I was in desperate need of caffeine for my drive to Greensboro and decided to support a local shop instead of a chain. Sadie's is a cute coffee shop with tons of working space and friendly staff. I have fallen in love with a Flat White so I ordered one but added Pecan Pie, which is one of the winter flavors. It was soooo good! I also ordered a cheese danish not realizing it had what tasted like a hint of cinnamon so unfortunately I didn't get to enjoy it. read more

5/13/25 we stopped in on the way down from vacationing in williamsburg Va . As we walked in to the shop the first thing we noticed is how clean and homely it was . We were greeted by some of the funniest baristas . The were extremely helpful in choosing drink selection . The coffee was exactly what I was looking for and I didnt even know what I wanted . They helped me make the best choice and made a very nice drink . The sitting area is quite large and comfy , the service is great . Will be back in the area in a few months and will definitely be stopping back in for a good drink . read more

Finally stopped in on a Saturday morning after wanting to do it since my husband and I met the owner at another family owned business in Oxford. The ladies behind the counter greeted us as soon as we came in and thanked us when leaving as well. I had a Chai Tea and it was delicious, my toddler had a chocolate doughnut with sprinkles and she almost finished it even though they are quite big. It is a very calm place to get some work done or just meet to catch up. They also sell from local farms like honey, soaps, elderberry syrup among other things. I've visited Sadie's Coffee Corner several times and have always had a generally average experience. However, today my daughter and her best friend had an experience that left me concerned. The girls woke up early this morning, grabbed Starbucks, and planned to head to the library to work on research papers due Monday, only to find it closed. Since Sadie's is close by and advertises open seating and free Wi-Fi, they decided to go there instead. Because they had each just spent over $10 on their drinks, they didn't want to waste them. They placed the drinks in the side pockets of their backpacks and brought them in, continuing to sip discreetly so as not to disrespect the café or disrupt any customers. After they had been sitting for about half an hour, a male barista approached their table. He immediately asked my daughter, "Are you drinking Starbucks?" She answered honestly and explained the situation. His response was, "You came in here drinking Starbucks, using our Wi-Fi, and didn't buy anything. Don't you think that's strange?" He then walked away. I've never known there to be a requirement at Sadie's to make a purchase in order to sit and work. The girls did not have their drinks out on the table, and they genuinely made an effort to be respectful. I simply found the way they were approached to be unnecessarily rude. If there is an expectation to purchase something in order to use the seating or Wi-Fi, that should be clearly communicated rather than advertised as open seating with no mention of conditions. read more

This is a super cute shop! They went ALL OUT for Christmas. Everything is super festive and cozy. There is lots of indoor seating. The cafe is larger on the inside than it initially looks from outside. They have some locally made goods like soaps and candles for sale. They also have a fun "Take a Book, Leave a Book" library. They even had a cozy couch area surrounding a TV that was playing a Christmas movie. Overall, major chill and relax vibes. I was surprised and impressed by how large their menu was. They have so many drink options! Their list of syrup flavors was extensive. I ended up going with their seasonal snickerdoodle latte. It had a very pleasant toasted spice flavor and wasn't too sweet. I didn't end up getting any food but if I ever pass back by this way again I will absolutely check out more of their menu. read more

I'm really excited for a coffee shop in Henderson. The place looks amazing. The equipment looks top notch but, and I apologize for it, I'm a bit of a coffee nerd. I do not drink flavored coffee so expect them simple and right. Please stock some whole milk. The texture and mouth feel will change a latte from tasting and feeling like microwaved skim to a beautiful experience. You've got the makings of a great shop but perfect the product. So, flashback summer of 2019... when my now boyfriend and I started talking and planning to meet up, he was taken aback by the fact that Henderson did not have a single cafe/coffee shop! "I looked up coffee in Henderson and all Google suggests are 3 McDonalds locations!! what is this town you live in and why lol (he lives in Durham)" UNTIL!! Sadie's finally came. Sadie's is a locally and veteran-owned business in downtown Henderson. They have all sorts of syrup/flavor you can add onto any hot or cold drink. I like that they have non-dairy milk options as well. They have special crafted drinks they make every season/occasion which are always fun! My go-to is their chai latte (I am not a big coffee drinker). One drawback that makes me choose Starbucks (Henderson got a Starbucks shortly after Sadies opened) over Sadies sometimes is that they do not have matcha latte and I am a matcha latte fanatic. (Hence 4/5 stars). Sadies also sells bread/pastry and other products from other local vendors. They have nice pet-friendly indoor and outdoor seating. Inside is very spacious and homey (fireplace, bookshelves, couches). They also have a meeting room that is free to reserve. A lot of my nursing school classmates used to do study group sessions at Sadies. The owner and staff are very friendly and welcoming. They also have a nice post-it board where you can choose to purchase a drink in advance for anyone! (Can be specific person or profession in general such as "1 tall coffee for a healthcare worker!). That is such a nice community touch. Pro Tip: some drinks they serve in mason jars which you can take home for yourself and get $1 off your drink everytime you bring it back for use! read more

I've got to say, this business brings a legitimate LIGHT to the town of Henderson, NC. The coffee, the service, the atmosphere! I cannot say enough great things about this place ! Although I've always visited there for coffee, their food that they have is decent, too! I'm a fan of their bread bowls ! I've had their Roasted Red Pepper and Gouda Soup! It's marvelous ! During the fall, they have a splendid Pumpkin- Honey Bun Cake! I've included pictures below ! In regards to coffee and hot drinks , I switch between the drip coffee, the frappes' and the cider!
