I've had safelite to my house twice now, both times they brought the wrong windshield. There are options of two windshields, both times brought the wrong one. I know this is a very hard job... Ya, right. Look at VIN explains it all- wouldn't bevsurprised if they can't read- Inept, unprofessional and incomplete. Never use this company, there are local glass vendors that they are putting out of business, when you only get frustrated and annoyed. 3 weeks to replace a windshield is absurd. Safelite is AWFUL. To be clear, this review is not about the technicians or staff at the location of this installation center - they have been great all around. If I only had to deal with them, I'm sure there would be no issues whatsoever. My original appointment was scheduled in May, and here we are about to enter July and still no Windshield. The complete ineptitude by management and this automated system is just astounding. If anything, it's been breathtaking to see such a utter failure in communication unfold in real time. First appointment - They didn't have my windshield. The automated system books you an appointment first. This is the mechanism that sets off the ordering of the windshield. Second appointment - They still don't have the windshield despite rescheduling. Third appointment - (I called Safelite to confirm receipt of said windshield) They have the windshield! Dropped off car, Uber home. Get home, get call from tech... the windshield is chipped, and he won't use it (good call on the tech's part). Called my insurance and Safelite, and got approval for OEM glass to avoid this (also a recommendation from the tech). Fourth appointment - Today, as a matter of fact, the don't have the windshield. It was sent to Quincy. No windshield replacement today. So, here we are, on the precipice of entering July, having started this process in May. I'd be angry if this wasn't so hysterical to watch unfold in real time. The automated bureaucracy system schedules you a new appointment each time. Best part? It NEVER notifies you. You have to go check for yourself. I've received exactly one call since this whole process started. July 2nd Update: my appointment for today at 3:30pm was just moved to July 8th at 2pm. Did I receive any call or notification? Of course not. I had to call someone, not receive a call back, and then hunt down the status myself. What a joke. July 8th update: just showed up for my appointment to find they still don't have my windshield. I'm starting to feel like they are messing with me. This place is all about the money. No customer service. They just don't care. I made an appointment, told the woman everything, showed up on time and was told they won't help me because I had a leak. I told the woman on the phone I had a leak and she didn't seem to mind. I lost my whole afternoon and they wouldn't even help me with a referral. Called Alliance Glass and it was like night and day. The night of Christmas my front and back driver side windows were smashed. I made an appointment with safelite and they quoted me a price of 490.00 dollars. In order to accept the appointment I had to pay for the services I didn't yet receive. I made the payment dropped my car off Monday afterwork and I went home. On Tuesday safelite called and said they couldn't put in the front window because I needed a new regulator. So when I asked what was wrong with the back window they said they received a defective glass from the manufacturer. In addition to this bad news they also told me they're closing at 2pm and my truck will be left unlock with the key under the mat. Mind you I work on the other side of town and don't get off until 3pm. I feel like they took my money and laughed because today is New Years eve and my money is still not refunded. I find it very disturbing how my money was immediately removed from my account but its taking over three days to be refunded. If I let my anger for this horrible service get the best of me than I would be looked at as violent. But instead I'm writing this review. read more

Brought a 2019 Honda Civic for a windshield replacement, was told replacement cost would be $1,300 due to lane keep assist and dynamic cruise control. Went to pick up the vehicle and paid for the service. While I was there I asked the technician regarding the new windshield systems and calibration charge, and asked what Calibration tool they used for the service. I was told, "I can't tell you that. It's Safelite secrets." So I'm going to ask you to wait it the waiting room. Not sure why this Safelite's reviews are so low. I had a great experience at this location. Sure, the actual office isn't very fancy, but it doesn't need to be.
