Long story short, they picked up the generator from my house, repaired it perfectly, cleaned and tuned it up, and then delivered it back. They also took the time to teach me how to properly maintain it so it doesn't happen again. Would I recommend them? Absolutely! They're not the cheapest, but in my opinion, they're worth every penny. First, your team would not have contacted me to schedule an interview if my background did not align with the role. However, given how this morning's conversation went, the outcome is not a surprise. Horacio admitted that he was new to interviewing, and it was evident throughout our conversation. Having an unprepared, visibly nervous representative conduct interviews reflects poorly on the company. He was repetitive, spoke to me as though I did not understand the fundamentals of the role, and repeatedly asked for information I had already provided. Continuing to pitch company benefits when there is clearly no intention of extending an offer is both inefficient and unprofessional. ​It is great to see Powell Electric expanding after so many years in business. However, when Horacio advised me to follow up myself in a few days because he and his two managers are often "too busy" to contact applicants, I had to stop him. Taking the time to post a position and interview candidates, only to claim you are too busy to extend the basic courtesy of a follow-up, is poor practice. ​It is unfortunate that the process was handled this way, as I know the level of capability and professionalism I bring to the table. I hope you find what you are looking for, though it will be difficult to secure strong talent if leadership is too busy to communicate and relies on unseasoned interviewers to evaluate candidates. The best! I live in Beverly Hills, CA and have a Kohler RES30 residential generator installed since…read more2007. However, I have never been able to identify a reliable service provider to maintain the generator. They were all overpriced and/or did not do proper maintenance. I've been through a few. Once I found the generator housing (it's big) completely full with leaves and the oil dipstick broken. Clear evidence that they never even opened the housing during their "service". For all I know it could have broken down as there were no way to tell if oil was low. Recently the generator just stopped. I searched high and low until I found California Generator. Their site showed they were Kohler experts, so I thought I'd give them a shot even though they're located in Upland 1 - 1 1/2 hour drive away. Mitch came out and realized gas was not flowing and determined a part was defective. His company ordered the part and when he returned a few days later to install the part there STILL was a problem. Turned out a small "plug" had come loose and disappeared. A needle in a haystack, Mitch found it and re-installed it. Since he had already installed the new part, he left the $300 part in and didn't charge me for it. They were extremely fair in pricing the 2 visits and a total of 6 - 8 hours of driving time. Best of all, I know the generator is in good hands going forward!

These guys are great! We had four recessed lights and 2 chandeliers installed. There had been a…read moreproblem with the wiring of the recessed lights, and that had to be addressed before the actual installation of the new ones. In addition, the old-style lights and their housing had to be adjusted for the new ones to fit. Amazingly, Alejandro did the job (4 recessed lights, wiring repair, carpentry to change the housing, and two chandeliers) in approximately half a day. Everything worked perfectly, the floors and house were spotless when he left, and all questions were answered. Very efficient and professional. We couldn't be more pleased. Two days later, Miguel came by to do the final patching up and painting. Again, the work was done professionally and with total competence. Perfect clean-up afterward. Kudos also go to Alvaro, the supervisor of the job. This is not the first time we've used ADI Electric, and we have been perfectly satisfied each time.
