Please staff your pharmacy correctly. The staff are always nice but always understaffed resulting in long lines, waiting at times multiple days for scripts and the inability to get your questions answered because they're always too busy. It's not the staffs fault corporate needs to do better and staff appropriately read more

I don't know why there are these negative reviews. Had to wait? That's all pharmacies. Prescription not on file or no longer has refills? Thats your doctor. I was at Walmart then Walgreens and at both, the waits were longer and I was charged a higher co-pay. And Walgreens kept screwing up my insurance and gave me the wrong pills three, count 'em three times. Yes I reported them. I'll take this pharmacy, thank you. read more

This pharmacy always has a line for pickup and you can anticipate waiting anywhere from 20-45 minutes just to get to the front. They usually have 5 people behind the counter, but only one person checking people out. I've on more then one occasion been reprimanded for not coming to pick up my medication the same day its done. The staff is very over worked and really rude. And Safeway doesn't seem to care to try and cross train someone for back up checking. read more

My Dad is a 75 year old disabled veteran. He scheduled covid vaccine here and went in and they charged him $250 for something he could have gotten for free elsewhere. Absolutely shameful. The manger just gave me attitude about it when I called to ask about it too. UNACCEPTABLE! Who treats elderly people like this?! read more

When a prescription is on back order they don't call you to let you know, when they finally fill the prescription they don't let you know it's ready. When you call or go in person to inquire about the delay, well at that point your an inconvenience to them. I have wasted some much time going to this pharmacy only to be told they don't know, don't know, don't know. Getting a prescription a week late doesn't cut it. They cite a "shortage" when the pharmacy down the street has it? Nice job folk! Glad I'm not waiting on heart medicine... read more

I don't know what was going on but there is almost always a line and thing take forever for a simple pickup. Waited 25 minutes with 4 ppl in front of me. Mine only took about 2 minutes so again, no idea what was happening. But it happens all the time there. I have to assume it's a lack of organization. read more

I have never been treated so poorly by a pharmacy ever. My fill date 12/06/2020. I went in to fill three prescriptions the manager of the pharmacy said she couldn't because start date was 2 days after fill date. She would have to call doctor. No doctors on Sunday. She was the manager and rude as they come. Stay away and drive to Walgreens in Cornelius. They had all 3 prescriptions filled within 20 minutes. I will never go back to Safeway pharmacy I had all prescription filled there until this. Manager also said the rules changed. Maybe the rules are to be rude as heck. read more

I went through Safeway pharmacy for about a year and a half only to have a prescription filled once every 3 months. They are by far the most unorganized pharmacy i have every dealt with. Also their customer service is horrible. Every time i had a prescription that needed to be filled, they either had to dig to find the prescription or it was never ready when they said it would be or the prescription was never correct which ended up taking them time to contact my doctor to get it right. Almost always an hour wait after having had 30-45 minutes to fill it which was very inconvenient as I live 30 minutes away. They obviously do not communicate well with not only their customers but with other pharmacies because when my doctor accidentally sent my prescription over to safeway pharmacy (after i switched to another pharmacy) and my current pharamacy called to get the prescription from them they said they did not have it. Which then i had to call my doctors office back and they confirmed that they had indeed sent it to the safeway and that they would send a new on over to my current pharamacy. The whole thing could have saved me running through a few extra hoops if they had just looked more thoroughly for the prescription and gave it to my current pharamacy. And here i am a week later recieving a phone call from safeway saying my prescription was ready to be picked up after being told they did not have it 5 days ago. Needless to say i have NEVER had a good experience here and really think you guys need to get a whole new system down to provide fills and refills in a timely manner and be able to communicate better with not only doctors offices and other pharmacies but with your customers as well. read more
