We dropped in to Sadie's on a trip through the area one day, pulled in for breakfast, and BOOM -- quickly realized that Sadie's is an outstanding treasure! If you are ANYWHERE near Pine Bluffs and hankering for true Wyoming homecooking, you have to stop at Sadie's, which is clean, comfortable and a terrific place to relax and enjoy your food and coffee. Number one, the service is great, with a staff that makes sure you are happy from the minute you walk in until you leave. Number two, the food --super delicious, homemade breakfasts and lunches we've had are all super HUGE portions and absolutely yummy to the last crumb! And Number three, the prices are very reasonable and worth every penny. From pancakes to eggs to hamburgers to desserts, it is ALL good! I know, Pine Bluffs isn't the biggest tourist magnet in the West, but, if you are hungry and within a fifty miles of the area, you HAVE to stop at Sadie's, it is THAT good! read more

What a gem of a restaurant off of 80 West when crossing over from Nebraska to Wyoming. As we walked in, our server Kristy greeted us with a big smile and told us we could sit anywhere we liked. First impressions: the entire restaurant was sparkling clean as soon as we entered. We had to stop into the restroom and it was equally clean, which is always a good sign. The place was charming. with pictures of local attractions. We stopped in for breakfast and were not disappointed . My husband had the special on the board which was the fruit French toast and it was amazing I got to try a piece so I can attest to that. FRESH strawberries and blueberries, You could also choose raspberries and have all of them on there but he skipped the raspberries. I went simple for a ham and cheese omelette went Home Fries which were cubed potatoes that came with sourdough bread that was intertwined with four cut pieces that made for a nice presentation that I had never seen before. Our food was delivered hot and we were checked on a few times to see if we needed anything. Coffee cup never had a chance to get empty which was really nice when you're driving from Chicago to Oregon. They are known for their homemade cinnamon rolls that are quite large, however we were so full from breakfast that we decided to try one to go which will be our snack food as we're putting on the miles. Two of the cooks from the kitchen came out and they were equally friendly. What a great little slice of Americana. Great food, great people, great experience. If you pass this way, please patronize this restaurant. Small towns like this rely on tourists and you will be getting something great for your money. This has been the best experience of our journey so far after covering 900 miles. If that's not an honest endorsement, I don't know what else I can say to convince you to try this family restaurant. read more

My wife and I travel a lot and finally decided to do the RVing thing. With that said, we had the best breakfast from Sadie's we have had in a long time! I had the Rancher's breakfast and my wife a sample of a lot of things. The service was beyond 5 stars and the food? Cooked to perfection, local grown eggs, biscuits and gravy like my Grandmother used to make! So if you find yourself near Pine Bluffs, WY-jump off I-80 at exit 401 and head to W. 5th Street. Little cafe in a wee small town- but plenty of people here to enjoy the food. Service was quick and friendly. My BLT could have had a bit more bacon but it was still good. Hubby got a patty melt- could only eat half so it obviously it was big. The ham and potato soup was darn good. This cute restaurant has everything going for it. It's clean, organized, had friendly staff, and really good food! The menu has breakfast and lunch all day - which was a win for us. I ordered grilled cheese and onion rings. Our waitress pointed out that the chipotle ranch (and regular ranch) were house made. I usually eat my onion rings plain but this dip was so good I ended up using most of it. My husband took the rest for his breakfast potatoes and loved it with those AND his three-cheese omelette. The coffee was good and the little mini-creamers were varied and chilled. It's that kind of attention to detail that makes this place a truly great diner-style restaurant. Follow your GPS to Sadie's north through Pine Bluffs because there aren't any signs. If you want a traditional cinnamon roll for sure, you should call ahead and reserve one because they go fast. read more

We drove the 30 minutes from Cheyenne to Pine Bluffs just to try this restaurant. Had breakfast and was waited on by Sheila who was attentive and kept the coffee cups filled and more cream brought before I could ask. The place was clean and cute. I had the country fried steak, tender and well seasoned. Eggs were cooked as ordered, which is actually hard to find. Very few restaurants can actually cook an egg to order correctly. My sons both had an omelet. The eggs were fluffy, and it had the right amount of filling. Overall a solid omelette. The star of the show though was the cinnamon roll. Very soft, warm,(and not from a microwave). Cream cheese frosting, melt in your mouth. I think that was the best cinnamon roll I've ever had at a restaurant. It was also reasonably priced. The country fried steak was $13 which I thought was a good deal, and a $2.50 up charge to change the toast to a cinnamon roll. It was worth the trip, and it is our new breakfast place. Cheyenne really doesn't have very many good breakfast places, so this is definitely a find. read more

Sadies is a gem of a restaurant. Had a BLT the bacon was the best I've ever had, the salad was perfectly fresh, and the crust cut fries are the best I've ever tasted. The restrooms were spotless yes, Hot and Cold running water, restaurant extremely clean, very close to the highway.
