I own a 2014 Lexus LS 460. I am rebuilding this car after it had been in an accident, and 3 out of the 4 seat belts locked up. I also bought a parts Lexus to grab parts off of to control my costs. However, when it came to the rear seat belts, it was definitely not a do-it-yourself job as the belts couldn't be swapped out with the ones in my parts Lexus because the seat belts were different colors. Needless to say, I searched online for used seat belts, and they would've cost me $840 to replace them. I found this company, Safety Restore, on Ebay, and they mentioned they repair belts for a fraction of the cost, around $50/each. Almost all positive reviews I read, and a few negative. The negative had to do with shipping times and it taking longer than expected. However, I am aware that airbags, and these seat belts need to be shipped a different method because of the hazardous content in them, so naturally they would take longer. I tried calling them, but they really were busy, so I recommend texting them. There is a number they provide that you can text them. Just to verify that they are legitimate, I texted them, and they texted me right back and gave me easy instructions to add a note inside my package with the eBay order number. I shipped my belts to arrive on a Friday, and then I surprisingly received it back on the following Tuesday. I think Safety Restore is based in Massachusetts, and I am in Las Vegas. I was very surprised to get them back so quickly. I took the car to the Lexus dealership to reset the codes, and happily, they cleared all the codes out. I am driving my car now. I am taking the time to write this lengthy post because I think they are a truly honest and reliable company. When I looked them up on Google Maps, they appear to have a small building, but that means their costs are also lower. We bought a used truck in December that had been in a minor accident and it had a "Service Engine Soon" light on. I took it to my local repair shop and they gave me the list of service codes that were in the computer, most were SRS codes. The first step was to get the pre-tensioners done. The dealer gave me a quote of over $900.00 (parts and labor) so to eBay I went! I found SafetyRestore there offering their services, what did I really have to loose? So I sent them off and got them rebuilt. After installation and getting the control unit done (btw, SafetyRestore actually REFUNDED my price on that because - contrary to what the dealership told me - it was fine and it NOT need replaced), I still had a flash code. Honestly, this is one of the most satisfying purchases I've made. All the times I change items on the car that I don't always get to see or feel, but having something that I touch and see every time I drive just feels more satisfying than a hugely expensive purchase. Be carefully when you deal with this company. I had very bad experience with this company. I had ordered service to fix my seat belts on my Toyota Prius. They promiced that they will fix them in a week. They took my money from my credit card. I sent them my airbag and recieved note from my shipping company that they were delivered. After one month, I called them asking where are my seat belts. They checked in computer that they received, but they can't find them. After many callers back and forth I finally was able to talk with their manager. He promiced me that will take care. I started calling every single day to figure out when I will be able to receive my seat belts. They just disconnected the phone when they learned that I am calling. Two month later, finally I was able to talk with their manager. He told me that they were not able to find, and told me to buy others, promicing to reamberce my money. I bought used seat belts and sent them receipt for reambercement. They told me to wait for check via mail. Five month passed I till now did not receive seat backs, money, nor reimbursement from them. At first I wanted to sue this company, but my time is more expencieve then those money I lost. read more

Fast turn around time! Safety Restore always emails me to let me know when they have received my parts for repair and also when the parts are completed and on the way back. My dog has chewed through my seatbelt THREE times now (see craigslist ad for free dog to good home). Safety restore is the perfect solution because they use OEM parts and I was able to mail the entire seatbelt set up to them, use my existing tensioner and buckles and only pay to replace the webbing (with new webbing identical to the original). The dealership quoted me over 5 times more than Safety Restore because the dealership would only replace the entire seatbelt set up even though only one part was damaged. I was in an insignificant accident but three of my seatbelts locked up in my Mercedes C300. I YouTubed a video on how to take them out, I'm a couple of hours away from their place so I drove and got after 5pm.
