I hesitated but being that Big Jim's was recommended by friends, and had great reviews on Yelp so I decided to have them do the work. I hadn't expected it to be a costly repair but Big Jim's quote was less than Ira Lexus for replacing the fender. I also decided that while my vehicle was in their shop, I had them touch up other areas with minor dents and scratches. their team member, Steve, was kind to give me a ride home after I dropped off my vehicle, who was pleasant and friendly. Jamie had advised they would have my vehicle for up to 3 days so I was pleasantly surprised when Jamie called me just a little more than 24hrs after dropping it off, advising that my car was ready! Steve brought my vehicle to me & I then gave him a ride back to the shop. my car looks absolutely fabulous! They repaired the dents and scratches as I'd requested and the fender looks great! they also washed the exterior, and my car looks like new! From beginning to end my experience with Big Jim's in Beverly was pleasant and in all my interactions with Jamie & his staff I found them to be considerate and professional, and they provided stellar customer service. After test drive I went in to do the financing. All during the process I kept telling the dealer that I have loan approval with my companies credit union and that the rate was really good. I told them the rate they said they were very competitive and could probably beat that rate. I did a credit app and was handed over to the finance guy who would ultimately become the deal breaker for me. Right away this guy has me down at astronomical loan rate I asked what did my credit come back as this is extremely, way higher than the rate I told them I already had with my company's credit union. He said we shouldn't use that because they can't hold the car and that it could be sold at anytime while we wait for the check. Then he said just refinance. This is the part that pissed me off. He said you can just refinance right away, but it would help me if you waited 6 months first; but you could do whatever you want. Irritating. Also trying to sell all these warranties I could care less for. I had to walk away from this guy; I told the original salesman that I was going to back out. The salesman, finance guy, and manager had a huddle meeting. Came back to me trying to persuade me to use their lien holder. The finance guy and salesguy were upset with eachother. The salesguy told me that this guy has had problems in the past with other customers, this wasn't the first time. So far very unprofessional stuff happening to me at this dealership. I stood my ground I just wanted to use my company's credit union because the loan came with benefits for me and they couldn't match the rate. Finally we decided we'd go with my lienholder and a purchase agreement was drafted and sent to my company's credit union. I got in my car and prepared for my long trip home, the finance guy called me and made one last attempt offering me a rate lower than the rates he said he couldn't go lower than before. This is all smoke and mirrors just constantly lying to me like its ok and common for people to be deceitful. I said its too late at this point, the rate wasn't lower than the rate I had anyway and that I had to start driving I was behind schedule. He sat silent for like 30secs then said ok bye. The next morning I am home now and got the most predictable text message in the world that somebody came and bought the car last night and thanks/nice to meet you/blah blah. These guys are deceitful. They just want to cash in on the financing of the car they sell to you so if you have good credit avoid this place they don't want customers like you. Financing guys name is Benjamin - Enjoy. Oh and when we first pulled up someone from the service shop, an older gentlemen with grey hair was smoking weed right in front of the service garage entrance. My son kept asking what the smell was.

I brought my car in for a full interior and exterior detail, and honestly, I wasn't sure it could be saved. It's parked outside with no garage, right under a tree, so the exterior was absolutely disgusting. When I picked it up, it looked brand new. They spent hours on it, even going over my rims and wheel wells with a toothbrush. They shampooed the carpets, steam cleaned every seat, and even steam cleaned my child's booster seat. Every nook, crack, and cranny was spotless. For the amount of time and care they put in, the price was a steal. You won't find a better value anywhere. Let me explain: I had a car accident in Georgia and the insurance company and their "preferred" repair shop in GA wanted my car to be a total loss. When I brought my car up here, repair shops took forever just to look at my car. Was it repairable, was it totaled? Who knew? So, I checked out Yelp and read the great reviews for J&A. I was skeptical and didn't really believe my luck would change but at this point what did I have to lose. Below is my summery: 1) They never over-promissed but they over-delivered 2) Eric felt like an older brother looking after my best interested with my very difficult insurance agency. I have no idea how much of his time he spent back and forth with them to ensure my insurance company stepped up so my car could be repaired in a timely manner. 3) Eric kept me posted every step of the way and was honest about where everything was in the process. 4) Eric was so incredible knowledgeable - seriously! Wow! 5) My car came out soooooo gorgeous! Everyone thinks it looks better than it did when I purchased it. No one would ever know it was in an accident. I will use them again and again whenever I need anything done. I only wish they worked on houses ;-) I keep telling everyone. My only fear is they'll be so busy they won't have time for me. They quoted me a price and described in detail exactly what they'd be doing. They take off all of the seals and stuff on the car so that the paint job will last, so it's a little more expensive than other places, but I decided to save up for this better quality work and just do it. I'm *so so so* happy!! My car looks better than the day I bought it on those panels. The paint color perfectly matches the rest of the car. They even detailed the inside for free and touched up other spots on the car. They were super nice and very responsive through the whole process. If you're thinking of going somewhere else to save some money, don't. These guys are awesome.
