Ordered the lengua, carne asada, and carnitas tacos. All three were really tasty but my favorite was the lengua! The meats had so much flavor and were very juicy, I also liked how the tortillas were thin and crispy. Chips and salsa were good as well, they had a variety of salsas to choose from.

Came for a taco Tuesday vibe. They have a menu M-F 3-6pm happy hour prices each item on the small menu is $8. The taco plate come with two tacos. Same for the birria taco plate. I went with the carnitas tacos and the birria and Tommy's traditional margarita. Overall the food was really good. The carnitas were super yummy and the birria was juicy and cheesy with a large side of consume. The trío salsa is your basic chips and salsa. The restaurant has a few other patrons inside. Not overwhelming. They also have tvs playing different shows on the wall. One of the patrons asked the server to put a football game in and the server was kind enough to do that for them. I'll definitely go back for the happy hour prices, such a good deal and good food.

This is a cute restaurant on Union st with a back patio (that was unfortunately closed when I went). The food was good, but I prefer some other Mexican places in SF. Plus, the prices were really high. I think they have a unique menu with some fun flavor combos and a happy hour which I didn't try, so it would be worth coming back for that. I appreciated the complimentary chips & salsa which tasted fresh, and the service was lovely. Overall, it was chill but I think there are other restaurants for a comparable price range in the area that might pull my attention more.

It's definitely a scary place 1. Gave my vegetarian friend the wrong order, so they gave him meat 2. They charged us double on accident. We had to wait an extra 20 minutes to get that resolved. 3. Tacos were small, not worth the price. Average sized taco for 2x the average, assuming average is like 3.5 bucks. Tasted average too.

Walked in on a Friday around 4pm. Staff were really friendly and welcoming of my dog. There are many seats inside and on the patio. It was Happy hour so everything we ordered was $8. A really great deal for decent meal in the Marina! I got two margaritas, the rum horchata, mexi-kale salad, 2 taco plates and a quesadilla. I really enjoyed the mexi-kale salad. Really great flavor and fresh ingredients. I also enjoyed the buttered shrimp taco. The fish taco had great sauces and Cole slaw but I found the fish to be ok. I also asked for the salad to come with no cheese but they added it in.

We came here on a Wednesday afternoon and got very friendly and attentive service, a perk of coming into an empty spot. We're suckers for duck and lamb so the duck confit (2 orders - 1 each @ 9$?) and lamb birria (1 order - 2ea @ $19) were obvious choices. Messy, but delicious. Very cute space and I loved getting a peek at their back patio. The bathrooms were super clean and they provide industrial napkins for all taco related messes. Love and will definitely be back!

happy hour (HH) 3-6 pm weekdays $8 everything on HH menu kinda limited but enough to snack. more fitting for light bites and drinks. free chips n salsa HH margarita: 3.5/5 tasted like a happy hour margarita what can I say? I'll take it for $8--esp in this economy dragon fruit margarita $12: 2/5 bc it wasn't happy hour but it still tasted exactly like my happy hour margarita. couldn't taste dragon fruit at all. HH Oaxacdelphia Taco $8: 4/5 damn this is a piled taco. the carne asada was fire, grilled perfectly. very heavy with the oaxaca cheese, but still delicious. HH El Pollo Taco Plate $8: 2/5 comes with 2, but wasn't yummy. very plain, stacked with boiled chicken. if you need protein, it's great. tastes nowhere near authentic though, but it's happy hour!! can't complain! Service: one server manning the register and all the tables (about 5 parties) during happy hour. Got everything pretty quick. He was a very kind server!! Ambiance: cute place, natural light, fun area to visit if you wanna go to other happy hour spots on this street.

Liked the experience here! It was pretty empty during a late-ish lunch and we got very prompt service. We got complimentary chips and the salsas were yum!! We really liked the 5 tacos for $25 and it was such a good deal! I tried the fried avocado taco and the nopales. Really liked both but liked the avocado one the best!! The nopales one was super garlicky which was yum. My friend tried some of the meat tacos and she liked them as well!! Overall, pretty good! Will be open to coming back!

Stopped by Sacred Taco for a late lunch and had a great experience. There was only one person working--handling the front, serving, and bartending--but he managed it all with ease and a good attitude. Thankfully it wasn't too busy, so service still felt relaxed and attentive. He made a great recommendation for which mushroom to include in the vegetarian enchilada, and the fried avocado taco was also a standout--crispy, creamy, and super satisfying. The real winner, though, was the habanero salsa. It had the perfect level of heat--spicy, but not overwhelming--and added a great punch to every bite.

Stepped in around 4:30 pm during a Friday happy hour. Had 2 tacos and 2 birrio tacos for $8 each. Friendly bartender. We were the only customers for a bit as the rain died down. Will check it out again!

Specialize in tacos! 3 for $15 happy hour tacos and half off margaritas for the win! Their tacos are nicely cooked and juicy. Their lamb birria was top notch and gourmet. Service was friendly. They provided chips and salsa. Fun place for casual dining with yummy tacos and drinks.

we recently went to a concert nearby and had made a quick decision to eat a quick Dinner here. We had reservations at another place, but decided to eat here since it looked quick and easy. it looked small and cozy and had a Bar and a patio. It seemed like a chill evening but lot a patrons inside and a nice Saturday like vibe. We had decided to get the trio Salsas and preuse the menu. We wound up getting 2x Pork belly Tacos and the 5x for $25 tacos deal. We chose Lengua/ Shrimp/ Nopalos/ Carnitas/ and Al Pastor. The server was friendly and was very efficient and also informative. She had also let us know the menu and explained the Specials. All of the food was tasty and the Salsa on the trio "habanero" had a kick. Definitely a low key spot but the tortillas seemed homemade and portion was perfect for the price. The place is smack dabbed on Union in the Marina District which is perfect and easy to find a place when you're Hankering for a quick Drink and Bite.

For once in my life, I was forced to eat like a civilized man. On the outside, everything looked normal, but in the inside it was anything but normal: I had to open my third eye center so that I could ascend my primal instinct of going to town on this burrito. Equipped with a knife, I sawed thru that behemoth methodically - too fast and she would burst open, too slow & she would give me the cold side eye. I am the burrito slayer. Cash only, was very very well priced for the size (about $13. Receipt didn't make it out alive).

I have dined here many times in the past, and this is a cash-only restaurant. I ordered the Regular Burrito with Beef Steak ($10.25). The regular burrito comes with a flour tortilla, rice, beans, salsa, onions, and cilantro, plus your choice of meat or vegetarian. Meat choices listed on the menu: * Al Pastor - Marinated Pork * Carnitas - Deep Fried Pork * Chile Verde - Pork Green Sauce * Chorizo - Mexican Sausage * Carne Asada - Steak * Lengua - Beef Tongue * Pollo - Chicken * Cabeza - Beef Head * Tripas - Intestines I asked the cashier which meat was most popular, and he recommended the beef steak, which had a slight hint of spiciness. The burrito came with pinto beans and rice. I forgot to ask if I could substitute black beans. The burrito wasn't too salty, and the beef steak was just okay. I also think the $10.25 Carne Asada burrito is a good deal. At other taquerias, carne asada is often an additional charge or the burrito costs more when you choose steak. I usually ask for a receipt even when paying cash. When I checked my receipt, I noticed I was charged an additional $0.25 for "Bolsa To Go" (bag) even though I was dining in and didn't receive a to-go bag. It's not about the $0.25, but I think it's important for a business to have integrity and charge customers only for what they actually receive. I hope this isn't something being charged to other dine-in customers as well. Overall, I would come back to try a different meat, but next time I'll make sure to clearly say dine-in and check my receipt to make sure I wasn't charged for a to-go bag.

A lot of people mentioned about the service, the mole, and birria. I am a big fan of birria tacos so I decided to give it a try. Because I would be coming from Philadelphia, I called to see if they have a reservation. Jose, the owner, who answered my call was super friendly and nice. He said that there's no reservations but he promised to secure some seats for us because the week prior they were really busy. At that point I knew that the service would be excellent. When I got there Jose and staff were super welcoming as if we've known each other for a long time. He gave 2 small plates of rice, red enchilada sauce, green enchilada sauce, mole with chicken tinga, and birria. Everything is super flavorful and authentic. It transported me to Mexico because I could taste the homemade cooking in it and the passion and love in preparing this amazing food. They take pride in the quality of their cooking. Both the chicken tinga and birria meat are tender and fresh. You can order the food at the touch screen at the counter. You can select your preference for the filling. My friend asked to separate the meat from the tortillas and separate consommé. Jose gladly accommodate her special request. Definitely above and beyond service. They provide complimentary chips and salsa. The chips are fresh and thin with 2 green sauce and two red ones. The staff warned us that the red onesie are hot. The salsa is very fresh and homemade. The mole sauce has a flavor that I can't find anywhere else. I could taste the chocolate but not very sweet. It's very unique and delicious. The red and green enchilada sauce are also phenomenal . Not too salty, yet light and packed with flavor. Their birria tacos are now one of my top ones that I've ever had. Very flavorful and not salty. Definitely recommend it. Guacamole is also a good appetizer because it is very fresh. The restaurant is clean with seatings at the front and back of the restaurant.
