Had a terrible experience. I scheduled an appointment online and the tech was supposed to arrive between 8am-12pm. I waited and waited and no one ever showed up. So after trying to reach someone at the shop, I was finally able to get in contact with main customer service who connected me to the shop. I was told that the tech "had an emergency" but they never contacted me. They had hours to reach out. I stayed home from work for this and my time was completely wasted. They rescheduled the appointment for the next day and the girl on the phone promised me I was going to be the first appointment right at 8am before the rain started. I rented a car to get to work that following day because I couldn't afford to miss work yet again. The tech showed up at noon instead of 8, and it was raining by then so I had to contact my leasing office and pay a daily fee to be able to use the garage. So in addition to spending money on a rental car (because they simply didn't show up when I scheduled and planned for it) I had to pay a fee to put my car in the garage. If they had told me they would show up in a window of time, that would have been ok, but I was promised I was going to be the first client right at 8am as an apology for them missing my appointment the previous day, and it was not going to be raining at 8. Honest review. Safelite AutoGlass isn't a bad choice. This location specifically isn't great. I had a drop off appointment at 9:30 am. Started my day with a flat tire I needed to replace so I called ahead and they said "as long as you're within a 15 minute window we can take you in" I showed up at 9:42am and was rejected saying I "missed the window". I completely understand they have rules but I was misinformed and wish they just told me to reschedule instead of me driving all the way down here and taking a half day at work. Just a massive inconvenience and unfortunate. Plenty of other places to choose. Additionally, barely any cars in the lot (check photo) I've been to other locations in the past, they were much more accommodating. Had a windshield replaced here. I work 10 mins up the road. The car sat in the lot in my eye view all day and never moved. I go to get into my car and windshield they just put in is cracked worse than when I had brought it in earlier in the day. So we called the insurance company and have to go back. Oh and the wipers are screwed up. Do they not have quality control or standards? Looks like improper install to me. Stress cracks. UPDATE: 5/6/23 - Stopped in they where very nice and understood the situation and are working to make it right. 6/23 Windshield again had to be replaced after cracking again. 7/23 At no fault of safelite picked a rock, they came to fill it and the window cracked more now another windshield is needed. Told insurance company no more of the crappy windshields, after this many windshields they have decided an OEM windshield was in order. Let's hope that this works out. 7/26/23 No phone call to say windshield was in. Called insurance company. Now the insurance company and safelite want to argue over whos paying. I'm going 3 stars for now. I booked an appointment through my insurance to get a windshield replaced at the Attleboro Safe Lite. It seemed like an ordeal to have them come to a location so I canceled work for a Saturday morning and booked it. Everything was well documented and confirmed with emails and texts which is great. Problem is I got there, settled in the waiting room and 10 minutes later was told that the replacement windshield they had, had a large deep scratch on it. Clearly is didn't want that one and they had no others and can't get one today so I missed work and wasted a morning for nothing. Now I need to work things out and get a new appointment scheduled. We will see how that pans out, but so far I'm not thrilled. Especially since this crack is part of a failed Safe Lite chip repair. read more

Update: the sealant around my windshield start peeling and cracking. My mechanic said it was absolutely a crappy install job. I emailed safe light customer service (bc getting them on the phone is a nightmare) and 10 days later I finally got a reply. I informed them that they would be fixing the damages for free, as per their warranty. I hesitantly made a second appointment. Dropped the car off and went to IHOP. An hour later they called me saying I was all set. I closely inspected the sealant and the glass and the wipers and everything seems to be repaired. BUT WHY DID YOU DO SUCH A SHITTY *and expensive* INSTALL REQUIRING A REPAIR?! And why doesn't anyone ever answer the damn phone? read more

I will drive around without a windshield before using this company again. I took the morning off for a windshield replacement. The installer came and installed, I thought all was well. I got into my truck and realized I had no satellite radio. It was not just not on, it could no longer be chosen as an input option. Looked at the pod behind rear view mirror and it is crooked and separated from the windshield. In addition the windshield is filthy with a huge suction cup mark right in my field of vision. Called back immediately and was told the tech would be back to fix. 5pm and still no show. Lost a whole day of work. Called again and was assured "their best tech" would be here at 9am. It is 10:13 and again - no show. Called back and they at first acted like they had no idea who I was or what the issue was, until finally they told me "he is on his way"...... Would be lower but I can't. Damaged my wife's car months later not fixed and they are ghosting us after telling us they made a payment to our body shop. No payment was ever made and matt the manager is ghosting us so is regional manager. We are now being forces to take them to court with our documentation from insurance with safelite admitting to damages. A family with 2 children under 3 and safelite matt and the dumbass unskilled Technician that damaged the car could care less. No accountability but I know damn well if it happened to their wife's car it would be a different story. read more

Horrible experience! I'm still waiting for my glass to arrive. I was assigned the Attleboro location through my insurance claim with my original appointment scheduled for 7/1. A email confirmation was sent on Monday morning of my appointment later that day. In the afternoon during my service window (12-5) I received a call that the glass never arrived and they don't know why I wasn't informed earlier. The tech rescheduled me for the following day. Today my service window came and went with no glass replacement. When I called the location to check on the tech's arrival the phone simply rang. I was finally able to get through with the assistance of the call center when I was told my glass never arrived and they don't know why I received a confirmation of my service. At this point they have been a no show twice and didn't communicate either time they couldn't come out until after the appointment window. Glass deliveries arrive the night before, so there is no reason for them not to contact me in the morning. At this point I don't have an appointment and they don't know when the glass will arrive. Safelight Attleboro:  rated F- / Autoglass Fitters Foxboro rated A+++ From the moment I received a call from a Mapfre/Safelight representative (apparently Mapfre has a professional arrangement with Safelight) to have the driver's side back window replaced, it was nothing but one problem after another. They told me they had to order the part (for a 2020 Kia Sportage?! - by a national company who does nothing but repair/replace auto glass?!).  After 10 days I called for a status on Tuesday, and they said yes you're on the schedule for Friday between 12 and 5 pm (would have been great if they had told me that, but I was so ready to have it fixed, I was just glad I was scheduled).  Of course, Friday came and I never received the call they said I'd get to confirm and give me a closer estimate of arrival.  I received an automated text the day before stating to opt-in if I wanted to receive status updates, which I did, but I never received one text.  When no technician had shown by 4, and I hadn't received the call 30 minutes before arrival that they stated everyone gets, so I started making calls to customer service. After several calls, they said they spoke to the technician who was on another job but still couldn't say when he'd be at my place.  That indicated to me that I would be next since they say between noon and 5pm.  5 pm I call because he hadn't arrived and I hadn't received the call from him that I was supposed to get 30 minutes prior to arrival.  C/S still is not only not helpful, but rude.  5:05 the technician calls me to say that he is just leaving one job but has another job before me so he wouldn't be able to get to my place until about 7:30, so he said he wasn't going to be able to do it. I called C/s AGAIN to complain and reschedule, and the soonest they could reschedule for me was another week out (3 weeks after 1st call!).  It didn't matter that I had a confirmed and scheduled appointment for which THEY canceled AFTER the appointment and after I waited for 5 hours.  A fair accomodation would have been to fit me in the next day, Saturday, or certainly Monday.  Needless to say, they not only dropped the ball again but a manager at one of the local shops was supposed to call me and never did.  How many different ways can Safelight screw up so bad on what should've been a routine auto glass replacement?!! Autoglass Fitters out of Foxboro scheduled me for two days after I called, and their technician called me 30 minutes before arrival. He was polite and professional and obviously knowledgeable and he went above and beyond because the regulator in the door had also been affected when the window broke, but he was able to put the extra effort in and he did fix it in well under an hour. read more
