I cannot rave enough of Dr. Brandon Holyoak!!!!! Dentist have never been my thing. With my already existing anxiety- You say dentist, my heart starts racing and I might even start sweating. Because of this I had avoided the dentist for 4 years!!!! So when I started getting minor aches and pains on a Friday, I ignored them and thought they would pass. On Saturday I couldn't even eat bread because the pain was so intense. Sunday morning I was crying in pain and was contacting friends to find a good dentist that would help me to the best of their abilities. Brandon was the guy. I called the office on a Sunday and voicemail told me to directly call Dr.Holyoak on his cell phone. I did so, and he saw me that day... on a Sunday!!! He kept me calm, he gave me my options and his 7 year old daughter even held the suction while he extracted my tooth. I've never experience so much pain from a toothache in my life... and within 5 hours the pain was completely gone. I will be scheduling with Dr. Holyoak from now on for any of my dental care!! It's so great to know there is still dentists/doctors out there that really care about the patient and their needs. read more

WORST DENTIST I HAVE EVER BEEN TO. will bill insurance for procedeures that never happned, very unkind staff, super unhelpful.. this is one small business you run from.. not walk... if they are willing to commit fraud what else are they willing to do. read more

We are being charged a $50 no show fee for missing an appointment after loosing my 35 year-old brother in a tragic car accident. When I called they said they could legally do it and did not offer to wave it. Heartless and unprofessional to loose clients over $50. I was also denied the ability to speak to the office manager. It's a shame because Dr. Kevin is a good dentist and I'm going to assume he has no idea this has happened. read more

I have been going to Saddle Rock Dental for 6 years now. Dr. Kevin Smith along with his entire staff have been amazing. I recently had my first root canal and needless to say I was pretty anxious about it. Dr. Smith was very calming and the procedure was painless and quick. Highly recommend! read more

Amazing experience from the start. Office was clean, warm and inviting. The staff accommodated an emergency visit! Dr. Smith was awesome and honest! read more

Cannot say enough good things about Dr. Smith and his team! For years I have had dental anxiety(as most do). Dr. Smith was the FIRST out of 6 dentists to ease my anxiety AND pain. The quality of the work is also better than any dentist I've had between the two states I've lived in. Not once have I went to this office and had any issues. From the front desk staff to the hygienists they are the friendliest people. It truly gives that "family dental" vibe rather than those corporate shams. My smile has never been better and my anxiety has never been lower. read more

Saddle Rock Dental - General Dentistry Near Me - Centennial, Colorado

Dr. Hoalyoke was great. Dr. Smith seems nice enough, but I have changed dentists. During my last visit at Saddle Rock Dental, Dr. Smith examined me for about 2 minutes, told me I had two cavities that needed to be filled right away. I put it off until I had insurance, then decided to go to a different dentist to see what they said. What do you know, nothing about any cavities. That was a year ago, just had another check up with x-rays, still no cavities. read more

Update on the review above: I went to another dentist who filled my small cavity and said all looked good. Kind of suspicious, don you think? read more

Dr. Holyoak was a phenomenal dentist and ran this business wonderfully. My experience with him and his team was great. Now that the business is run by Dr. Smith., my entire family (5 customers) have left and will never return. The office staff is awful, unorganized and beyond rude. I don't think a single staff member that was originally employed during the transition from Dr. Holyoak to Dr Smith has remained employed because of how awful it is run now. Prices are now through the roof for a teeth cleaning and increased by $90 from one cleaning to the next with no warning. So sad. read more

I was going to this practice for 34 years when the father, Dr. Vern Smith owned it. After the son took over it went down hill. I had a crown done by Kevin Smith in February 2023 and instead of him taking care of the placement he had his assistant do it which the crown fell out and I almost swallowed it. Went back in she placed it back and by the next day it was lose again! I was angry and called, told the office I want Kevin to put it in this time because I was paying for him to do it! When I went into the office to have him place it in he belittled me in front of the assistant saying what a good job she did. If she had done a good job it would not have fallen out twice!! Right?? I left the practice in March 2023. Bill paid in full, no balance. I paid my part of the bill before I walked out of the office and my excellent insurance paid the rest. 1 year and 1 month later, April 2024 I receive a bill from his office for $187.00. NO EXPLANATION FOR WHAT I AM RECEIVING THIS BILL FOR. I HAVE A COPY OF THE BILL FROM 2023 showing it was all paid in full! I found a wonderful new dentist who really cares and actually he does the work on his patients! On March 16, 2024 the crown that fell out twice that Kevin put in fell out again while I was flossing. That makes 3 times the same crown has fallen out that Kevin Smith placed in my mouth in 1 year. The new dentist placed it back in and it has never felt better! I will be contacting the BBB and the dental association about what has gone on with me and Kevin Smith's practice. Kevin puts his father's practice to shame. When the staff that his father had for many years leaves after Kevin takes over, has something to say about the way he treats his patients and staff! read more

I have to say that I am very disappointed in Saddle Rock after my daughter's last visit. Our family has been with this practice since '06 and it was always a pleasurable experience seeing Dr's Vern Smith and Holyoak. However (and military be aware), they are not currently registered with FedVip so are considered an out-of-network provider. My 19 year old daughter went there a couple of weeks ago, and was informed of such, but being 19 and still very naive regarding health care billing matters, she has no idea what the front office staff was telling her. I now have to pay an out-of-network bill and when I called to inquire about the bill and their FedVip status, I was left extremely frustrated and felt a genuine lack of concern for our health or financial well-being. read more

Stay away from this place, the review before me is true. I had the same experience. I had a filling done in this office that came out while I was flossing. I came in to get it re-done. Just few months later it started hurting so I came in to get it looked at. The newer doctor said himself that it looked like Dr, Smith didn't do the filling very well and that the cavity still existed underneath the filling and that I would have to get a root canal because of the poor job Dr.Smith did. I got a root canal and instead of putting in a crown as they should have they just put in a giant filling which quickly deteriorated. Also they did a filling on another tooth during the procedure which not only also came out by ended up cracking my tooth. Fortunately I have moved and found a much better dentist since who has also commented on the poor quality of Dr.Smith's work and has been fixing all of his errors. This is unacceptable, YOU ARE JEOPARDIZING PEOPLE'S HEALTH and putting them through unnecessary physical pain. read more

Save yourself the time and headache and look somewhere else for a dentist. Dr. Holyoak was wonderful, but it seems to have gone down hill after he left the practice. I was told I needed to have a few fillings and was hesitant to do so because of cost, yet it felt that the doctor was pushing me to get them. I decided to get them just to be safe. I asked very specifically what the cost would be, so they ran my insurance and printed a sheet that told me what I would owe. I asked if there would be any additional charges or if I would get billed for anything after the fact and was told very clearly, no, what I saw on the sheet in front of me was what I would have to pay for the fillings. Fast forward 3 months later and I receive a bill in the mail for the same service I already paid for. I am very disappointed in this office and their business practices. I would not recommend to anyone unless Dr. Holyoak returns . read more

I went to this office as a new patient today and had a great experience! (You know, as far as dentist visits go) I had x-rays and a routine cleaning and seeing as I don't have dental insurance it was such a fair price. The entire staff was so friendly and I'm glad we've found a good dentist office for our family! read more

By far, the best dental care I have ever received. Everyone on staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Brandon is great, he takes the time to talk through everything with you and address all your concerns. I cannot speak highly enough about this office! read more

I'm not saying that it was on purpose, but the evidence is not helping them. Actually, I AM. Prove me wrong, Dr. Smith. Dr. Vern Smith renewed the filling in a molar that was bothering me. Two-three weeks later it started hurting again, so I go to different dentist to take a look at this molar. He said the filling looked like it was 20 yrs old and was leaking - it was only 3 weeks old!!! He started drilling out the composite and found THREE OBVIOUS, UNMISTAKABLE cavities underneath! UNMISTAKABLE as in "a monkey could see them". I'm SO disappointed (and disgusted) to think this dentist AND his hygienist [who filled the tooth after he removed the mercury filling] would purposely leave three cavities. Obviously, the evidence suggests that they were setting me up for a root canal on the tooth. This wasn't just a cosmetic error, this was MY HEALTH they were screwing with. Dental status affects the rest of your health (e.g., gingivitis can lead to organ disease; bacterial endocarditis, etc.). I don't know how he sleeps at night. So, choose your dentist carefully. A medical error is one thing, but total malpractice/negligence is another. "UNMISTAKABLE!!!" If you've had a root canal SOON AFTER they did a filling, now you know why. Hope this helps others who have experienced this with this dentist or before someone picks this dentist. FOR SHAME!!! Hey, remember this, Dr. Smith? "If I do not violate this oath, may I enjoy life and art, respected while I live an remembered with affection thereafter. May I always act so as to preserve the finest traditions of my calling and may I long experience the joy of healing those who seek my help." ------------------------- I was thinking to not publish this review, but I've changed my mind due to the following. UPDATE: Just got back from the new dentist for a visit for my son (who was billed for sealants earlier this year from Saddle Rock Dental). SURPRISE SURPRISE SURPRISE! Where are the sealants, Dr. Smith? F'N Bastard! AVOID THIS DENTIST/OFFICE!!! You've been warned. read more

I am so shocked while reading these reviews. I absolutely agree with these two one stars and I feel so embarrassed I went here in the first place and wasted so much money. Vern and Holyoak are nice men, however, I cant help but feel they are a**h*les for what they did to us. I went in for two cavity fillings and right off the bat they told me I needed a root canal on one and a crown on the other. So after the painful filling where my root canal was gonna go, they told me to come back. I went back for the crown which was a mistake because the cavity was in between two teeth as I found out from another dentist so the crown was a waste. When I asked my new dentist if I needed a root canal, he said no because the filling is just "leaking" and wasn't placed properly. He did it and about two weeks later everything was fine but SRD kept calling for me to come in and get my root canal done, in which I finally told them to lay off. They are scammers for sure and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I'm still paying off some bogus bills I think are made up so I might have to take greater action. Stay away from here!! read more

I went to this office as a new patient last week and had excellent service. The receptionist was super friendly and I barely had time to finish my paperwork before they were ready for me! When I called back the following day to provide some insurance information they knew who I was without me even saying my name! read more

I made a dentist appointment, but I never saw the dentist. The hygienist spent most of my time doing x-rays, and told me I would need to come back to speak to the dentist, because he wasn't there to look at them. The x-ray equipment was old. The cleaning was rushed due to the time spent with the x-rays. They were very pushy about a follow-up appointment, even though I clearly told them I would have to look at my schedule and let them know. The billing got messed up with my insurance. I won't be returning. read more

I have been a patient of Dr, Smiths for over twenty years and have always received outstanding care. His staff is professional and compassionate. He is the only dentist my children who are grown now have ever seen. He is the most honest and ethical person I have meet. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a dentist. My husband who is uncomfortable going to the dentist loves him. My family and I truly appreciate him. thank-you Dr. Smith read more

I had a perfect experience being a new patient. What a caring and passionate dental office. My dental hygienist was fantastic and experienced! She made me feel extremely comfortable. Dr. Holyoak was amazing. He was very welcoming and actually sat down and took the time to have a conversation with me. You can tell that he is passionate about his practice and is not concerned about just making money like other corporate dental offices. Overall, I am so glad I chose Dr. Holyoak and his dental office. I am actually looking forward to my next visit! I highly recommend Dr. Holyoak and his team! read more
