By the time I got seen it was probably 30 minutes later like 10:10 and my blood draw was quick. I think I was out the door 10:15? So technically everything did take under an hour but I'm used to the San Dimas location where they are a little bit quicker just because I think they have more employees. I believe today three of them were working. I still have respect for all these people. Quest just has so much demand that seems like a lot of of locations are understaffed or overbooked my experience was all right here today. I can't complain.

I was told by a male employee they could not take any more patients because everyone already went home and told by a female employee that the only reason the door was open when I came in was because the door does NOT lock. I walked out, and while walking down the hall, I thought about what I was told and turned back to speak to someone again, only to find the door locked. They did not have to lie to me.

My wife came in today for scheduled bloodwork for my son. He had an appointment for 3:30 PM, and…read moreupon arrival, they checked in and were put in queue as it showed on the screen in the lobby. Given a Friday afternoon, it was crowded, but saw my son's name on the list confirmed they would be seen in order. As they waited, a lady came in and got the attention from the staff, and asked for a walk in, claiming she had an appointment. She didn't but they somehow gave her a spot. As my wife waited, seemingly longer, they noticed that my son's name was no longer on the monitor queue. Other customers were being called in, including some that arrived after them. My wife finally got a staff member's attention and told her the situation. The "rude" female insisted that they had no control over what the screen showed. (Odd that you can literally put people on the walk in queue but have no say with actual scheduled customers, BS). Long story short, they ended having to wait until all customers were seen, including walk appointments. After, pleading with the staff member that we were scheduled, they did nothing to help and made us wait until closing. Again, scheduled appointments are confirmed via text and email if you have been here. But no attempt to fix the situation. The worst experience ever at Quest (given we've been here several times and haven't had an issue). The horrible, staff member who would not help, and to top it off, she kept telling customers how busy they were because they were short staffed. That is no excuse when assisting customers. Second, saying that they had no control over the queue when they were clearly able to take walk ins, but mysteriously removed my son from the list. We've been to this location before, but it seems that horrible employees lower the standard of customer service and the overall business. Even worse is that so many people rely on Quest because many private doctor's offices do not handle internal bloodwork; so Quest has this massive contract with nationwide offices to do bloodwork for them. The customers who rely on Quest are our family members, whether sick, elderly, some dealing with major medical issues, yet they might come here and have to deal with the BS that my family dealt with today. Just horrible. Hoping to figure out if there is actual management or staff supervision to bring this issue to.

The lab office is located right next to the Allied Pacific Wellness Center, but I had a hard time finding the place. Walked into a building with the address listed on the back of the lab sheet only to find that it was not there. After walking around and almost giving up to go to the location in Diamond Bar I finally found it. As I enter, there was no one at the front desk so I peeked in and a lady rudely asks me to take out my ID and insurance card, then yells at me to put signatures and initial. No hello, smile or any greeting at all. It felt like she hated her job a lot. Before proceeding to draw my blood she put on gloves, but no where in between did I see her wash or sanitize her hands before or even after getting the materials. My skin isn't that thick, so the veins are pretty visible from under my skin. I watched as she looked for a vein to poke the needle in and she seemed somewhat nervous. I noticed she tied the rubber band towards the lower part of my arm by the elbow. Initially, there was no pain or numbness at all. The bruising wasn't too bad as well, other than the site of where the needle was. After the blood draw she gave me a cup and told me to leave it on the counter in a basket somewhere. As I walked out she told me to drop it in the basket and hurriedly pushed me out so that she could lock the door right away without putting any signage. There were a few people who tried to come in after, but I don't think they ended up being able to go inside. My arm has been feeling numb and in pain every time I try to use my left arm to pick something up or if I touch it by accident. It has been over a week now and this has never happened to me out of all the times I have gotten a blood draw. My arm seems to be bruising up more and more as the days pass and I'm not sure if I should be worrying. This has been such a bad experience and I do not think I will ever return. The lady drawing my blood was so rude and did such a terrible job, leaving my arm all bruised up and numb. Not only that, but if she isn't washing or sanitizing her hands before and after drawing blood that is a major red flag. I would recommend staying away from this lab at all costs! The workers at the other labs are always friendly and nice at the other labs I go to and I wish I stuck with that instead of venturing out to try a lab I have not been to before. Well, at least now I know, never again.

My 93-year-old mother arrived 10 minutes early this morning for her 8:15 AM appointment. Early. With timestamped proof. But the front desk staff confidently, and incorrectly, declared she was "extremely late." Bold move, considering their computers apparently exist purely for decoration. When we tried to show them the evidence, they gave the universal "I don't get paid enough for this" eye roll and refused to even look. Facts? Evidence? Reality? Absolutely not. Not on their watch. Then, because nothing says "we messed up" like doubling down on arrogance, they made her wait 1 hour and 15 minutes as punishment for their mistake. A 93-year-old. Sitting. Waiting. Because staff couldn't be bothered to admit they were wrong. If you enjoy chaos, incorrect accusations, and customer service so bad it could be used in training videos labeled "Never Do This," this is your place. If not, consider literally any other LabCorp, or honestly, a dartboard and a home blood draw kit might be more accurate.

He is exceptionally knowledgeable, dissecting questions at different angles for his students/residents. He is also highly compassionate toward his patients. Whenever patients hesitate to take an annual scan out of fear, he would always encourage them to overcome their fear and inform them of the significance of regular screening. After my shadowing experience at SHM, I recommended Dr. Chang to my mom. As a first-gen immigrant, my mom has always been very anxious about seeing doctors in the US. But after her visit, she said Dr. Chang was very patient and informative. He insisted that my mom do a mammogram despite having done one back in China 6 months ago. The most recent mammogram reveals that there are suspicious masses! But thankfully, we were able to bring the situation under control due to early discovery. As a pre-med student, the shadowing experience was educational and encouraging. He is a fun and approachable guy and thoroughly answered all my questions about med school and application. As a family member to his patient, we are thankful for his professionalism and compassionate communication. I highly recommend Dr. Chang!

They keep saying: "oh, we're busy right now, we'll calling u back." It never happens. All lies. Zero calls back. Worst one, the NP was yelled and didn't even want to listen to the complain, and hung up. Waow! What a service! Super epic. They called, inform about "something" that wasn't a clear instruction, and wanted us to check with a neuro specialist. How to communicate with the next doctor, if the instruction I received wasn't clear? If u inform something to someone, and someone communicate it to someone else, and it became unclear what do you want, cannot give response back, get the hell out pls. Do it yourself. Don't care what u want anymore. When I asked, "nicely"... their response was: oh, we're VERY busy right now, we WILL call you back. PRETT!! "Liar!" And the NP was saying: "don't u understand that we're VERY BUSY!!" "You need to listen to me!" (When she's the one NOT listening!) (After I called 3x and waited for them to call back like almost 8 hours???) Don't u think I AM NOT BUSY MA'AM? I was "too busy" waiting for your response, just to ask, what do u want from the neuro? From the kidney doctor? What the hell u want? Explain it nicely, not so complicated ma'am "busy-in-the-world." I'm sure the doctor is a nice person, but NOT the ma'am NP! She's a fucking bullshit!!! Not a profesional at all. They tend to hanging up their phone OR just blocked u into a busy line, so when u called them, NOONE (like literally noone) will pickup the phone OR listen to your voicemails. Their phone is broken, just like their heart is broken. Probably, just come to their busy office, and see how "busy" they are blocking people's phones call to make a very QUIET room. Wow!! Applause to their profesionalism. That's how they got their profesional degree. Just blocking people's phone, and do prescription till their patient's kidney is broken.

He went over the instructions of the kit for the test I was having done, and already knew what to expect. He asked the right questions - "Are there ice packs with this one?" "Does it need to be centrifuged?" He was even such a pro he knew which cabinet door held my garbage can without looking. The poke itself was right on the money, nearly painless, and without complication. He took the kit with him to do the postal dropoff himself - it was included with his services. One less thing for me to have to do, which was appreciated. We shook hands, said goodbye, and that was that. He did not solicit me for a Yelp review. A lot of service providers will offer deals to customers in hopes of scamming their way into a good review - it's a red flag whenever I see it and it makes me mad for having wasted time reading reviews that were essentially bought. But Andre didn't do that at all, which is why I immediately got on my computer to write him a review anyway. He earned his reviews by being good at what he does. I'd use him again anytime.
