The information said the car would be ready within three hours. I don't have the receipt so I misplaced our techs name, however, we dropped off the car and the tech was waiting and ready for us. He came out to check the car, took the keys and said the car would be ready in 2 to 3 hours. Very nice and professional. The storefront was very clean, had coffee available and clean restrooms. Within the three hours he called and confirmed the car was ready. We picked up the car, insurance took care of the windshield and Windshield looks great! Overall the process was easy and we had a nice experience. I would recommend Safelight Hudson.

I am glad you are satisfied with all that has been done - it really confirms what I have said about…read morethe service I have received from your shop. I am not at all satisfied, and that should matter to you. I never said I was upset by the six weeks it took to fix it, I am saying that it should be enough time to do the job right. You are conveniently leaving out of your reply a lot of things that we have already talked about. 1. No mention by you at all of the alignment issue. The shop I took it to said it was "as far out of alignment as any we have seen". Due to lack of quality and quality control, you gave me back a dangerous vehicle. If I had picked up the car to drive it the ten hours home rather than shipping it, the tire would have shredded and could have easily resulted in a high-speed accident. You have spoken to the shop that I took it to. You know this. I am attaching a picture of what the alignment shop found. You replaced the tie rods on that wheel - did someone forget to tighten something? 2. I have discussed the body work issues with your shop. I thought we agreed that it is ridiculous to think that something happened after it left your shop, to the exact same spot they were supposed to repair. Without a single mark anywhere else on the car. Your pictures are in my original review. They are worthless and there is no way you can see if anything was there or not. It was there when you sent it out and any decent QC would have seen it. I spotted it while merely looking at the washer fluid reservoir repair that you completely botched. We learned today from the shop that you recommended here that it can't be fixed by dentless paint repair. I paid for that repair out of pocket, outside of the insurance claim. I paid all that you asked, didn't get any bargain. You should pay that back. Or continue to refuse to take responsibility for your poor work. 3. Windshield washer reservoir... unbelievably bad work, with no oversight. Your technician failed to attach a grommet that holds a seal in place. All the fluid leaks out as soon as the car moves. It was never checked or they would have known that. I took it to a shop to fix it, only to learn later that the dash warning light for it would not turn off. Found out today that your shop reattached the sensor UPSIDE DOWN. Isn't that embarrassing? You say they drove the car after the repairs - I think they would have noticed a bright yellow warning light on the dash. It is hard to miss. Maybe the sun was too bright, or maybe... it was getting close to lunchtime or quitting time and they didn't check it. 4. No, you haven't paid for dentless paint removal (couldn't be done) and you haven't paid for all of the extra days of car rental. You paid for three. $150 is your limit, as you told me several times. My insurance company has committed to pay for three more, and I paid for three and then returned the rental before I got my car back so that I could stop the bleeding. 5. Communication has been the worst I have ever experienced from a customer service organization. I have been told so many times they will "call me right back" only to wait hours or days for that call. The latest came when I spent my own time to get the alignment fixed. I called Tony at your shop to confirm that he was paying the bill and was told to have the shop call him for payment. After waiting my turn and getting the news about the poor condition of the alignment, the shop did call Tony and he said he would "call right back". After 15 minutes of waiting and getting tired of the cartoons playing for the kids in the waiting room, I called your shop. I was very surprised to be told that Tony had gone to lunch. How nice for him. When I did reach him by phone, after his lunch, he said he didn't know I was waiting at the shop...... seriously.

It wasn't until after they painted it when they added up all the cost and told me the two estimates they gave me one was for painting the hood and one was just for the fenders. I wish they would have given me the estimates i asked for in the beginning. I never had this issue with the three other shops I received estimates from. Not only that but my clear coat was still soft after three days and I had a small scratch, but the manager said that's normal... The best advice I have for this company is they should always tell the customer the grand total before performing work. I really wish that I would have went with a different shop that would have done more work for less $

Service staff "refused to use the front tires at all because they were too badly worn" so we were faced with buying 4 tires. Because the front tires were only 6 months old we held off on the appointment and drove back to Firestone figuring they must have a warranty for those "bad" 6 month old tires. Firestone examined them and said there was NOTHING wrong with the front tires! We only needed the 2 back tires replaced that were few years older. At the time I did know he was the "manager" I went outside to look at it all but the windshield had some scratches on it. Mind you I worked at a competitors shop with wraps window tinting ceramic coating you name it. I was a quality control/ product ordering manager for them. So I know what "cut" windows from tinting looks like. I went back inside still no apologies for how long it was taking nothing. the receptionist asked if everything was ok I told him what I saw a lady that was at the desk with him got up and went to get the manager. he came to the front and asked what was wrong I told him. We went out side I showed him the scratches. he said the only reason they were visible now was because of how dark the tint is. Turned around and went back inside. still no acknowledgment about how long it took or anything. I then talked to the receptionist again. He asked me if the manager took care of everything. I told him no said that nothing was wrong and it was because of the how dark the tint was. At this point the manager didn't introduce himself to a new customer acted like had done nothing wrong and look like he was more irritated about what has happened instead of taking care of the customer Mind you still no apology. I paid for a job that was half a$$3d and by the manager no less. I then left not satisfied with the work more irritated than anything. Kinda explains what took soon long with the tint. It shouldn't take but a couple of hours to do the job and by a "manager" probably less time. I'm wondering if he was trying to fix his screw up in the time. Got a text a day later asking to leave a comment about my service. Did so it was negative of course. Later that day I got another text from someone named sunny. Told them what had happened they asked if I could take pictures of the windows in doing so I had noticed now my rear passenger headrest was sitting kind of funny went to go adjust it and put it back down in doing so it came off the posts. Im now line wtf seriously not only had this guy cut up my windows he destroyed the head rest also. Before they say oh that was done previously no It actually wasnt. No body rides in the back I have no reason to move the head rest at all. Sent pictures told sunny about this crickets now they were so quick to try to help and now I was ghosted. Its Wednesday now when sunny was texting me. Gave them till Monday the 27th still no word so I texted sunny back Tuesday the 28th still nothin. So frustrated about this not on am I out 5 very expensive windows now I have to order the headrest from Germany that going to cost 500+ shipping and taxes. Thanks suncontrol first and last time going there.

Jay attempted to install our glass shower door this March. Unfortunately, during his effort, he…read morechipped the top part of the glass and failed to tighten the screws adequately, which resulted in the door needing continual adjustment. The door also did not seal properly with the bottom of the shower and leaked excessively. Sadly, the shower curtain we used from the dollar store in the interim worked better than the substandard work of Jay from Ryan and Gordy's. Over the past six months, we received two promises that the necessary parts were on order, one visit that resulted in a commitment to order more parts, and two no-call no, no-show appointments. We found these guys through our contractor, and we foolishly paid them before they completed the repairs, believing they would stand by the work. They did not. Although their scores are reasonably high overall, please read the reviews carefully as they have many weak scores, most of which revolve around shower door installation. I suspect Jay's brand of substandard effort is commonplace at this company. I cannot caution people enough to avoid these guys--they simply provide terrible service.
