It's on the corner in the small business lot. It looks kinda sketchy at first glance. I walked in and its a waiting area. An employee comes out of a bigger room that they use as office space. They scan the barcode that you you receive from the potential employer, you're then walked into another room with a locker, where you put all your personal items (they give you the key) and you do your thing for the test. When you come out, they check the sample and seal it in front of you. Once it's completed, they'll give you some paper work that shows you went in and provided a sample.

I have had both quick and extended visit needs, and never once felt rushed or pressured. They took their time doing what needed to be done and explained everything adequately and the appointment was over when I had satisfied everything I came there to address. This is not the type that spend 3 minutes with you and rush you out the door as long as you try to be respectful of their time :) it has been one of my best experiences with a doctors office in my life so far and I'm so happy I found that and the reviews were right for once!

The Receptionist who checked me in was very sweet and cheerfully caring, and communicated with a clear and organized finesse that made the whole experience feel pleasantly comfortable. Dr. Hu was very nice and mindfully present in explaining to me the lab reports he was preparing for my upcoming blood work tests for my annual physical, and listened politely with considerate compassion when I asked him for assistance in drafting a note to help me get a temporary leave of absence for work to focus on recovering my mental and physical health after years of brutal burnout. The Totalcare Team helped me organize my paperwork neatly and sent them over to me through email quickly just as they promised! My pain management doctor warned me about that. So after investigating, they said I filed 8 complaints against 8 Asian Providers since 2014. That's not even true as most were for the general staff not doing their job, losing surgery paperwork to do Pre Op, and other things mentioned in my prior review. Ridiculous, I live in the SGV, just do a population search and 68% of the population in SGV is Asian. So most likely I am going to get a provider that matches what that census data shows. Also, they accused me of being Perverted with a doctor there, but that female doctor wore mini skirts and never crossed her legs when sitting across from me so what the heck is a guy supposed to do but notice her lace boy short panties are showing during at least 8 different office visits? I complained about that Dr not being Lady Like, not crossing her legs, I said please do not let her wear mini skirts, at least wear pantyhose, leggings or tights so panties do not show, and that Office flipped it into accusing me of being a pervert and used doctors for sexual arousal. I am married, and get the best *** ever. Just a Terrible office to go to but I am stuck because I lose my specialists and lose 3 surgeries planned later this year if I went somewhere else. The latest complaint is this. I went on Vacation and my 2 Mounjaro PENS malfunctioned so I needed my PCP to send a refill of my diabetes medication to a local pharmacy in California. I sent 3 emails to covering doctors, but I think the Patient Liadon actually wrote back and told me to Stop harassing staff with my emails they are busy with other patients. I mean anyone diabetic who has blood sugar of 410 needs attention from their doctor, so for my doctor to fail to respond to my diabetes issue, is super unprofessional and if I were you, I'd never trust this Optum Monrovia. My photo shows I was not lying about needing my medication, it was 410 over 3 hours ago!

I went in for my annual check-up plus blood work for a TB test that I need to start volunteering. As many others, my schedule is very very limited so I found it very practical that I would be able to do both in a visit. I asked the provider how long would results take and was told 3 days or more. A week or so passed so I assumed it was just taking a little longer. Today makes 2 weeks and I have a Telehealth appt. with said provider, so I was hoping she would let me know my results. I was then told that they don't have any results, which is weird since I had blood drawn! I almost never post reviews, let alone bad ones but this is extremely upsetting. I think I wouldn't have mind to go again if not for the fact that I need these results in order to get the hours before the end of this month, which is in 2 weeks. I also wouldn't have been this disappointed if I didn't have to, again, take time off work, waste time and money to get a simple result. What's done is done and there's no other choice but to do this all over again. I asked the provider what happened and the answer I got was to focus on a solution, which I get the sentiment; but, reiterating, for some of us is not that simple. I understand things happen and I believe this is just an honest mistake; however, this is still very frustrating since I would consider this a complete disregard for someone else's time and resources. I don't think many of use have the luxury of going here and there just to achieve nothing. Lastly, I just checked my portal and it looks like they tried calling me 2 days ago to tell me that the provider had ordered the test but that blood wasn't drawn. I'm not sure if this was a one time thing or if this has become a pattern but given that nobody knows where my sample is and that the provider wasn't aware either, is telling.

Their posted information shows physicals for $35, but I was told over the phone that the price is now $50. Their website is also currently down, so there was no way for me to verify their current pricing or get additional information online. The more questions I asked, the more confusing the conversation became. The employee eventually told me she mostly works in the back and didn't know the answers. I asked if I could be transferred to someone who could answer my questions. She came back but still couldn't provide any additional information and basically told me they only offer self-pay and that I would need to come into the office if I had more questions. I wasn't asking anything complicated. I simply wanted to understand the cost and whether I could use my HSA before driving over there. If the person answering the phone doesn't know, I would expect to at least be transferred to someone who does. I decided not to bring my son here. The entire interaction was strange, unhelpful and unorganized and didn't give me much confidence in the office.

This clinic caught my eye since it was close and the reviews were great. I called and confirmed they took my HMO card before scheduling a same day appointment. The person on the phone was nice and provided all the information i needed and confirmed my insurance will cover it free. I went to the facility and they greeted me walking in and sign in was a breeze. I did had to fill out a first time patient form but i skipped the SSN and explained to her since i have insurance i shouldn't require it so she helped me skip that and once i was done; i waited like 5 minutes and i was let in by a girl named Leslie who gave me my covid shot. In another 3 minutes then i was out. She was very friendly and helpful. I was happy with my visit and plan to come back whenever i need any medical needs from them!
