When we moved to the area we were regulars at The Steamie and sometimes we were taking 3 or 4 bags of laudry over. For those 3 or 4 bags we were charged just £10.70, admittedly we provided our own powder and softner but even so this was a very good price. Don't forget that includes drying and you are not having to sit there doing it all yourself. You can of course do it all by yourself and The Steamie has numerous washers and dryers to accomodate all. There is a drinks machine for those who are staying for any length of time. Whats more is that The Steamie also offers an ironing service and they quoted us £11 for 30 garments. Again this is most reasonable in my opinion. I have only ever seen one girl in there but she has always been nice and pleasant whenever i have spoken to her.
