By the time I got seen it was probably 30 minutes later like 10:10 and my blood draw was quick. I think I was out the door 10:15? So technically everything did take under an hour but I'm used to the San Dimas location where they are a little bit quicker just because I think they have more employees. I believe today three of them were working. I still have respect for all these people. Quest just has so much demand that seems like a lot of of locations are understaffed or overbooked my experience was all right here today. I can't complain.

I walked out, and while walking down the hall, I thought about what I was told and turned back to speak to someone again, only to find the door locked. They did not have to lie to me.

My throat was swelling, I could barely speak, and it was becoming difficult to breathe normally. I didn't catch the name of the woman at the front desk who checked me in and gave me my injection, and I'm sorry for that. She stayed calm, explained everything clearly, and treated me with genuine kindness when I was scared. Dr. Amrit Dillon came in quickly, took my condition seriously, and after the injection he came back more than once to check my swelling and make sure I was improving. That extra attention really gave me peace of mind. Everyone I interacted with was kind and professional. What may have been routine care for them meant a great deal to me as a patient experiencing these symptoms for the first time. Thank you all for taking such good care of me.

Given a Friday afternoon, it was crowded, but saw my son's name on the list confirmed they would be seen in order. As they waited, a lady came in and got the attention from the staff, and asked for a walk in, claiming she had an appointment. She didn't but they somehow gave her a spot. As my wife waited, seemingly longer, they noticed that my son's name was no longer on the monitor queue. Other customers were being called in, including some that arrived after them. My wife finally got a staff member's attention and told her the situation. The "rude" female insisted that they had no control over what the screen showed. (Odd that you can literally put people on the walk in queue but have no say with actual scheduled customers, BS). Long story short, they ended having to wait until all customers were seen, including walk appointments. After, pleading with the staff member that we were scheduled, they did nothing to help and made us wait until closing. Again, scheduled appointments are confirmed via text and email if you have been here. But no attempt to fix the situation. The worst experience ever at Quest (given we've been here several times and haven't had an issue). The horrible, staff member who would not help, and to top it off, she kept telling customers how busy they were because they were short staffed. That is no excuse when assisting customers. Second, saying that they had no control over the queue when they were clearly able to take walk ins, but mysteriously removed my son from the list. We've been to this location before, but it seems that horrible employees lower the standard of customer service and the overall business. Even worse is that so many people rely on Quest because many private doctor's offices do not handle internal bloodwork; so Quest has this massive contract with nationwide offices to do bloodwork for them. The customers who rely on Quest are our family members, whether sick, elderly, some dealing with major medical issues, yet they might come here and have to deal with the BS that my family dealt with today. Just horrible. Hoping to figure out if there is actual management or staff supervision to bring this issue to.

Patrons watching videos with loud volume on their phones and others enjoying speakerphone or FaceTime calls in the waiting area. Is there a secondary waiting area? Yes. Did any of the staff let anyone know about that waiting area? No. Are there any large signs in the waiting area letting people know about that secondary waiting area? No. Was staff walking over to the secondary waiting area to see if anyone was there when they didn't respond to their name being called by the front office or the phlebotomist? No. So is there practical use to that secondary waiting area? No. Not at all. Automated check in which is nice if you are young and can manage technology, unfortunately most of the patrons are elderly and/or have some level of disability. Even though individuals can select their language when they check in this apparently is also confusing. The front office staff yell back and forth which is terrible in a small office space. When I have come to accompany my parents, I always end up helping others check in also. They first try to ask the staff for help but unfortunately are ignored then look around and ask me (or anyone) for help. Even then, staff simply just ignores their patrons. Really this is a horrible environment for a medical office. And the security officer Michael is completely unhelpful and unuseful. The best way to come for blood work is to have an appt. If you have an appt they try to keep on time. If you walk in, vaya con dios mi amigo. Even at 8:30am the walk in wait is projected to be 2 - 3 hours long. Now can you understand why the waiting area is jam packed with no place to sit or stand? The one time I actually came for myself was a mess. This ended up with both my arms used as pin cushions and the end result was using both hands (because they couldn't get the poke on either arm or one hand). This was after I informed them they would need to used a butterfly. I guess they don't believe me despite the fact that at my age I know my veins and I know what works for me. After all the failed pokes and having to sit there with warm compresses on both arms and hands and having to pull in a second phlebotomist they finally used a butterfly and got it. Too bad they didn't listen to me when I first got there but maybe they get some joy from poking and digging uselessly into people's arms and hands. Needless to say I hate this place. This location is the worst. I would have given them negative 5 stars if that was allowed. There are other labor locations and I would recommend trying them unless you have no choice. Or better yet, if your insurance allows, go to Quest.

They keep saying: "oh, we're busy right now, we'll calling u back." It never happens. All lies. Zero calls back. Worst one, the NP was yelled and didn't even want to listen to the complain, and hung up. Waow! What a service! Super epic. They called, inform about "something" that wasn't a clear instruction, and wanted us to check with a neuro specialist. How to communicate with the next doctor, if the instruction I received wasn't clear? If u inform something to someone, and someone communicate it to someone else, and it became unclear what do you want, cannot give response back, get the hell out pls. Do it yourself. Don't care what u want anymore. When I asked, "nicely"... their response was: oh, we're VERY busy right now, we WILL call you back. PRETT!! "Liar!" And the NP was saying: "don't u understand that we're VERY BUSY!!" "You need to listen to me!" (When she's the one NOT listening!) (After I called 3x and waited for them to call back like almost 8 hours???) Don't u think I AM NOT BUSY MA'AM? I was "too busy" waiting for your response, just to ask, what do u want from the neuro? From the kidney doctor? What the hell u want? Explain it nicely, not so complicated ma'am "busy-in-the-world." I'm sure the doctor is a nice person, but NOT the ma'am NP! She's a fucking bullshit!!! Not a profesional at all. They tend to hanging up their phone OR just blocked u into a busy line, so when u called them, NOONE (like literally noone) will pickup the phone OR listen to your voicemails. Their phone is broken, just like their heart is broken. Probably, just come to their busy office, and see how "busy" they are blocking people's phones call to make a very QUIET room. Wow!! Applause to their profesionalism. That's how they got their profesional degree. Just blocking people's phone, and do prescription till their patient's kidney is broken.

I paid up front over Venmo, feeling comfortable with it because of his good reputation on here. And indeed he did not disappoint. Andre showed up to my house exactly on time. He went over the instructions of the kit for the test I was having done, and already knew what to expect. He asked the right questions - "Are there ice packs with this one?" "Does it need to be centrifuged?" He was even such a pro he knew which cabinet door held my garbage can without looking. The poke itself was right on the money, nearly painless, and without complication. He took the kit with him to do the postal dropoff himself - it was included with his services. One less thing for me to have to do, which was appreciated. We shook hands, said goodbye, and that was that. He did not solicit me for a Yelp review. A lot of service providers will offer deals to customers in hopes of scamming their way into a good review - it's a red flag whenever I see it and it makes me mad for having wasted time reading reviews that were essentially bought. But Andre didn't do that at all, which is why I immediately got on my computer to write him a review anyway. He earned his reviews by being good at what he does. I'd use him again anytime.
