to say about that lol :0) All of the deli sandwiches I've had have been delicious and I feel good after eating them Can't say that for all places and they heat them in an oven not a microwave A good price at $8-$9 Their packaged fruit is always been fresh and reasonably priced as well Sushi is made fresh every morning and they make authentic & creative rolls to perfection Get there early while just made and wow are they good! Just an overall great place to grab Real fresh food at a reasonable price when your on the go like I'm am most days :0) Way Way better than any drive thru for about the same price Don't take my word for it Check it out yourself I'm sure you'll be glad you did

I'm a little surprised at how little they have of specialty things though. Being a "marketplace" IGA I would hope that they'd have a better selection of seafood, specialty cheeses, deli meats, etc. I went here to find fixings for a nice charcuterie board with fancy cheeses, meats and condiments and I was quite locked in because of the options I was given. How times have changed, this brand new Save On Foods is now the anchor store in this Residential / Commercial building and is offering the neighbourhood a very needed choice for their grocery needs. Yes, prices are a bit higher but considering the location and the quality, and in today's economy almost everywhere you go the prices are high!
