I got married in March 2015 and I left it a good 9 months before even thinking about getting my dress cleaned. My dress was absolutely filthy and had so many layers and detail too it, I was worried the stains wouldn't come out. Amir was very friendly and advised me that some of the stains may be difficult to remove. I was confident he knew what he was talking about and he took the time to go through the cleaning process with me. He never once pushed any prices/extra things onto me. Within a week or so I got a call to say my dress was ready to collect at anytime. Amir again took the time to show me my dress, it looked as good as new. All stains had been removed and I was amazed by the great care he'd taken. I've passed this store many times over the past few years, mainly due to its' central location, where most people will see it as they turn on their way to Rochdale from Middleton. From the main road, this store actually looks closed as the shutters always seem to be down, I'm going, to be honest, I always thought this was an abandoned building, however it is not and they seem to use the back entrance, the entrance is on the side facing the health centre and Tesco. Inside, it is pretty typical of a dry cleaners, it has a small area for customers to walk in, the rest is taken by the dry-cleaning business. In terms of being a MyHermes store, it is quite convenient and is one of the more convenient areas in the Sudden area of Rochdale. The woman who served me seemed quite friendly, she sorted my parcel out quite quickly, sadly the man had already been to collect the parcels prior to my arrival, which she had already informed me. I'm struggling with the rating, this is a nice place, decent dry-cleaners in the more convenient location than others being so close to Tesco, I also like the MyHermes feature, the service was okay but the overall feel that this place is an abandoned building as you pass it on the main road really does spoil it for me, also they seem to do all the dry cleaning themselves, rather than self-service which also would be nice to have the option, so i feel this place deserves a 3 star rating mainly for convenience through location with parking, friendly staff and the MyHermes parcel shop feature.

Only concern was regarding a zip. Upon delivery of the service the leather has been dried out, the colour has faded and the brand new jacket looks to have aged years. Do not use this service for any suede they clearly cannot do this to any reasonable quality. **Note, after the store response we did take it to the retailer where it was pointed out to me that the store have admitted to dry cleaning a jacket that specifically states no dry cleaning - specialist leather clean only, which I might add is what we ordered ** (I have attached photo's in case of future edits) As such they have assured that the cleanings service is at fault and I am unable to take up any concerns with the retailer.*** This was due to a google response.
