I want to give a special shout out to this Safelite location and their amazing staff…read more I had my windshield replaced elsewhere last month due to a crack and yesterday, my luck was short again, as a rock kicked up from a car in front of me on I-394 and left me with two very tiny chips. I made an appointment with Safelite online later in the day and was so happy they were able to fit me in the next morning. When I arrived, the person who checked me in was very friendly and the technician I worked with walked my car with me and explained that the chips weren't actually deep enough to cause problems and I wouldn't need a true chip repair service, but he was happy to fill it in to help reduce the blemish. I truly appreciated the honestly and transparency. They had a busy day ahead of them, so for him to offer to help touch up the chips for me meant a lot. When I got the car back 15 minutes later, the imperfection was less visible and the technician told me there wouldn't be a charge, which completely made my whole day and was above and beyond on his part. I wish I could remember his name because I was so impressed by the entire experience. If you are reading this- thank you! I would highly recommend this location. Great service is hard to come by and deserves recognition.

I brought it in for a warranty appointment today and they said that it seems like normal wear and tear of the screen; however, the screen did not look like this prior to my windshield replacement. She said she took photos to send to the quality team, but that the screen damage did not appear very well in the photos. I have been trying to get in touch with the location directly, but two different customer service reps have given me different numbers, and the third transferred me to a store location in Wisconsin. I am just wanting to send in my own photos to make sure the quality team has an accurate idea of what the screen looks like.

They go me in right away and despite a delay on my appointment was still way sooner than the competition and far more convenient. He was super friendly and got it done way sooner than we expected. My appointment was 10am-2pm (not a normal appointment time but they squeezed me in due to my windshield being delayed but weather happens) and he finished at 10:50, quick and easy! He was cracking jokes and gave me his card in case anything happens too. Super nice guy and I will be coming back but hopefully not for a while!

Updated to my post on Nov 11, 2025: Got an email from Customer care to call in. All they wanted to…read moredo was setup another appointment which I already stated that fixed in my original email to them. However, I told the CSR that my Lane Tracing Assist is not functioning correctly after they did their calibration. I plan to take it to LEXUS and have them fix but give the bill to Safelite. The CSR said she can just reschedule otherwise taking it to Lexus would void the their warranty and they would need to look at it. I told her why would take it back to the company that messed it up in the first place. Paid $850 for a windshield replacement and calibration. I have to fix the noise and now the calibration myself. Stay away and go else where is my advice.

I was given two recommendations to take it to the place down the street from Thomas. So I brought it there and they suggested that I should do it myself, purchasing a hole saw to cut a hole in the tailgate in the process. They refused to help. Lol. So that was frustrating. The next day I called Thomas Auto and Carlos listened to the problem, told me to bring it by that afternoon so they could have a look at it, and I did that. I ended up meeting with the owner, Kenny, when I brought it in. He made me feel comfortable while looking at my truck, explained what they would do to fix it, and gave me an estimate. He was able to get the needed parts delivered the next day, and my truck was ready the day after that. There was an unforeseen issue with a part needed, and he was able to stick to the original estimate. Great experience here, will definitely recommend to others and bring my vehicles back for any other body work!

They then quoted more than $1,000 to repair the damage the shop caused to the paint during the buffing. When we politely asked the shop not charge us to repair damage they caused, Steve Jarmuzek became defensive and argumentative. He argued that burning through the paint "just happens sometimes during buffing" as justification for attempting to charge us full costs and labor to repair the damage. Ultimately he removed the $78 charged for the buffing that damaged the car from the total bill, but continued to refuse to repair the damage unless we agreed to pay for it, in full. At my request, he gave us a business card for the owner, Kenny. Kenny has proven impossible to reach. We have sent Kenny three emails, none of which he has responded to. The number on the business card is the number for the shop, which just brings us back to Steve. I would avoid doing business with this shop at all costs. You could find yourself being told that damage to your vehicle "just happens sometimes" and being asked to pay thousands to repair it.
