I tend to shop at a lot of different Fry's and this one by far has been one of the best locations I have shopped at. The store was extremely clean and well stocked everything I went in for I was able to purchase. Located right off the interstate, which is great since I don't live in the town where it's located Everything you need from groceries to even household appliances great sales, which start over every Wednesday be sure to clip your coupons the digital ones that is Parking ample as there are lots of different shops within this shopping plaza read more

Frey's in Sahuarita is my favorite local grocery store. I travel to shop there from Green Valley because it is so clean and so well-organized, I can find what I need but on the off chance that I cannot, the staff is always super friendly. There deli department is well-stocked with hot and cold foods for any occasion. They have a wing bar and a cheese department! They have an olive bar! Starbucks is within the store and their produce is so fresh and well-stocked! The pharmacy staff are kind and patient. They have clothing too!! One stop shopping makes it very convenient! Check it out when you're south of Tucson! read more

At first glance Fry's monthly, personalized coupons seemed incredible. That was before I realized that prices were raised on the items resulting in paying more for the item while using the coupon. Be careful purchasing fresh meat on sale. I've brought home bad smelling meat too many times before the pandemic curation date. The gas stations are usually between 10-20 cents more expensive than necessary offsetting the "discount". Also the membership is supposed to be free (normally $65) if you have the Fry's credit card. Well, I do, and they still charged me. I cancelled. Save your money. You can do better elsewhere. read more

We call these the Disney Fry's that have everything in them and this one is huge. They have everything but the wine bar like the one in Oro Valley. Love checking out all the difference options they carry. The one thing I will say is that the self checkouts are all either broken or overly secure. I was helping my daughter bag her stuff and every few items it made us stop and wait on an associate. WTH, never again I will wait on full server next time. There were 6 self checkouts and the poor girl was running to all of them. Is it really better nope. read more

They bag groceries totally incorrectly, putting chicken with popsicles and other meat and snacks and vegetables, fruit so on they also put it all in the same bag that way when you pick it up it just all falls out also, if you try to let a manager know, they very literally ignore you. This place is just like every other full of incompetent workers and even more incompetent managers. read more

We have been shopping at this store for a few years since moving to the area. We were almost cheated on today when the cashier FAILED?! To scan our VIP (?!) card and several discounts were not included in our purchase! When asked for assistance, we were sent to costumer service desk. After waiting in line for more than 10 minutes at the cashier, we reached the costumer service and waited again just to be told that one of the costumer service desk staff members was done for the day and had to wait for the one staff member left. Long story short, this person told us that it was going to take at least 30 minutes to complete the return and re-scan all of our items (?!) to get the discounted prices. We ask for the manager (big mistake!). This so call FD manager, Alicia, came to assist. She was rude and took her sweet time re-scanning one item at the time. BTW, I had shoulder surgery a few weeks back and she almost caused me significant pain and injury when she threw a grocery bag directly at my injured shoulder. I could not believe it!!!! Costumers, be aware that while checking out you need to make sure that your bill reflects the price and the discounts you were expecting as advertised by the store. Fry's SHAME ON YOU! read more

Although we are generally satisfied with most things in this store, we were very disappointed today! Partly our fault that we did a pickup order in advance, but within our order we had ordered the T-bones on sale advertised as Choice grade. I've been in the meat industry for over 40 years and this product was not even close to Choice! Not even the lower end of Choice. They need to take a look at their supplier, they got ripped off. The butchers can't help what is sent to them and zi hope they are knowledgeable and they complain. There is not one speck of marbling in this steak! Even on sale, two steaks cost us $36.93. Reg price was listed at $16.99 a pound. They were advertised at $7.99 a pound, yet we were charged $10.99 a pound according to the tag. Very concerning read more

Cheers to 'Carmen' the Wine Department Manager ! She is so friendly and gracious all the time! Always willing to help and will place special wine orders for us all the time! The store manager is lucky to have such a wonderful person managing that department! Cheers! read more

When I arrived it was really busy and there were no carts available. So went to the parking lot and got a cart, which I have done in the past. As I was entering the store an alarm went off and one of the front wheels locked up. I was briefly stuck in the entrance but I was able to drag the cart back outside. I left and went to Walmart instead. I usually go there twice a week but I'm not going to deal with ridiculous BS. I'll probably still go there on occasion but will start going to Walmart more. read more

By far my favorite Frys! It's pretty brand new to South Tucson. Very, very clean! Easy to find your way around store. I love how friendly the staff is! They always ask if you need help finding something and I really appreciate that. Checkout is pretty fast too since they have the self checkouts! I love using the Frys app and downloading digital coupons to save money on my grocery runs! They also have special discount days for seniors (my parents always use their senior discounts)! Happy shopping! read more

On the expensive side. This is actually a Kroger's store. Fry's does not have ready-to-eat/heat meals which was disappointing. Meats: Ground beef is poorly labeled. For example, ground chuck (beef grade) doesn't exist. There also is no labels for ground sirloin, ground round, etc. They just label the grade, ie 80/20 etc. So, 80/20 is actually the lean/fat content of ground chuck but is it 100% chuck roast that is ground? Who knows?! In general, the store in Sahuarita is well stocked with good variety. The produce section is good. Prices are a bit high but not as high as Safeway. read more

This is a pretty fine store, all considered. It's clear that the employee shortage is affecting their ability to provide the top notch customer service that most of us expect, and all of us deserve. Often checkout lines are very long. The parking lot, though ample, is usually chaotic. The overall selection is admirable, but keeping in line with shortages, often product is unavailable. Very recently, my spouse and I had several negative encounters with a person named Brooke, in the pharmacy. This person is somewhat unsocialized, doesn't belong in any position, especially that of pharmacy, in dealing with customers. If you do have a bad encounter with Brooke, be sure to inform the pharmacist on duty, as well as the store manager. read more

I stopped here to see if they have fair life chocolate milk small bottles. I found the big ones. So I wanted to eat something healthy with minimal carbohydrates so I decided to try the seafood snickers. It was good and cold. The place was very busy for Saturday afternoon but people were in and out quickly. They have many is self check. Replace the screen. And put parking. Several green trees in the parking lot. Please offering shades for the car. read more

Well, I guess this is now my neighborhood supermarket. Not bad! We don't have these in Kommiefornia and I didn't know what I was missing. They have everything from an electronic section, porch and deck furniture, clothes, and of course food. Selection is vast. I love how many self-checkouts they have and they actually work worth a darn. The store is clean and the prices are pretty good. All in all, I scored living near here. Pharmacy and deli as well. read more

I moved from out of state and didn't know what Fry's was. I thought it was an electronics store, like in San Diego. It's a fantastic grocery store, plus so much more. A family member came for the weekend and ended up buying $600.00 of clothing and shoes. This store has a little of everything here, but a far cry from Wal Mart. With a Fry's card it ended up saving her $200.00. I also love my gas points. Great Job Fry's. I recommend shopping there! read more

This is not your typical Fry's. This is a gourmet Fry's. Why do the suburbanites get all the fun?! I think the first time I ever visited this grocery store was something like three years ago. I think I was passing through to go hiking, and stopped in for snacks. I was instantly impressed by the size and selection. Seriously, if you're traveling down Interstate 19 for any reason whatsoever I would highly recommend you stop in. Even if it's to browse around. For foodies, this is going to feel like visiting a world famous market. It's almost like Indy 500 for drivers. Or the Louvre for historians. Or Six Flags Magic Mountain for young thrill seekers. Every single section is nicely organized. And they have a ton of specialty items. They even have a section for the outdoors and home improvement. Are you serious?! In a grocery store? Why yes. This is the elite of the Fry's family. It's almost like Safeway and AJ's coupled up and made a baby. They even have sushi chefs that work on site. Sushi chefs, people! OK, the sushi isn't 100 percent AbFab, but is the best sushi I've ever picked up from a grocery store. For sure. read more

Of all the Fry's stores, this one's the best. (Maybe I'm a bit biased on this one, because it's the closest grocery store to my house...lol ) The place is always clean and organized, and the people are always friendly & courteous and willing to help. I think what makes this Fry's stand out is that most of the workers also live in the area, so they take pride in their work and the store itself. This Fry's has a Starbuck's inside, a Sushi Chef, a full Deli, a Garden Center, and a Pharmacy. One stop shopping for everything (they've got a nice little electronics & book section, and home furnishing section too). It's Fry's, so you'll always find great deals on your groceries and more. I like it when they have their coupon deal: use a coupon, doesn't matter how much off it is, they'll take off a $1 on the item! I also love their fuel rewards program, where you get 10 cents off a gallon of gas when you spend at least $100. Rewards can add up! You can use these rewards not only at the Fry's Fuel locations, but at Shell & Circle K gas stations too! Pretty cool, so make sure to sign up if you haven't already! Overall, Fry's Food is a great place to shop. =) read more

This store has a great selection of gluten free food and they have made pick up free during COVID 19. Just order your stuff on line and then go to the store at your selected time and pick it up. They have the same great stuff and prices and they bring it right out to your car. I've enjoyed shopping at this store in person too but really appreciate store pickup. read more

I'm not sure what is going on but the customer service they are used to be exceptional. I was in line around 20 minutes till closing the teenage girls name was Ashley but her tag said Ash, anyWho I go to put my items on the conveyor she's having a full-blown conversation with the bagger ,didn't greet me didn't ask for my number and started cussing and talking bad about how Fry's treats their employees that she hates this F 'N job , continues & to curse in front of me, this was mind blowing for two reasons, one reason is because she's letting the whole world know that she hates her job and could care less about what other people think about her ( Obviously) Second & doesn't care The image of Fry's . If you don't like your job then get another one. I ended up calling the manager on duty that evening and she didn't really seem to care about the whole situation and said she would give me a call back to follow up that was two months ago and I'm still waiting for a follow up phone call. read more

Fry's is a 10 minute drive longer than Safeway in Green Valley, but is well worth the drive. I offer a subjective guess that I save easily 10-15% at Fry's. In addition, for years Fry's has saved seniors an additional 10% on the first Wednesday of each month. Safeway only recently played ("Johnny Come Lately") and did the same. I CAN afford the difference and can pay it, but why? Seniors should be able to save wherever they can, and Safeway doesn't look out for our best interests. read more

My check out experience was awful to say the least Cashier Sandy was extremely rude and what she did I thought completely uncalled for. My Husband and I were buying soda that was on sale 10 for 10 kroger brand 2 liter bottles and the digital coupon for 5 name brand 2 liters She went out of her way to flag down the manager and pointed to all the soda on the conveyer belt, his comment was "ya that is a lot of soda" and walked away. I asked her what the problem was, is there a limit and she said nothing!! continued scanning and then made the comment " looks like you're not going to go thirsty!" and rolled her eyes while shaking her head. Her job is to scan out the items and collect our money not to comment and make judgement on what people are purchasing TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! read more

Not often i review a grocery store, but the LUCKY 300TH REVIEW IS FOR YOU, FRY'S!!! Im originally from calizuela, erm, commiefornia, erm the left coast...we have Raley's out there, and using the same idea, Frys has created a great little mecca under the ownership of Kroger's. Too much good stuff, love the produce, deli, sushi stand, seafood counter... Great prices throughout the store. Not sure i would buy clothes at a grocery store, but they have a fashion line. Lol... One of my favorite things about Frys is the over abundance of friendly staff, in the aisles, in the departments, at checkout...the people working here actually seem to like working here, everyone smiles, and that's a plus!! If you don't have a Frys near you, move somewhere that has a Frys... See you at Frys, everyone!! read more

BEWARE: If you have Medicare Advantage you cannot get a Pfizer booster shot here. My wife and I made appointment online. When we showed up they asked for photo ID, insurance card and previous vaccine card. We presented all three. They came back and asked for our red, white and blue medicare card. We explained that we were not issued a red, white and blue Medicare as Medicare advantage insurance card takes the place of the regular Medicare card. We were directed years ago to discard the other card. They continued to insist that we produce the other card and would not accept the Medicare Advantage card. We have used the Medicare Advantage card at Walgreens, CVS, Banner for major surgeries etc and never were asked for an additional card. read more

This Frys has an issue with customer service. There are employees that are so fabulous, and I look for them when I shop. There are others who are just rude and cold. When I go to the customer service counter, they seem to care less about your concern like it isn't their problem. read more

I like Fry's Food. The employees are generally helpful and pleasant. They seem to be on the cutting edge of technology, now, competing nicely with other grocery stores. I have severe back problems & one of the hardest things for me was walking through the store shopping for groceries. I hated standing in front of the deli waiting for my lunchmeats and cheeses to be packaged up. Some days it would take upwards of an hour of standing on their cement floors waiting at the deli. However, now they have Clicklist! I love Clicklist! I can sit, stand, walk, or even lay down in the comfort of my own home and shop for what I need using their website or their app. Once my order is sent, I just have to show up at the designated time to pick up my groceries. The people who work in Clicklist are friendly and thoughtful. They always seem to go the extra mile by thinking through ideas of how to replace an item that is out of stock. When I'm sitting there in my truck, they show me what they had to substitute, what they had no idea what to substitute with, or what other things they were able to help me with. I love it! Clicklist saves me from having to use their checkout lines. That there is another time suck that kills my back! read more

Fry's pharmacy has always been basically disappointing from the first time I came here a year ago. I moved from out of town and unfortunately, the next closest pharmacy is too far out of the way. I am giving Fry's two stars instead of one because the customer service is ok, sub par but not the absolute worst. The wait time no matter time of day, day of week or how many people are behind the counter is the worst I have ever experience of any Pharmacy. They also will tell you a prescription will be ready at a specific time and it doesn't happen 75% of the time. However, if you have nothing planned and the patience to stand in line for an unreasonable amount of time and don't mind a staff that is not overly friendly this is your Pharmacy!! I am sure without a doubt most of their patrons stay because there is nothing close in Rancho Sahuarita. Fry's... I know you can do much better!! read more

This pharmacy has alot to improve. They never have anything in stock. I am on a pain med for chronic pain. My Dr called in a prescription Monday, 3 hours later we dropped by to pick it up. Guess what...out of stock. I had only 1 pill left. They told me they had a shipment coming in Wed. Well here it is Friday..still no shipment. I have been in terrible pain since Tuesday. Can't sleep. This is unacceptable . They suggested I call my Dr to cancel that order, so we could go elsewhere. Good luck on that, my clinic take 48 hours to answer calls. I can't believe that this place hasn't been reviewed yet. I've only been here once (I went to Arizona for the second time in my life some time ago), but it left quite an impression. The store is huge and unique. It's like a Safeway, Barnes & Noble (I would say Borders, but there are fewer locations now), and IKEA in one. You can buy groceries, peruse through the nice selection of books (I don't just love to write, but read- the two go hand in hand, like Paris Hilton and dumb blonde jokes), or look at the furniture. Because it's a large grocery store, you're also going to save some money. The line I was in also didn't have any food dividers (they fell in a hard to reach spot). The cashier also forgot to give my wife our change at first (she was distracted by my mother-in-law). This was all understandable, though (the cashier was a little embarrassed by her gaffe). The only thing I don't like about the store are the narrow aisles (only some of them are this way). You can't really walk through these aisles if other shoppers are there. The store is very popular, and it should be. If we lived in the area, my wife and I would go here regularly too. read more

Seriously one of the coolest grocery stores around! Not only is it huge and well-stocked, but it's like a major shopping experience! Given the fact that the shopping options are fairly limited in Sahuarita, this place is stocked with your "not so normal grocery store" items. Within this huge Fry's Marketplace it seems like you have a nursery, a furniture store, a farmers market, groceries, a great beer selection, and MORE. This place is just amazing and the customer service is spectacular. No need for much more if you have this type of Fry's Marketplace close to you! P.S. Kudos on the decor! read more

Fry's.... on steroids. I have never walked into a bigger Fry's in my life. Seriously. If a zombie invasion happens, I suggest you head here. Food and groceries? Yes. Patio furniture? Big Screen TV? Decorations? Check. Everything is here. It's like, that movie "Idiocracy" where they walk into the Costco of the future and it's miles of everything. That's what you get at this Fry's.
