I do most my grocery shopping from Safeway online. But sometimes I go inside and actually shop. Clean bright store with friendly workers. Most cashiers are super nice once in awhile you get someone overworked and ready to go home but that's everywhere. When I pull up my groceries are loaded into my car usually with friendly staff.. ot today but I get that the poor girl didn't like working new years eve. I purchased a birthday cake here 2 days ago, and have been trying to make the time to finish this review. I had to throw away an ENTIRE cake Because the two pieces that were cut tasted like an old fridge that had been sitting. The reaction from the two slices cut was enough for my guests to decline have any of this grotesque taste. So, my $30 went to waste and cake straight to the trash. I've tried contacting the bakery about a fix to remedy this awful situation and have yet to hear back from Them. She went from being bitter to super excited to see him. You should always treat everyone with that same attitude! The day before, I had gone to the bakery and tried to order a cake, but they had very limited options then too. The guy there wasn't very helpful either. I ended up ordering cupcakes and went back that afternoon, hoping someone else could help me with ordering a cake. That's when I met the rude young lady. I needed wild caught seafood at the last minute I was expecting to pay a premium price. The butcher was very young and not entirely knowledgeable, but tried to help when I got to check out. Linda was a delight. She was super helpful. I had to download the app, she helped me with that. She made sure I was signed in Just a really personable kind lady definitely an asset for the company. This is a review for the Boar's Head: Sometimes the workers are nice and funny and sometimes grumpy and take forever to make a sandwich. I won't knock off any stars for this. The subtraction of three stars is from the pathetic quantity of meat and ingredients you get in a sandwich. With the amount of food you get, you might as well pay $1 to $2 more and head over to the Jersey Mike's in the same center. read more

We had order fried chicken for dinner. By the time we got home and right before we gave my toddler a piece of chicken, we had seen that it had a HUMAN DROP OF BLOOD on the chicken! Good thing we seen it or else who knows my kid would have gotten sick! The efficient service with the cashier and bagger just took about 5 minutes to get things done.

What a weird experience. It wasn't busy at all and there was two lanes with lights on but no checkers. I stood around then I walked past the register and asked the two ladies about 15 feet away if anyone was working these. Well the older lady with glasses looked upset because I interrupted her conversation. She then came over and rang me up. She refused eye contact and just grabbed the receipt and held it out looking the other way. I literally had not spoken a word because she was clearly not wanting to be working. Well I didn't want to be at the grocery store spending my money either. Her attitude was pretty rude. I've been to this store a lot and it's not cheap. I love Safeway! I just started shopping here earlier this year and I'm so happy I did! They have amazing deals every week and with the Safeway app I have received a bunch of bonus offers that save me extra money! I usually plan my trip out on the Safeway app and it makes my shopping trip much easier. It tells me if the item is in stock and what aisle I can find it on They recently remodeled some of store and I also love that they have security, especially when I'm shopping at night time. The cashiers have all been friendly. The only thing I wouldn't suggest is buying the pre-made cold cut sandwiches. I got an upset stomach the last time I bought one so I wouldn't take the risk of buying another. Other than that this store is great! But don't forgot to download the app and check all the coupons available. They update every week and have great deals that make items cheaper than other grocery stores around! read more

Got to be honest; I was unaware that dank refrigerator, is a flavor of birthday cake. Purchased this specially flavored cake not knowing it was "Extra" flavored and even scented with musty refrigerator flavoring. Some people may super enjoy this flavor and even appreciate the crusty, dried texture of white cake. I unfortunately am not one of those connoisseurs. I lack the intestinal fortitude to stomach such exotic flavors. I would recommend this grocery store; they have a lot of specialty items, from international to gluten free. Their floral department is one of the best I have ever seen in a grocery store type setting. The price of food is a higher than most other stores. I did take two stars away because customer service is huge to me & the way I rate an establishment. This store needs to improve on customer service; I waited at the meat counter for over 20 mins & never got help, two employees even looked at me neither even asked if I needed help. The deli guy was incredibly rude & not very competent in his work. The cashier was insanely unwelcoming.... She made me question how she even got the job. This guy "Abraham" helped me in the deli. I asked for two sandwiches to be made, both toasted. He seemed less than pleasant right off the bat because I asked for a specific type of meat, which he had to slice. I had already walked over to make sure it was available prior to asking him for it and he tried to tell me that he thinks they don't have it.. I pointed it out in their meat case and he grabbed it for me.. cool, maybe he just overlooked it at first. As he's making my sandwiches, he mentions there would be an extra charge for having them toasted. I agreed to that. I thought it was a little weird because no one has ever mentioned that to me before.. I asked what more they charge, out of curiosity. The guy next to him answered for him and said there would be a tax charge because it's considered hot food. I didn't get his name but he was very flamboyant, to put it nicely. Then, he mentioned something about EBT which really threw me off/annoyed me because why would you bring that up randomly? It felt like he was assuming something by saying that and I didn't care for it, so I corrected him to let him know I'm *not* using EBT. After that, I went to grab some drinks so that I could get the meal deal. Once I came back, both of the guys were talking and I heard the word "torta" mentioned.. the flamboyant one said "oh yeah, I haven't had a torta in a long time -- they're so good." It was the way he said it with like a smirk on his face that made me feel like he was using it as an insult towards me/talking sh*. Me my mom and my girlfriend went to this location with my mom's small dog we always bring her a mat to lay on and she's my mom's service dog so the karen of a manager comes up to my mom and said that they are going to have to disinfect the cart and my mom said that she is always supposed to do that regardless because of covid and other viruses and I told her that she shouldn't be talking to my mom like that she was being condescending towards my mom while we are shopping she needs to learn better customer service and how to treat elderly read more

I hate to give this store 1 star because I'm always here. And yes all my good experiences do get washed away with one very bad and Infuriating experience. I went there today to go shopping and I did the self check out. I payed for a cauliflower Crust pizza and I forgot it at the self checkout place. So I called the store and my goodness. What a damn mission. I was on hold for over 15 mins. Then got hung up on and then called back. Waited for another 5 mins and finally got through to someone and luckily over the phone it got taken care of. So I will change my 1 star review to a 2 Hopefully when I go there it's an easy process. I know it's my fault for forgetting an item. But damn... pick up the phone. I shouldn't have to connect myself to various departments to get through to the manager. read more
