As I was entering the store an alarm went off and one of the front wheels locked up. I was briefly stuck in the entrance but I was able to drag the cart back outside. I left and went to Walmart instead. I usually go there twice a week but I'm not going to deal with ridiculous BS. I'll probably still go there on occasion but will start going to Walmart more.

There is still a wide variety of decent international staples, but it's highly focused on cult products and flavorings. Prepackaged and ultra-processed foods are becoming standard(s). Protein is down, carbs are up. There's still a reasonable variety of veggies, fresh, but not in wide abundance. Certain common items, like walnuts, go missing for long periods of time, and other items become seasonable and their shelf space is unreliable. So while it's still good, there is now wade through the weeds of products that are edge-case. Hail Mary Marketing attempts. I bristle.
