Jonathan and team completely transformed our backyard in under a month. They installed a new lawn, TimberTech deck, native plants, irrigation and drainage, lighting, and tied our existing front-yard irrigation into the new system. The design process was easy and affordable, and Jonathan was on site every day. He was communicative, thoughtful, and paid attention to the little details throughout the project. The whole crew was great to have around and kept everything clean at the end of each day. They even did a thorough final cleanup of the windows and doors around the yard. What we appreciated most was that their care didn't stop once the project was finished. They came back to fix a faulty sprinkler head and later trenched along the grass by the deck when we realized skunks were trying to get underneath. We love how the backyard turned out and how much more we actually use the space now. We'd absolutely recommend Herencia and happily work with Jonathan and team again.

I found them on Yelp and chose them after getting four other quotes. From the beginning, they stood out for their professionalism, responsiveness, detailed proposal, and fair pricing. Ale was fantastic to work with. She was quick to respond, answered all my questions, and made what could have been a stressful project feel smooth and well organized. Once construction started, Jonathan and his team were excellent. They arrive promptly each day and cleanup well. Jonathan is knowledgeable, professional, and clearly takes pride in his work. What stood out most was his communication and transparency. He provided daily updates, either by text or in person, walking me through the progress and explaining what was coming next, which gave me a lot of confidence throughout the project. I also really appreciated his fantastic customer service and follow-through. For example, the game light I purchased arrived broken from the manufacturer, and Jonathan came back promptly after the project was finished to install the replacement once it arrived. The entire project took about a week, and the final result exceeded my expectations. The court and surrounding landscaping look amazing, drain properly, and have completely transformed our backyard. Seeing my son excited to play on it every day makes it even more worth it. I highly recommend Herencia Landscaping to anyone looking for high-quality, reliable, and professional outdoor work. I would definitely hire them again.

We contacted Artscape and from the get-go, Ben responded promptly. Ben asked us to fill out a landscape needs/wants questionnaire which provided him with a general idea of our vision. My wife wanted more of a succulent dominant landscape whereas I wanted more color and plant textures. Ben spent a considerable time incorporating our thoughts into a cohesive plan and a landscape design to fit our topography and climate. This was a dynamic process with a lot of communication. With our budget in mind, Ben provided alternative plant choices and explained the reasoning in a thoughtful, kind, and professional manner. Ben is an excellent communicator and designer. Once we agreed on the plan, Oscar and Melvin completed the installation. They were always on time, worked tirelessly and surpassed our expectations of professionalism. We received status updates at each milestone and were informed on what work was to take place leading to the next milestone. During the install, they found some leaks in our irrigation system and fixed the leaks. Oscar went above and beyond to help us find and install a modern sprinkler monitoring system which is working wonderfully. We love our new front landscape and updated backyard landscape. Even our neighbors have remarked how much they love looking at the new landscape! We highly recommend Artscape! Ben's leadership and creativity in the design are unsurpassed, and Oscar and Melvin's plan execution produced a beautiful landscape which we will enjoy for years to come.

I was looking to redo my backyard since it was a little outdated and my old deck was starting to fall apart. Not only did Flores call me back right away, but they also quickly scheduled a consultation appointment and did a thorough walkthrough to show me their recommendations and ideas. I went with everything they suggested and I couldn't be happier. The finished product (new pavers, turf, plants, lighting, etc.) looks amazing. It feels like I have a high-end yard that matches my recently remodeled house. And the best part: their pricing is very competitive! I didn't pay an exorbitant amount and still feel like my new backyard looks expensive. Flores finished the job in only a couple weeks and the work team was at my house every day. I am so, so happy with the results and can't wait until they can come back and redo my front yard next. Hire this company immediately if you're looking for a landscape job. You will be very pleased.

The finished project exceeded our expectations, and we couldn't be happier with the results. The entire project took about nine months, with roughly half that time spent navigating Los Angeles County's permitting and approval process. Picture Build's permit coordinator did an excellent job keeping everything moving and minimizing delays. The demolition phase was exceptional. Luis and his crew removed our old pool in a neighborhood where heavy equipment wasn't an option, so most of the work had to be done by hand. Their skill, professionalism, and attention to detail were impressive. Once demolition was complete, a talented team of craftsmen brought our vision to life. They poured new concrete, built a beautiful stacked-stone retaining wall, and installed stunning travertine pavers throughout the patio. The quality of their workmanship is outstanding. Our project manager, Jorge, kept both the demolition and construction phases running smoothly. Like any major project, we encountered a few minor challenges, but every issue was resolved quickly and professionally by Jorge or John Durso, the company's general manager. Special thanks as well to Max, our electrician, and Brian, the quality control supervisor and all-around problem solver, for their dedication and attention to detail. The final transformation is incredible. What was once an aging pool is now a beautiful, inviting outdoor living space where our family loves spending time together. Picture Build delivered exceptional craftsmanship, professionalism, and customer service throughout the entire project.

We were just recycling things we found around the property and plants that friends gave us. Melanie came to our rescue! She spent the better part of a morning walking around with us, discussing our entertaining habits and desires, and giving us pointers. She remembered the images I'd emailed her from my Pinterest that showed various looks that we liked. We sat down with her as she did the drawing, and she really pointed us in some great directions. Our drawings and plans reflect moving things and planting things to better accommodate the way we like to live and spend our time. She also kept in mind our plan to do most of the work ourselves over time. She brought up cost-effective and water-effective options for accomplishing many of our goals. After our meeting, she followed up with emails of the pictures she had shown us for ideas during the meeting. We did have a little trouble scheduling the meeting, but I always assume that talented people are overwhelmed with business, and that was definitely the case here. However, in the actual meeting and during our phone calls, she never once seemed rushed or impatient. If we need more detailed plans at any point, Melanie will most definitely be the person we turn to! Great overall experience.

So it's about a year and a half since the redo and things are not looking that great. Despite doing some extra hand watering, spreading some Scotts Lawn fertilizer a few times the lawn is fading away. In some places the grass is completely gone from the base dirt it was part of. On a project of this scale, finding a contractor you can genuinely trust to deliver top-tier build quality without cutting corners is rare, but Edgar and his team delivered on every front. They managed to execute the job efficiently and move fast without ever making the work feel rushed. Edgar approaches every aspect of the build with a true "measure twice, cut once" mentality, ensuring every detail was carefully thought out well before the concrete was poured. What truly sets Edgar apart from other contractors is his transparency and client-first mindset. Rather than making unilateral calls or pushing options that benefit his own bottom line, he presented every decision with clear options and thoughtful pros and cons. He never nickel-and-dimed small adjustments or weaponized formal change orders just to inflate the bill. Additionally, his crew was exceptionally professional, courteous, and respectful. As a landlord managing a property with tenants on-site, this was invaluable. While many contractors disregard tenants because they aren't the paying client, Edgar's crew treated everyone on the property with complete respect and care. Platinum Paving offers remarkably competitive pricing, but more importantly, the value and quality of their craftsmanship far exceed the rate they charge. If you have a large-scale project, especially on a rental or multi-unit property, do yourself a favor and get a quote from Platinum Paving before making a final decision. I highly recommend them!
