You are conveniently leaving out of your reply a lot of things that we have already talked about. 1. No mention by you at all of the alignment issue. The shop I took it to said it was "as far out of alignment as any we have seen". Due to lack of quality and quality control, you gave me back a dangerous vehicle. If I had picked up the car to drive it the ten hours home rather than shipping it, the tire would have shredded and could have easily resulted in a high-speed accident. You have spoken to the shop that I took it to. You know this. I am attaching a picture of what the alignment shop found. You replaced the tie rods on that wheel - did someone forget to tighten something? 2. I have discussed the body work issues with your shop. I thought we agreed that it is ridiculous to think that something happened after it left your shop, to the exact same spot they were supposed to repair. Without a single mark anywhere else on the car. Your pictures are in my original review. They are worthless and there is no way you can see if anything was there or not. It was there when you sent it out and any decent QC would have seen it. I spotted it while merely looking at the washer fluid reservoir repair that you completely botched. We learned today from the shop that you recommended here that it can't be fixed by dentless paint repair. I paid for that repair out of pocket, outside of the insurance claim. I paid all that you asked, didn't get any bargain. You should pay that back. Or continue to refuse to take responsibility for your poor work. 3. Windshield washer reservoir... unbelievably bad work, with no oversight. Your technician failed to attach a grommet that holds a seal in place. All the fluid leaks out as soon as the car moves. It was never checked or they would have known that. I took it to a shop to fix it, only to learn later that the dash warning light for it would not turn off. Found out today that your shop reattached the sensor UPSIDE DOWN. Isn't that embarrassing? You say they drove the car after the repairs - I think they would have noticed a bright yellow warning light on the dash. It is hard to miss. Maybe the sun was too bright, or maybe... it was getting close to lunchtime or quitting time and they didn't check it. 4. No, you haven't paid for dentless paint removal (couldn't be done) and you haven't paid for all of the extra days of car rental. You paid for three. $150 is your limit, as you told me several times. My insurance company has committed to pay for three more, and I paid for three and then returned the rental before I got my car back so that I could stop the bleeding. 5. Communication has been the worst I have ever experienced from a customer service organization. I have been told so many times they will "call me right back" only to wait hours or days for that call. The latest came when I spent my own time to get the alignment fixed. I called Tony at your shop to confirm that he was paying the bill and was told to have the shop call him for payment. After waiting my turn and getting the news about the poor condition of the alignment, the shop did call Tony and he said he would "call right back". After 15 minutes of waiting and getting tired of the cartoons playing for the kids in the waiting room, I called your shop. I was very surprised to be told that Tony had gone to lunch. How nice for him. When I did reach him by phone, after his lunch, he said he didn't know I was waiting at the shop...... seriously.

There's a gentlemen in Hudson named Holden who is very professional, really knows auto glass and always does a great job. One important thing to know. With all the electronics built into auto windshields these days, you need someone who can replace your windshield and calibrate the electronics. Service staff "refused to use the front tires at all because they were too badly worn" so we were faced with buying 4 tires. Because the front tires were only 6 months old we held off on the appointment and drove back to Firestone figuring they must have a warranty for those "bad" 6 month old tires. Firestone examined them and said there was NOTHING wrong with the front tires! We only needed the 2 back tires replaced that were few years older. I went to Tint World first, and they quoted me $992 "after discounts" for the same package I got here at Sun Control for a much better price. That alone made me feel good about my decision, but the experience sealed the deal. This isn't my first time coming here--on my last car, I got their entry-level tint, which was decent for adding some privacy. But this time, I went with XPEL XR Prime Plus, and the difference is insane. If you've looked into XPEL, you already know it's top-tier and comes with great benefits, but what really stood out was the team at Sun Control. They're super easy to work with, clearly focused on making sure you're happy, and they had my whole car done in about 3 hours, including the front and back windshields. What really impressed me was their attention to detail. My car has a third brake light that's inside the rear windshield. Without me even asking, they hand-cut the tint, and it looks perfect--like it came from the factory that way. No rough edges, no misalignment, just clean and precise work, leaving the light bright and visible. That level of care isn't something you get everywhere, and it makes a huge difference. I can see other shops disregarding something like this; and I wouldn't even have noticed. The door also did not seal properly with the bottom of the shower and leaked excessively. Sadly, the shower curtain we used from the dollar store in the interim worked better than the substandard work of Jay from Ryan and Gordy's. Over the past six months, we received two promises that the necessary parts were on order, one visit that resulted in a commitment to order more parts, and two no-call no, no-show appointments. We found these guys through our contractor, and we foolishly paid them before they completed the repairs, believing they would stand by the work. They did not. Although their scores are reasonably high overall, please read the reviews carefully as they have many weak scores, most of which revolve around shower door installation. I suspect Jay's brand of substandard effort is commonplace at this company. I cannot caution people enough to avoid these guys--they simply provide terrible service.
