Over the years I have used this Safelite location. I've been there and they have come to my home to fix windshields. Never once have the employees been anything but excellent. Today, I had to drop my car off to replace the windshield because the gizmos need calibration in the shop. - can't do this is a driveway and the process takes 3-4 hours from start to finish. No problem. I drop it off around 9AM. They call me later and let me know the car is ready for pickup. The car is out front and I notice the toll sticker is there and looks undamaged. "Huh, I wonder how they did that..." While paying the deductible, I ask how they managed transferring the sticker. Well, they stuck a new sticker on, contacted Expresstoll and transferred everything for me. I don't have to do anything - all taken care of. How awesome is that? Windshield is prefect, BTW. Oh, they give a can of their window cleaner. Best stuff ever. read more

I need a new windshield and wanted to go to the W. Quincy Ave location in Lakewood. I've been very happy with their work in the past. But I changed my mind and went with another company. There's no phone number to call and talk to a person. The only option to communicate is a chat bot that that gives you two links with long legal-lingo (my mother's maiden name? F that). Final update: So the only peep I heard from Safelite was some representative of their corporate team who contacted me via Yelp. He messaged that someone from Safelite would be contacting me, but that was months ago and I still haven't been contacted. They have my phone number, email address, and home address, but still nothing. I gave up on Safelite altogether and decided to take my business to Native Auto Glass in Evans. Native was great. They installed OEM (Mopar) glass, which the lady at Safelite's front desk told me they couldn't do, and whats more, Native didn't charge any more than Safelite did for their poor quality off brand glass. My guess is that Safelite gets a deal on the cheap glass they peddle and therefore pushes that, overcharging for their inferior brand, while claiming that they don't install Mopar products. If you want to save yourself some time, money, and heartache, and you're in the area, do yourself a favor and don't bother with Safelite, go to Native Auto Glass instead. read more

I had a quote of $730 and added wipers which should have still kept the total under $800. When the bill came to $892, I was told that the quote didn't include tax?! I had been warned that the collision sensors would have to be "recalibrated"..... I accepted that. However the charge for that service came to $395 which I assume had something to do with adjusting a computer in the car? Hardly laborious, IMHO.... On the bright side, they were done inside 2 hours and I love my new windshield and wipers, but in the future I think I will look for cheaper alternatives. read more

I just had Safelite Auto Glass replace the windshield on my truck. WOW! What an amazing experience. My technician, Riley, kept me informed every step of the way. He replaced my windshield, washed my windows and even vacuumed my truck! I set up my appointment online, which was seamless and quick. These guys did a great job! They did all the usual - replace the windshield. But the extras are they did it nicely, professionally, and quickly. The new glass is nice and the wind doesn't whistle over the trim (it did on the old window). Plus -- I messed up and forgot to remove all the poop I have glued to my windshield. Not only did they do that for me, but they also re-mounted the poop, and re-ran all the electrical and antenna cables in the frame for me. (I have a radar detector, satellite radio w/ antenna, and a dash cam). I've never had a glass installer remount and hide all the wiring for me before. It was very nice to pick up the car and find out I didn't have to go home and spend all the time to do all re-mounts and re-stuff all the wires. They also replaced my ExpressToll sticker for me. About an hours time and every single employee who walked by me made sure to say hello to me in the lobby which I thought was so nice you don't get that everywhere! Got another chip in our window and returned. BEST. SERVICE. EVER. I initially called their main line, and they had a longer wait time, so they offered me a $20 cash discount for setting up an appointment via their website instead. (Super cool!) So I used the email form, and my insurance covers this, so all I had to do was set up a time (they had next-day availability even!) and input my insurance info. They did all the verification - by the time I arrived about 15mins early to my appointment, all I had to do was hand over my keys and they got started early. The waiting room has soda, coffee, tea, and water available (and A/C!). 35mins later the chip was fixed and we were driving away - they even gave us a can of glass cleaner, vacuumed our floorboards, and cleaned our windows. Super-smooth process, beautifully fixed window, and totally hassle-free! read more

I had the worst experience! I had brought my car in a while back and they told me if I got another chip to put clear finger nail polish on it to stop it. This is what i did. When i went back in they said because I did that they couldnt fix it. The woman receptionist was very rude. She went and supposedly talked to a technician who never came to look at it. I told her if I needed a new windshield i wouldnt get it there. She was very rude and quite honestly an awful person. Today i took it to glass Doctor. They did a phenomenal job! Fixed the chip! Told me that their was no reason why they shouldnt be able to fix it with clear fingernail polish over it. I believe this place was just out for my $! I highly do not reccomend this place! Also Glass Doctor felt so bad about it they fixed it for FREE! From now on for all my glass needs I'm going to Glass Doctor! read more

We brought our vehicle in to have a chip in the windshield repaired, it was covered under our insurance. We were there for around 45 min to an hour. They said they " fixed" it with resin, when in fact they did not. A month later the chip they had "repaired" ended up cracking in two directions. When we called them they told us over the phone that it wouldn't cost us anything, so we brought it in. We were then told that it was going to cost us nearly 400 dollars to fix what they were suppose to have fixed the first time, but instead they made worse. read more

I took my car in for a windshield replacement. I waited while they worked and it took right at 2 hours. They did an excellent job. It comes with a lifetime nationwide warranty. They even put wipers that I had bought on for me. They are a little bit higher in price than others but you do get what you pay for. I'm very satisfied. read more

The mobile tech called approximately 15 minutes before the end of my 8am-12pm window and indicated he would be there in 20 minutes (NOT within the window of time allotted). I paid for a chip repair thinking the chip wouldn't be visible and it looks exactly as it did before, just with some filler. Considering the amount of money I paid, it would have been more cost effective and more aesthetically appealing if I had paid my insurance deductible and had the entire windshield replaced. No real incentive for paying for chip repair out of pocket which seems odd to me especially considering the appearance of the chip following completion. Lastly, I noted some small scratches on my vehicle where the tech was working after his departure. I was so consumed with inspecting the less than desirable appearance of the "repair" I didn't even take note of the scratches until I went to wash my vehicle later that day. The tech was friendly enough but overall I'm disappointed with my experience. While I've had a replacement done with Safelite before, I don't know that I will use them again. read more

Very disappointed with the Greeley Safelite. After scheduling appointment for my daughter knowing and letting them know that our insurance company has glass replacement they let us know that we had to pay and then go back to our insurance company with all of the information- request reimbursement- and wait for our insurance company to send us a check. I have used Safelite "many" times in the past and they dealt with my insurance company and made the process smooth. I will no longer be using Safelite nor will any of my family and friends. read more

These guys are the best - customer service was excellent. I was greeted right away with a smile and eye contact by 2 employees at the desk. Then another employee came in and did the same - a trait I find lacking in most younger people today. Maybe I shouldn't say but the quote I received over the phone was higher than they charged in person, and I pre-ordered winter wiper blades and was told I didn't need them. They saved me a lot of money when they could have just charged whatever because I wouldn't have known any different. They vacuumed the front of my interior and cleaned all my windows. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because they originally gave me a time frame of 8a-5p. Fortunately, that morning the service tech called me around 8:30 to say he would be here between 11 & 12. He was right on time and allowed me to make better use of my time. My car had a rock chip. Took it in for the repairs needed. I got the warranty with it. After their repair failed and the chip cracked about another 2 inches more I brought it back with the warranty. They did not honor the warranty and pretty much said the warranty does nothing and would have to replace the windshield. Offered to do another repair on the same crack they previously repaired and did so off the books. (It is apparently against company policy to do so according to their corporate representatives) anyways the second repair also did not work and the crack spread all the way across the windshield and now makes my vehicle illegal to drive. And I brought it back, with the warranty and they still refused to replace the windshield, because at this point it cannot be repaired. It got to the point where I called the corporate office which is when they told me the policies and how many they broke. They said they would get it sorted and the windshield replaced. However they never called back to set a time for the replacement. They are now saying they cannot do so because there are no records of me ever being there in the first place. The funny thing is though, I have a receipt with a date, and a copy of the warranty. So we shall see what actions take place. read more

Had my front windshield replaced. 10 days later had 3 tiny rock chips. Call to get it fixed and they wanted $150.00 after having the windshield for 10 days. I originally already paid $238.00 for the windshield. They said they would do it for $80.00. I told them forget it. 10 days tells their glass and their so called life time warranty does not include the glass. I will never come back again. Liars. I don't even want to give th 1 star, but it won't let you select nothing They get a a big fat 0. read more

If you want to spend an hour on the phone getting a price and scheduling an appointment they are fine. But come on this is a windshield! Give me a price set an appointment and get on with it. Trying to up sale me on wipers and trying to convince me that the "nationwide" network carries some significant value is ludicrous. I have windshields installed in vehicles on the average of at least 1 or 2 per year. My phone experience caused me to search for another dealer and saved me over 40% of what safelite was asking! I will never again need to utilize their services. One the positive side...if you stop into their local office in Greeley, they are wonderful to deal with and provided great service. I think the moral of this story is..if you want to deal with safelite, go into their office...when you call on the phone you are going to get a sales job! read more
