She texted me the invoice a few days later and instructed me to show the text at pick up time. I went today to pick it up and the gentlemen knew about the order and promptly got it for me. He rang me up and i got the pretty lei! I also needed flowers for the centerpieces and they have a wide selection to choose from. My daughter and I found what we were looking for and left the store happy! Nowadays many salespeople and establishments don't have great customer service, for whatever reason. But today's service at Waipio Foodland was top notch. Props to Wilma, the gentlemen and the young lady at the customer service desk and the lady at the poke counter. They were all great and I might just start going to this Foodland more often now!

It would have been 1 star if not for me realizing, I should have done my own due diligence first. I figured to stop in early for a quick breakfast for my son and I. Rice cold and hard ish, tempura dry and stale. Maybe it was just the end piece. Grab a center piece and ahhhhhh. Maayyynnnn I just wasted my money and set me in a disappointed mood. So this is where I realize.....huh I may be partly responsible. I grabbed, ASSuME'g it would be fresh, but never checked the date. Turn over wrapper and tipped prepared yesterday. If not for my own fault this review would have been a 1. So I bumped them one star for my mistake. Still bad review as WHY are you selling day old sushi. It's terrible. Prices for merchandise are pretty high, like $30-50 for a medium Hello Kitty plush, but I guess everything in Hawaii is pretty expensive. But what we loved about this store was the grocery section. They had an amazing selection of grab-and-go foods. We had a scrumptious dinner of donburi, teriyaki chicken bento, tuna oniguri, bluefin otoro nigiri and more. Husband is here on a business trip, so work paid for our meals. Keeping up with the inventory is quite a feat at Donki stores--there's SO MUCH stuff! Definitely a fun place to walk around because there's so much to see. My husband and I agreed that it would be so awesome if there was a store like this closer to us in Rocklin.

It's a beautiful supermarket that nice and clean very well organized with displayed items neatly placed and the vibe here is just so calm and friendly I was just very impressed with it all knowing that I can purchase items already made before entering to shop is quite deceiving and tempting but is nice to know for busy folks that they do have you covered whether you're in a rush or just need a single ingredient this is the place to go and support all things local. We returned our poke bowls because our portions were noticeably smaller than those given to other customers. We ultimately chose pizza instead because we were not confident we would receive a properly portioned poke bowl. Pizza was fairly priced and we enjoyed the Goomba. There is an unpleasant odor in the facility. The atmosphere was busy and casual, as expected for a supermarket, but the service at the poke counter made the experience frustrating.

It tasted like old pork, funky, unclean, and edges were very tough. Skin was ok, but not as crackly as before. Limu poke was still good but the sweet onion poke was too salty and the spicy poke was too sweet. Poke slices were inconsistent, some were perfect poke squares and some were random sizes. Wasabi scallops were scrumptious! Rice was cooked perfectly. We always crave Alicia's when back in the homeland but the past 2 years were a miss. I want the old Alicia's back! Service is always good with very happy and pleasant folks. When entering the store, you go through a turnstile and approach a small counter to place your order, then pay at the register by the door.
