Checked out the after Christmas sales at this Walmart location on Friday, 12/26/25. There were lots of other people looking at the Christmas items that were on sale for 50% OFF as well, so had to navigate and maneuver around them in the aisles to even look at stuff. Actually bought a lot of Chocolate, Christmas wrappers, a Big Christmas Tree, toys for kids, and souvenirs all on sale!!! Pretty good deals for all of the stuff we got. Browsing around was a little bit of a hassle since there were a lot of people, but we were able to find what we liked. The Checkout process was very good. The cashier was kind and super speedy. I was treated so rudely and direspected by a worker who was monitoring the self check lanes. Her name was Sarah. I was going to a self checkout with my cart of items. The store was empty and no lines formed at any of the registers. I was about to start checking out when the worker comes up and rudely says you need to go to a regular cashier. I asked why and she said you have 18 items 15 is the limit!! I said oh ok i will put back some items so i will be at 15 items. She looks at me and says very loudly and rudely "NO! you need to go to the regular cashier" I said well I am gonna put back some items and she said "NOPE!! I'M NOT DEALING WITH YOU and points and says GO!" just like that!. I was appauled at her treatment and the way she was so loud and rude...I said I am going to speak to customer service about this, she says "GO AHEAD! They apologized, said they know exactly who it was! (as if she done it to others) and that it will be taken care of immediately. They rang up my 18 items and apologized again and again. Manager on morning shift a week ago was taking unsolicited pictures of me and the employee ringing up my stuff and had nothing to say for herself. I had to go back today, unfortunately to get diapers for My son and a different manager was being extremely unprofessional to a couple trying to buy a car seat that was priced down under 1$ ! She was very disrespectful to the couple. It was not the couples fault Walmart made a mistake and 100% should have honored their mistake but instead the threaten this young family in front of their children and said they gave the police their description if they pay the price and walk out with it the police will be coming for them .... I absolutely do not recommend going to this Walmart. It seems like everybody in upper management is unstable and need a reminder of their TRAINING or in my opinion, a total retraining . I work with human rights ... this is just my experience recently. I really hope things will change for the better because this is a lawsuit waiting to blow up. read more

One of your drivers delivered my items to the wrong door in my apartment complex. I got ahold of you guys multiple times, the regular call agents all see that my items INDEED got delivered to the wrong address. They sent it to their review team and apparently they hire the most unintelligent people to review stuff because according to them that is proof of delivery even if it is not your address. I am now out of almost $700 and also didn't get my items replaced. Walmart is a joke and I will be taking my business elsewhere. I spend $1000's at Walmart throughout the month but I will never shop there again. Hope you guys are happy stealing from 4 children. If I could give Negative stars I definitely would. The construction project is expanding to the front of the store! The floors are horrible nothing but concrete. They open at 6am SO I go and get a few things. No registers open none! I go all the way down to the Tobacco check out. There are three of them, standing and talking must be nice, not to work and get paid this was 6:20am! Poor service! I'm not from the area, but I've been to this location at least a dozen times. The greeters are friendly... the store is always clean and I find everything I need (mainly in grocery) in minutes and almost always go with self checkout for a smooth experience from start to finish. I've had amazing customer service and I've had mediocre... where they've run out of bags or didn't offer to assist when assistance was clearly needed. I feel like most of the complaints for this Puyallup location are over a personal issue or one time experience rather than the pros and cons overall. The best time of day to get in and out is after 9pm for sure, but early mornings are great as well (and tend to have more team members to assist you). When I am in the area this is the closest Walmart/Supercenter to me and I always enjoy myself... you can't expect too much from any Walmart, but this one really comes through we it counts the most. The parking lot is huge though shared with several large major chain business like Total Wine, however the Walmart Superstore/center sits on the South half of the lot. The floors inside stay spotless, the layout while ginormous still does a great job at staying organized... with prices to match and beat the competition. read more

I made a grocery purchase at self check out a couple days ago. My receipt didn't print so I called over the employee to reprint it. She sighed as soon as she realized she couldn't figure out how. She called over a team lead, who also couldn't do it. She just said "I can't print it cause the transaction just happened." I'm sorry what?? She didn't even apologize or ANYTHING. And also made me feel unreasonable for wanting her to resolve my issue and provide me with a receipt. Clearly people who consider customers an inconvenience. My son left his phone in a cart at Walmart on New Year's Eve and we did not realize it until we had gotten home. Shannon at the Customer Service Department was amazing and helped us find the phone in the bay of carts. Then after that miracle- we got home and realized we forgot have our groceries at self check out! Shannon once again was so nice and helpful and confirmed that the groceries were in fact left but they had put them back on the floor since so much time had passed. She let me go back and gather the missing items on my receipt. She has the best customer service we have ever received at Walmart. Walmart doesn't keep their word when it comes to ordering items through the website as far as upgrades. When you order an item and it doesn't show out of stock if they don't have it they are supposed to upgrade. How can an upgrade be two other items at the same price and same size??(See photo)... The grocery pick-up service here sucks. I get the idea behind it, I pick up groceries for a disabled vet but at this rate, it would be easier for me to go get the groceries myself. Every time I come here, nobody answers the phone or they send me straight to voicemail. Every single time, I end up waiting for more than 30 minutes just to get checked in then however long to even get the groceries in the car. I have been sitting here since 5:55 and I am just now having someone walk up to my car at 6:30 after 8 attempted calls with my hazards on, because "I didn't see anyone registered for this bay number so I wanted to see what was going on". Never can find the name the order is under, I have to have the veteran send me his order number then magically they see the name. What a joke. read more

I bought a pair of cable tire chains this morning. Never opened them, never used them, never even peeked inside the box. Went to return them the same evening because I didn't need them, with receipt. The customer service rep stated she couldn't accept the return because my black zip tie was missing. I said, "what zip tie?". This zip tie never existed. I had looked through many boxes before picking out the right size initially and don't recall any black zip ties. But just in case my memory has failed me, regardless, mine still did not have a zip tie before I bought it. If this truly is their policy to refuse an unopened/unused item without a zip tie they forgot to put on, then shame on them. If hypothetically I had taken the zip tie off myself (still not using the item) and couldn't return it due to this "policy" then I would have been mildly annoyed but I would have quietly eaten the $55. But that's not how this story goes. Just giving a little warning to the masses before you decide to shop at this Walmart or get this particular item from a Walmart around Puyallup, WA. This store has by and large been a good and convenient place to shop. Due to recent developments in poor customer service and food handling, I made the decision to stop shopping here and left a one star rating with the comment that it was time to take my business elsewhere. Since that time, an assistant manager has been in touch to try and put things right. She authorized a refund on the defective food I'd purchased, which is a very good step in the right direction. Whether I continue shopping there or not will depend largely on how well the attitudes of the associates on the floor improve, but for now I'm upgrading my rating to three stars. Ordered groceries from this store and paid for the extra money to have it delivered within two hours. 4 hours later, we finally got someone to answer the phone and a manager named Jeremy and he says "oh we cancelled the order" without even a phone call. Understaffed. Consistently and at all hours. Never enough checkers. The liquor cabinet is great, simply push the call button, then finish the rest of your shopping. When you return, an associate may be there to assist you. Just picking up a a few items? No need for shopping baskets. They cost the facility that makes millions of dollars, literally every month, too much money. Yeah, an associate actually informed me of this. So far, this location is good. Has pretty much everything you need. I, myself, truly dislike going into any Walmart locations. My time is very precious & few when u have so much demands in life. Therefore, I can say that the online order works great for me. I leverage my airline mileage & make the purchase on their web portal (United/Alaska) & select delivery to my home if not in a hurry or if pick up in store if I need it fast. So far.....I love this convenient service!!! Just go to the rear section of the store (photo shop there too), you ring the bell & an employee comes out immediately, gets your order & scans it & you are out the door in less than 10mins. It is soo cool. The only downside for delivery to your home is some items may not be available & some may be shipped to your local Walmart for store pick up. I've experienced that already & it was inconvenient. Parishable/Grocery items not available for online orders. An employee told me they are tweaking that part & will improve soon hopefully. read more

They make my medications affordable, doing as much for low-income family as any government program has done and without the humiliating process of signing up for government programs that keep you trapped in poverty. My wife is disabled and they always have a cart for her to ride in and if there isn't one available, they contact us as soon as they do. The people are polite. Yes, you may have to wait on the 70 year old man with the bad knees may take a little time to get your package off the top shelf, but I can wait. His Walmart job is helping him supplement the drizzle of Social Security he gets. There is something really wrong with this Walmart. The employees are usually so rude, and when you need help finding something, you can hardly find someone to help you, and "if" you do find someone to help you they are put out, and they just point. At night their lines are always way too long. My last visit, I told them that carts where everywhere, and the guy at the door said we are very well aware of it, yet an hour latter, not one cart had been moved in... I used to love to go shopping, but this place makes me dread shopping. What a joke of a freaking store. Hire some of your 1100 stockers to run a few fucking checkstands. No matter what time I come in, they have 2 checkers open. If I come in late at night or to early they don't even have self-checkout for a choice. All of the staff should be trained on how to run a cash register can it truly be that difficult?? This Walmart is horrible! The supervisor wouldn't accept my price match on razors sold and shipped from Amazon because the ad I showed on Amazon was prime. But the paper they showed me at the register says if the item sold and shipped by Amazon it was not third party and they could accept the price match. Since when did prime automatically qualify it as a third party ad. It doesn't. Y'all need to retrain your supervisors especially if They aren't honoring customers price match read more
