Oh, was I disappointed. I just tasted the cake batter protein supplement they put in. It was very chalky. We noticed they sell Herbalife, we're sure that's what the chalkiness was. Not a hint of strawberry or banana in the wife's smoothie, and I couldn't taste any blueberry or lemonade in mine. They also serve tea, so maybe next time we'll just stick to that idea.

Tastefully decorated- I was struck by the energy - the vibe of the owner & operator Mike and his lovely barrister- & it was fairly early in the morning. There are small tables and chairs and higher seated chairs at the counter. The decor tastefully arranged. - a winner in my book - I look forward to trying other menu options!

The space itself is nice--plenty of seating inside and out, a private room in the back, clean bathrooms and even a stage where live music was playing during our visit. But the food situation was confusing. They have a full kitchen and menu listed, yet when we arrived, they were only serving food from a BBQ food truck/side business. Not sure if it was a staffing issue, a special event, or just how they do things on certain days, but it definitely wasn't clear for someone just passing through. Beer-wise, they had a decent range of styles, but nothing really stood out flavor-wise. Everything was just... okay. Not bad, but not memorable. Service was similar--there seemed to be only one guy behind the bar running things while the rest were tied to the BBQ setup. He wasn't rude, just not super engaged. All in all, this place was fine, but nothing WOWed me. With a little more clarity on the food, a stronger beer lineup and more upbeat staff, it could be a much better stop for travelers passing through, or even the regulars.

It's located in the Clarion Hotel off of the exit. My husband and I were driving to a conference for our son and came across this on the way. We decided to stop here for lunch before arriving to our destination and it seemed pretty sketchy at first. It did look like that area use to not be a safe area. Anyways, I guess the name changed and ownership and we decided to get some "bar" lunch food to fuel up. I got one of their wraps with a side of onion rings, my hubby got their wings, and our son got some chicken tender and tots. The food came out really quickly and hot! It was REALLY good. Even my husband was shocked. The wings were cooked just right and the flavor was there. The tots had a very great crisp to it and the onion rings hit the spot for me. Very friendly staff and a lot of seats to choose from.
