I run up to service desk, sorry I can only ring 5 items, remember I have 8, I explain why I came to her looks at me and repeatedly says only 5. She says there are 5 lanes open,again for the 5th time I say they are minors. No budge, no customer give a crap and no one else is in line, just me.So I go to quick check wait in line again to pay for 3 items. I have made a decision, Winco has some good prices but my time and the way Iam treated is worth more than they can give in prices. When people used to tell me they refuse to shop Winco I didn't understand but OH I do now. You won't catch me there again. Fred Meyer Is up the street And prices are looking pretty good. You can keep all of your EBT customers cause that's who shop there with their over flowing carts and that's ok Iam just not putting myself in the category of having to be treated like crap.

Those events should not be missed as they always deliver on delicious flavors. They always have great updates on their social media of what they have in stock as well as their weekly hauls of fresh produce, noodles, and more. I love that they always try to get popular, viral products too as it can be hard to find those in more mainstream Asian markets. The staff here are always friendly, patient and helpful. The fresh piroshki! Awesome to say the least, Chicken, Cheese, Cabbage, and Apricot were available and hot. Look you can go to the other market on 70th and get very good stuff and pay quite a lot more, or go to Kusher and get a better selection and pay reasonable prices. Yes it is smaller but bigger is not always better and having this small place is a positive. For me Kusher wins hands down. So go, look around and get some awesome stuff.

From what I understand, this is a Ukrainian-owned grocery store, bakery and Cafe and many of the products they sell here are imported from Ukraine. I got some french macarons and lemon squares in addition to the other bakery items and I even found some soda flavored popcorn. It was... Interesting. It's always fun to try something new! They also had a gorgeous flower selection and a nice seating area inside. If that wasn't enough, they even have private outdoor dining domes where visitors can sit and eat. (I snapped a photo of them on the side of the building as we were leaving.) So, when you do stop here to try out some of the delicious baked goods, you'll have a nice place to sit and enjoy the experience. This is definitely a spot worth checking out and supporting and if I lived closer I would visit often.

I tend to only shop here when I need certain food items, such as milk, eggs or certain fruits or vegetables. I've been living down in this booney area due to a new job relocation, and hence, have to put up shopping for groceries at this store. Most of the workers (but not all of them) here are rude, racist and prejudice. They don't even give eye contact to me, and don't even greet me when shopping. Terrible. I just went to this store 30 minutes ago, and this is probably the 100th time I've been here. Your typical white/haole customers standing in front of me can't even place an item divider at the check out behind their food. Yet, when I do the same thing to them when they're behind me, they give me the stink eyes. What hypocrits. The cashier guy, Mike Baker, also didn't even greet me with a good morning or "how are you today?" greeting. Terrible customer service. Great place to shop if you're a white redneck - typical of puyallup, washington locals. read more

Grocery Outlet sells them for $6.99 per 1# box and says on the price card You save 1.63 or something similar. NONSENSE. Every grocery store in town sells them for $5.99 or less and the one grocery store that has a name that starts with "Win", sells them for $4.89. So HOW is Grocery Outlets price 40 to 70% off? It's not. You can do that with 95% of everything in the store. It is a scam. Additionally, many of the items they sell are near the expiration date or are weird brand names you've probably never heard of (pickles from India). Some non-food items do have good prices, but mostly this place is nothing but false advertising. On occasion you can find sale items that are close to the same price as your local grocery store (5% savings maybe), but again, nowhere near 40 to 70% off.
