There have been some personnel changes recently and in my opinion, it is an improvement. Billy, the new site manager is an added asset to this facility. He is very pleasant to communicate with and extremely helpful in handling any needs pertaining to my account and does so in a timely manner. He is also excellent in understanding how to find a solution to make my rental experience much easier and stress free. The facility is clean and secure and has ample space for parking and access to the entry doors. The only issue I have at all is the fact that the interior lights are on a timer and shut off after less than 10 minutes of no detected activity. In my case, one of my 2 units is 15 feet from the door to the back wall. When the light shuts off, it is pitch black. I have to carry a flashlight in my hand at all times to find my way to the door and wave my arms to get the lights to turn back on after detecting motion. It is very dangerous, especially for someone who is disabled and a senior. Also, my units are on the second floor and there is no cell signal unless you are on the ground floor. These are things that only corporate has control over. But the site manager Billy does an excellent job of helping the tenants to the best of his ability and if he had the authority, I am certain he would find solutions to the issues I mentioned. Unfortunately, the rental rate is more expensive for units on the first floor. As far as pricing, they are comparable to other self storage facilities in this section of Palm Coast.
