Finally stopped in on a Saturday morning after wanting to do it since my husband and I met the owner at another family owned business in Oxford. The ladies behind the counter greeted us as soon as we came in and thanked us when leaving as well. I had a Chai Tea and it was delicious, my toddler had a chocolate doughnut with sprinkles and she almost finished it even though they are quite big. It is a very calm place to get some work done or just meet to catch up. They also sell from local farms like honey, soaps, elderberry syrup among other things. Will definitely stop by again when I'm in the area!

Loaded hot chocolates or frozen chocolates are a staple of this local coffee shop. There's also a wide variety of coffee styles and unique flavors. Don't like coffee? They also have fun Redbull drinks as well to give you your daily dose of caffeine. The pastries are brought in from local businesses to have a sweet treat with your beverage of choice. The baristas are all personable and helpful in giving suggestions of their personal favorite drinks There are also other displays of local goods from local vendors that you can purchase or cozy up with a book with the variety of indoor seating options.

This is a super cute shop! They went ALL OUT for Christmas. Everything is super festive and cozy. There is lots of indoor seating. The cafe is larger on the inside than it initially looks from outside. They have some locally made goods like soaps and candles for sale. They also have a fun "Take a Book, Leave a Book" library. They even had a cozy couch area surrounding a TV that was playing a Christmas movie. Overall, major chill and relax vibes. I was surprised and impressed by how large their menu was. They have so many drink options! Their list of syrup flavors was extensive. I ended up going with their seasonal snickerdoodle latte. It had a very pleasant toasted spice flavor and wasn't too sweet. I didn't end up getting any food but if I ever pass back by this way again I will absolutely check out more of their menu.

I was driving by and craved coffee. I ordered the flat white with coconut milk and their jalapeño red pepper bagel toasted with cream cheese.

Sweet spot! Main Street town feel. The sweetest people ever. The pastries were delightful. All the drinks carefully made to order and packaged. A place you feel comfortable to stay and read and sip all day.

Excellent atmosphere, friendly service, and Brittany makes a mean dirty chai latte! First time here, and I was blown away! I will definitely be a returning customer to try all of the staff's favorites. Today's visit has been a Wonderful experience. (Thank you Brittany and Thank you Sadie's!!)

Came here to get a coffee before heading to the Raleigh Road Drive-In to watch a movie! What an adorable place and great coffee! Had the iced lavender latte with oat milk! Soooooo good! Great little place so go check it out!

So, flashback summer of 2019... when my now boyfriend and I started talking and planning to meet up, he was taken aback by the fact that Henderson did not have a single cafe/coffee shop! "I looked up coffee in Henderson and all Google suggests are 3 McDonalds locations!! what is this town you live in and why lol (he lives in Durham)" UNTIL!! Sadie's finally came. Sadie's is a locally and veteran-owned business in downtown Henderson. They have all sorts of syrup/flavor you can add onto any hot or cold drink. I like that they have non-dairy milk options as well. They have special crafted drinks they make every season/occasion which are always fun! My go-to is their chai latte (I am not a big coffee drinker). One drawback that makes me choose Starbucks (Henderson got a Starbucks shortly after Sadies opened) over Sadies sometimes is that they do not have matcha latte and I am a matcha latte fanatic. (Hence 4/5 stars). Sadies also sells bread/pastry and other products from other local vendors. They have nice pet-friendly indoor and outdoor seating. Inside is very spacious and homey (fireplace, bookshelves, couches). They also have a meeting room that is free to reserve. A lot of my nursing school classmates used to do study group sessions at Sadies. The owner and staff are very friendly and welcoming. They also have a nice post-it board where you can choose to purchase a drink in advance for anyone! (Can be specific person or profession in general such as "1 tall coffee for a healthcare worker!). That is such a nice community touch. Pro Tip: some drinks they serve in mason jars which you can take home for yourself and get $1 off your drink everytime you bring it back for use!

However, noteworthy for this review is their catering. Yesterday they catered my daughter's sorority brunch (for 1200 people). Given the size and the hectic football weekend my expectations were for a cold unremarkable bagel. Boy, did they blow past my expectations. Somehow, they delivered warm delicious bagel sandwiches and the fruit- the fruit was something I would have expected out of a gourmet market. So happy to know they are not just a great little shop but also can offer delicious catered meals that impress. My daughter, who was in charge of picking up The order commented on how warm and helpful they were in the process. Great job, Brandwein's!

I loved the place's aesthetic; it truly captures the feel of a nice, no-frills NYC deli. The pricing felt a little high for the portion size of the breakfast sandwich, but not wildly unreasonable for a popular spot. I ordered the egg, cheese, and sausage on a cheddar jalapeño bagel. I'm admittedly picky when it comes to bagels as my family is from Jersey, so my standards are pretty set. While the bagel was good, it did feel a bit overhyped. As a visitor, I'm not sure what the local competition is like, but I was expecting more of that signature NY-style chewiness. Still, it was a solid option overall and clearly a fan favorite.

I've gotten three of their vegan bagel options, the vegan Kimchi Lox, the Lebanese Spicy Tofu, and the Vegan Bahn Mi. I think that the food isn't exceptional, but it's filling & again, they have some well done vegan options. The Lebanese Spicy Tofu was definitely the best of the three (but a big mess, beware!). The Vegan Bahn Mi (pictured) was good, but maybe a bit underseasoned. The vegan Kimchi Lox is of course also quite messy, but of course doesn't have any protein on it. In our experience, it's best to just order online, and then go pick it up at the time (due to the wait time). We will often get coffee at Liturgy or Foster, and then just walk over when it's time. It's inside Durham Food Hall, which is, unfortunately, always quite loud, but there are tables outside and a park nearby you can sit at if you'd prefer. Overall, one of the better vegan options in the food hall.

The food is good, I normally order a French toast bagel with the blueberry cream cheese which... they didn't have on the menu this time around. I needed food before my work out today so I stopped in and got a French toast bagel with turkey and cheese with muscadine cream cheese. Good sandwich, I had a great workout. I gave it 4 stars because, I personally don't like the bagels sitting out in uncovered baskets.
