I've been here probably a half a dozen times, each time with great experience. The waiting room is clean and tidy. There is never any wait to check in at one of the three machines. The phlebotomists are all proficient and courteous. Compared to the Quest Diagnostics labs and staff in and around Boston, MA, this place really shines. Their system is also punctual. Your wait is no more than 10 minutes from your scheduled time. But don't go early. My husband once went half an hour prior to his appointment time, but his name on the screen kept being pushed back as others checked in with appointments prior to his. He ended up being seen exactly at his scheduled time. This facility is conveniently located in the same strip mall as 99 Ranch Market, Bank of America, and a few small eateries. So there is ample parking, and easy to get food, money, and groceries. read more

First time ever going to a blood draw poked twice. I did warn the nurse my vein is thin and tricky seems she didn't take note to me. This is the result I get. First poke on the left arm the nurse was not successful she poke my either tendon or muscle because there was no blood coming out. Second poke you can see my big bruise arm, she use the fine needle but she was not careful so one point the needle was 90 degrees which it cause the bruise. Sadly this is the closest lab my insurance would take and other than that make appointment beat the waiting in line. The wait room is filled with patients it's crazy. checked in without an appointment, fully understanding there would be a wait. The system clearly stated an estimated wait time of 30-60 minutes. Unfortunately, I ended up waiting nearly two hours with no clear communication or accountability. During this time, I watched multiple patients--also without appointments--be seen and leave while I remained in the waiting room. Every person who was there when I arrived had already been seen and cleared out. Concerned that I may have been missed, I approached the front desk and was told they were "short staffed" and that patients had been waiting since 7 a.m. Respectfully, that explanation did not align with what was happening in real time. After almost two hours, I asked again for an ETA, explaining that I had been fasting and urgently needed to use the restroom. Sarah, the staff member I spoke with, said she could not provide an ETA and showed zero empathy or professionalism in her response. This is a healthcare setting. Delays can happen -- but poor communication, lack of compassion, and dismissive behavior should not. Sarah's demeanor and handling of the situation were unprofessional and unacceptable. The lack of empathy shown was honestly appalling. I will not be returning and would not recommend this location based on this experience. read more

Quest is a great alternative to getting your labs done if your doctors are located far away. The phlebotomists here are very nice. It is a big laboratory now, however I was frustrated with the new check-in-system, make sure you have your driver's license and insurance on hand as you will need to scan each one of them and time runs out during check-in if you have to get it from your purse. It is also hard to get appointment times, if you have an emergency lab that needs to be done within a few days and before a specific time in the morning, it is very difficult to schedule an appointment. read more

I make my appointments through online and it is a bit tough to get morning appointments but eventually one will pop up and you'll be able to get it once you get in. It's pretty simple. You'll get a message the day of your appointment you just confirm that you're there you don't have to do anything else but sit down and wait for them to call you Everyone's pretty friendly And you're pretty much in and out Each time I've gone the nurse that I get is very gentle. Located in Hacienda Center, all the way to the corner of the building. Parking can be packed, unless you park farther away. Everything is digital, there will be screen display to check in and schedule walk in. There is no human interaction until one of the staff calls the name. Very simple and quick. Needed lab work done and my Dr wrote an order for Quest. I got home and looked on their website for the next available appointment. It was 2 weeks out.....what the heck???!! 2 weeks? OK, so 2 weeks go by and it's time for my appointment. This location is in the strip mall on Azusa - in the same plaza as Bank of America. I arrive and check in using the screens in the lobby. There was no attendant there, just screens for self check in and other patients waiting to be called. The technician called my name and I went with him to the room where he would attempt to get a few tubes of blood. First poke - he misses the vein. Second poke, he misses again and them attempts to move the needle while its still in me - if you haven't had that done, it freaked hurts a lot. When I had Kaiser, they would get it on the first try and they would see me the same day. What kinda circus did my Dr send me to???? Never again. This place is a joke. read more

Update , 4 hrs already still waiting !!!! I wish i could make zero star to this worst Lab ever !! I'm honestly baffled by how complicated this lab made something as simple as dropping off a stool sample. My son needed a test, so we were told we had to make an appointment just to drop it off -- because they need time to "make a label." I'm not sure how long printing a label is supposed to take, but I can't imagine it's more than a minute. The bigger issue is, how am I supposed to guarantee exactly when my son will poop? even a day before. It's not like I can schedule his bowels. We did our best -- rushed to the lab as soon as we had the sample -- only to be told we were more than 10 minutes late and our appointment was cancelled. We were told to wait as a walk-in instead. I've now been waiting here for over 3.5 hours just to hand over a stool sample. The process is beyond frustrating and unnecessarily difficult for parents already stressed about their child's health. There's got to be a better way to handle something this basic. Absolutely ridiculous experience. read more

My wife (who is pregnant) took our 2-year-old son here for a simple blood test on Sept 30th, and the experience was beyond unprofessional. The nurse and her assistant had absolutely no bedside manner -- instead of treating us with care, they went out of their way to shame and accuse us. They told my wife that our son "should have had this test a year ago," something no doctor has EVER told us before, and accused us of "neglect." Then, to top it off, the assistant claimed our son's blood was "too thick because he doesn't drink water" -- completely false, and an absurd, reckless thing to say. Our son drinks water daily. Instead of helping, they left my wife in tears and made an already stressful situation far worse. This office clearly doesn't understand basic respect, compassion, or professionalism. If you value being treated like a human being, avoid this place at all costs. read more

This Quest Diagnostics location used to be located across the street, in the plaza with the 168 Market, but has since moved to this newer location, near the 99 Ranch Market. There are only kiosks to check-in and no more counter window, with an employee to help or answer any questions one may have. It does feel a bit "cold" since it's all machine-based, no human touch, which can be a hinderance for those who do not speak English, have a disability, the elderly, or someone who may need a bit of help from a human being. Once you check-in, either through the phone or the kiosk, your name will be shown on the monitor and you can see that you have properly checked in, and also see where you "stand" in line. A phlebotomist will call you once it's your turn. I have always made an appointment before arriving, but I have seen people there as walk-ins as well. Overall, I am usually in and out really quickly. I have been to this location a handful of times since they have moved, and I'm usually brought to the back within a few minutes of checking in and my labs completed with a matter of minutes! Of course depending on the time of the day, and day of the week, parking can be tricky, with the amount of storefronts in this plaza. Sometimes there is a homeless person on the bench, near the entrance to Quest, as well. read more

I am the care provider for my mother. If , I do not assist her the facility is not staffed for elderly who are not familiar appointment process. Walk in services are NOT WELCOMED. The wait times are distorted. The signage posted needs revisions. If there was an vendor for my mother's needs , I would pay for the convenience. Location is in a busy plaza, near a 99 ranch so parking can be a bit busy. It's very clean inside. There is no receptionist, you either check in online or you use their tap screens. The online check-in wasn't working for me so I used their tap screen. I am tech savvy so I had no issues with checking in. The set up is very ablest. An older lady asked me for help with checking in and English wasn't her first language so I had to guess how to check her in because she did the check in via a language I don't understand. The check in system is timed and she was a pretty slow reader so it ended up timing out on her, but she said it told her that she'd be receiving a call so I hope it worked out for her. They really should have at least one receptionist, even fast food spots have someone who can work as a cashier. I had an appointment and was taken in on time. Their were quite a few people, maybe 7 people in the waiting room. My phlebotomist was professional and I had no issues with her piercing the needle in my vein, there was minimal bleeding. I also had an urine test, they give you the cup and you use go to the restroom then drop off your sample in a little shelf. My phlebotomist disappeared when I dropped off my sample and I had no idea if I was suppose to wait for her or not so I just ended up leaving. She wasn't clear on whether or not I still needed to talk to her but I haven't heard anything from quest so I assume it's fine that I left. The whole system seems like it can be better with some administrative staff on site. Even booking an appointment is through a automated phone call. The only actual person I saw working there was my phlebotomist. Overall my experience was okay there but I do worry about less tech savvy people who most likely do not read yelp reviews. read more

First time coming to Quest for bloodwork and the entire experience was seamless from start to finish. You get a text message 30 minutes before your scheduled appointment as a reminder to check in. They provide a link for checking in but you are only allowed to check in 10 minutes prior to your appointment time. I highly recommend making an appointment prior. The walk ins had to wait and with my appointment, I was able to go in when I arrived. The phlebotomist was very skilled and was able to find a vein very quickly on the first prick. I have very small veins so it usually takes a few tries. The facility is very clean and the waiting room is nice. They are under construction on the outside but still open for business. My husband took my daughters as walk ins because they had zero appointments and they had to be fasting. They arrived before 7am and were in the door right when they opened. They have been waiting for 5 1/2 hours so far and still have not been seen. This is not how you treat people! She has to have labs done today so they have to wait but this is too long to have a child wait. She is on over 18 hrs fasting. read more

Worst experience ever! Went in as a walk in on 2/17/25 and the employee that was there was very rude a Spanish speaking lady with nappy long hair with a braid. She was mistreating everyone that didn't speak English, she was treating all the patients like if they were children or worst. Very rude lady! I left this office without being seen due to the horrible experience. This employee needs to be disciplined. Never again going back. The lady refused to help any Spanish speaking patient that needed assistance with the kiosk machine. read more

My daughter and I went to this location on Saturday morning without appointment, the waiting time is less than 10 minutes after sign in which makes me really impressed. While drawing my daughter's blood they are also very fast and smooth. My daughter was very scared at the beginning but the nurses help me to calm her down and teach me how to hold her . After they had done their job, my daughter asked them to help her beanie baby to draw the blood too , they did spend extra time with the beanie baby. I am very appreciate for their patience and love. Make an appointment if possible. Bring an up to date insurance card, Id/driver license and another form of payment just in case. If you need assistance with kiosk check in I would ask someone to accompany you. The kiosk and tv are very informative on how long you may wait and what place you are at in line. I was able to walk in, they do prioritize appointments even if they come in earlier than their appointment time. My 6 year old daughter needed to fast for this appointment, I believe they took this into consideration and took her quickly. But I will be making appointments for the future. Staff is very attentive and really great with children doing blood work. 10/10 care quality. read more

Kioks are a great for checking if you're technology efficient. I seen an older lady that couldn't use the kiosk and no one came out to help. Employees should help the elderly with checking in or people who have difficulties. Customer service review!!! The staff was very helpful. I waited an hour here because my doctor never sent over the second order of blood work. After going back and forth with my doctors office, the staff here offered to call them directly. They had trouble getting through as well but they finally were able to obtain the order from the doctor. The staff here could have easily canceled my appt. My blood work wasn't a stat or maintenance order but instead they offered to help me and assured me that I will be seen. I really appreciate this location's staff for this reason. They have to have a better system or lead staff that understands patients needs especially for unexpected reasons patiences are there early. Appointments are booked way in advanced, so you definitely need to make an appointment weeks before especially getting an early morning appointment. My Elderly mother had an appointment at 11:20am on fasting, we needed to go in early to check in, so we arrived at 7:09am as a walk in, because my mother could not make her original appointment time. Upon checking in I told my mom to let staff know she is here for stand by so they are aware and not wait to call my mom at 11:20am appointment time. My mom was told by a staff member that because she has an appointment, ALL THE WALK INS WITHOUT APPOINTMENTS WILL BE SEEN BEFORE SHE IS SEEN (that does not make sense to me). So, I spoke to a staff member who at the front area, I said why not just cancel her appointment and take her in as a walk in, she said "there's no guarantees that she will be seen prior to her appointment time" (that's understandable). I mentioned to her that on the screen when we checked in as a stand by, it stated there were 3 stand by patients ahead of us and my mother was the 4th. At this point the young lady stated she already seen 3 walk ins so I said "my mom should be next as the fourth". The young lady stated I understand but since your mom has an appointment she has to wait, I said "we came early to be on stand so why can't my mom be serviced and simply cancel her appointment and take her in as a stand by". The young lady said the system isn't set up like that. I know the young lady was only telling us what she's been told by others in the back because I could tell she understands our concern, unlike the other lady with mixed black and blonde hair that's short and somewhat heavy set, you can see through the window that she does not want to accommodate patients or provide solutions by her actions. (which the younger lady helped us out with). My mother was finally seen 1hr before her appointment time. Stating other walk ins are seen prior to another walk in that has an appointment doesn't make any sense at all. Simply accommodate the walk in by canceling appointment whether it be the staff or patient to do so and see walk ins accordingly, end of discussion. Walk ins should be on a first come first serve basis whether you have an appointment or not and onced checked-in appointment should be canceled immediately so another person can take that time slot in my opinion. read more

Came in for blood draw for lab tests. I'm very grateful I have one near me that I never knew. I came at 11:50am, right before they close for lunch from 12p-1p. I just came in. I didn't make any appointment. I was the only one there to be seen. They still were able to see me. Since it was my first time here and they wanted to try to finish my blood draw before they closed, they filled out my information. I handed them my ID and insurance card. I fasted, so the results would be more accurate. The person who drew my blood was very nice and very good at what she does. I didn't even feel it and I'm scared of people poking me. Since they won't answer their phone, I'll just leave this right here. I see.several doctors for different reasons. I literally handed the technician my orders for the tests I needed before a drs appt. She decided to use the reoccurring orders of another Dr. So the Dr. I visited today did not have what he needed to treat me. Beyond disappointed since it takes weeks to get a blood work appt and months to get a dr. Appt. What a waste of time. Now ny insurance will not pay for the blood work I need for the other dr. My mother is over 80yrs old. Had an appointment but had A very difficulties using the automated sign in and was not called in After an hour her husband asked one of the assistants to check and was told he was late. After asking another assistant she to told him that were late and failed to assist. After another person sitting in the waiting room on waiting list, told them that she had been waiting for over an hour they just looked over and said no she wasn't her for that long. And she was late and had to go on the walk in list. That person insisted to check their log and was willing to switch her spot in line. The assistant was still reluctant but apparently went back to check and finally called her. Worst place ever, this place is packed like sardines and is dirty, raunchy and smelly. You feel like you can pick up something just being in the place. Also, don't believe what you read from them that "walk in" is okay because it is not, they do not take walk-in and try to make an appointment on line- it impossible! I went and did my homework and found a hidden gem In LABCORP in San Dimas, I walked in and the check in was so easy, the scanner scans your insurance and ID. I was in and out in less the 20 minutes.....do yourself a favor and save the aggravation with Quest and google LABCORP....try it and guarantee you'll think "what a dump quest is"..... finally, place is immaculate and people are very friendly! read more

This place is NOT built for for elderly or customer care. My mother is over 60 yrs old. She Had an appointment , came early but had A very difficult time checking in and was not called in . She try to get help, but the workers were not willing to help or patience. No one is there to help the elders. The workers were not patience or willing to help. Absolutely Horrible customer service, not helpful on customer service at all. She wasted a day there even with an appointment, that is how awful this experience was.
