Half-assed, at best. Whether it's alterations or dry cleaning, you'll be paying to have someone else finish the job.

My wedding dress boutique did not offer in-house alterations, but I was provided a list of…read morepreferred vendors. After multiple attempts at communicating with those preferred vendors, there was 1 viable choice, but it was overpriced for what I needed and she ended up leaving me hanging on appointment availability anyway. Once that happened I took it upon myself to go on Yelp and find alternative solutions. Out of the next 2-3 choices I ventured out to, Nadia was the one I opted for because she was straight forward and was the only one who offered me 2 different bustle options - American (over) bustle or ballroom (under bustle). As a bonus, she was also 1/3 of the price of the wedding dress boutique's preferred vendor! Communications were all through Yelp messaging - clear cut for scheduling. Make sure for your fittings you always bring the shoes you'll be wearing for an accurate hem, etc. I opted for the ballroom bustle and Nadia numbered the attachments. During a subsequent fitting I had the MOB and MOH accompany me so they knew what to expect for doing the bustle on the day of the wedding. Forms of payment accepted are cash, card, and money sharing apps - I opted for Zelle.

Before coming in, I called to make sure they had experience sewing patches on a military uniform…read more They said yes, that they did it all the time. My husband brought in his uniform, patches, and printed out the specific instructions for them to use. I go to pick his uniforms up a few days later and my husband tells me that it's been done wrong. They sewed his name patch ON the pocket flap when the instructions specified that it belongs ABOVE the pocket flap. No branch of the military has the name patch sewn on the actual flap which led me to believe that they in fact did not have experience with military uniforms. They also cut the name patch incorrectly so it's no longer usable. We had to order new ones which cost $20, and they were back ordered. Great. We ended up getting a partial refund from the business, but were not reimbursed for the name patches. I'm sure this business does well with dresses and suits, but I'd probably go somewhere else for military uniforms, especially when you brought in a physical copy of instructions on where the patches go, that they didn't even look at.

So, for just only $60 and four days later, I returned to grab my jacket which was nicely fixed for me like I'd asked; on top of that; they also cleaned and washed the coat, which left me pleasantly surprised ! I was so overwhelmed with happiness and warmth of kindness of this , I gave a hug to the tailor and wore the jacket immediately afterwards ! Thank you for the efficient and excellent service . I would come back here to get more clothes tailored/fixed if needed.

I wanted to see if it was possible to alter my dress that I had or at least get a quote so I saw…read morethis place near by. The place is in hidden area so you might miss the turn driving on the Main Street. The parking lot is wide and some parking. I walked in and the owner is a little sweet Mexican lady. The store is a little small but had a lot of fabric and altered dresses on display. I told her what I needed so she offered me to change so she can see the dress. There is a small curtain dressing room in the corner of the store. After looking at the dress she kindly said it wasn't possible which I figured. But I had a pair of pants I needed to trim and I tried on that. There was a long mirror and she measured the trim height with a clip and asked if it was good height. She quoted me $12 on the hem. I entered all my information on the iPad and got an email confirmation. Three days later, I came back to pick up and she gave it to me. Now my pants are not too long and a good height. The trim looks nice too because I don't see any cuts or string. I say her prices are reasonable.
