Good food and good location! Not much left in marketplace in San Ramon so was happy to see this place finally re-opened after pandemic. Service was fast, the staff is friendly and the sushi is delicious.... What else can I ask for?!!

Ordered bento box for lunch. Choice of two items - beef and tempura. Ambience ... very pleasant.

Me with the sushi Sashimi Lovers boat

Came here recently with one of my friends cause we were craving sushi. We had always wanted a sushi boat and we had noticed they offered the sashimi lovers which comes on a boat with delicious sashimi on it. So we were all in! We happened to come right at opening time at 5 and quickly the restaurant was filling up shortly after. The people working here were so kind and helped us right away. It came with complimentary soup and salad which were also very tasty and they brought it out quick! We also ordered some edamame and it had a garlic added on which was tasty. The sashimi lovers boat came out quick too! It was filling, we probably could have skipped the edamame and still been full between the two of us but we were happy we got it. The sashimi was very fresh and tasted amazing. Lots of tables, clean and modern atmosphere. We really enjoyed it and would love to come back again. I'm not sure why the overall rating is only 3.5 or so because it was such a great spot and deserves a higher rating, they get a 5 from us! Definitely check them out if your craving sushi in the area.

Came back as its been awhile. Still consistent whether bento box or sushi. My fav bento is chicken teriyaki, tempura and CA roll. That was satisfying. The sushi roll was good. Just be ready to be patient as they are short staffed. Sushi chefs busy as the two older ladies are hosting, taking orders, etc. Service is pretty much order as soon as they come as one other woman she just walked by when we arrived. And the other ladies are hustling.

Went for dinner Saturday night with my family to Sachi Sushi. We hadn't been there since pre-pandemic. We were craving some nearby Japanese food and Sachi Sushi did not disappoint any of us! They were busy as expected on a Saturday night but we were seated right away to a nice clean table for four people. The staff was friendly and attentive. We ordered multiple appetizer items (eg. agedashi tofu, vegetable tempura), multiple rolls (eg. spicy tuna roll, avocado & cucumber roll, dragon roll, yasai roll), pan fried garlic udon noodles and chicken katsu dinner entree. We couldn't resist and ordered mango mochi ice cream for dessert. Everything was delicious and Sachi Sushi definitely hit the spot! We all left with happy bellies :)

    Sushi Set B Lunch Special

Good service experience, and the food was mediocre. The husband and I decided to check out this plaza in San Ramon and we stopped by Sachi Sushi for lunch to try something new. There's a good amount of seating indoors, and we didn't see any outdoor seating. We got seated quickly and were given our waters and menu quickly as well. We ordered the following - Bento - with chicken katsu and beef. It comes with rice, miso soup, and salad. This one looked nice and it tasted decent. The foods within it didn't stand out, but it wasn't terrible. Sushi Set B - comes with the daily roll - they called it a poki roll or something along the lines, and it was supposed to be a bit spicy, but it was rather bland, mostly with rice flavor. It also comes with several pieces of nigiri - tuna, salmon, shrimp, and a couple lighter pieces of fish. So a 6 piece roll + 5 pieces of nigiri. Not bad, but like another reviewer mentioned, some of the fish didn't look really fresh. There was some kind of dullness behind it. Again, it didn't taste terrible, but there wasn't much flavor to it. The sushi set came with miso soup and salad as well. I checked in on Yelp and the 1 free small house sake came up, so I asked about that, and were told that they knew nothing about it as they don't deal with Yelp so they weren't able to honor it. Fine with me, I appreciate the response, but still see it on this page lol. Service was overall good, just a bit disappointed with the food. Perhaps an off day? Dunno.

Went to San Ramon for a concert and decided to eat first and found Sachi Sushi. Looks like there are a lot of good places to eat in this area. Got seated and ordered miso soup, Paradise roll and Dragon roll and Pan Fried Garlic Udon. By the way, I think she forgot our miso because I have to check and ask her halfway our meal when the other table got theirs and they came and ordered after us. Everything taste good. Service was okay. Place is clean. Note that the free small sake is not available anymore. I tried to claim it but the lady apologized that they don't honor those. Not a big deal but they should contact yelp (maybe) to take it down so that people dont get confused especially if it's been going on for so long.

    Chirashi
    Larry L.

Dined in at Sachi Sushi for the first time since the pandemic started. I had the Chirashi, which was above average, but not super. My partner had a Combination Plate with Salmon Teriyaki and Sushi, which she enjoyed. She had requested that the salmon be cooked "rare," and the kitchen delivered, with the teriyaki sauce on the side (as it should be). The sushi was solid but not spectacular - average-sized slices of fish (and cooked shrimp), and the sushi rice was ok. There are a few outdoor tables, but most dining in indoors with reasonably-spaced tables. We dined on Labor Day Monday at around 6:30, and did not have to wait. The staff was pleasant and helpful, and always wore masks. I would go to Sachi Sushi again if I wanted solid Japanese food (although it is a little on the expensive side for the area). But I think there are higher-quality Japanese restaurants around.

Very clean and friendly employees. Soup and salad taste great. Just the right serving size! Everything was perfect!!!

Amazing food and great service! This is our 3rd time eating in person here and we've ordered take out as well and it never disappoints. Food is fresh, full Of flavor and can't be beat for the price ! Everyone who works there is helpful for recommendations. We love this neighborhood sushi place! Thank you Sachi!

It was my first time experiencing an all-you-can-eat buffet in Dublin, and I have to say it left a great impression. We went for Sunday lunch, which was priced at $43.99, and I was pleasantly surprised that they included dinner menu items like steak and lobster (They are cooked fresh while you wait). While the lobster wasn't unlimited, you could add one lobster tail for $6, which I thought was a reasonable option. One of the highlights for me was the hotpot station--it was actually my first time ever seeing hotpot offered at an AYCE buffet, and it made the experience feel more unique and interactive. I also really appreciated the self-serve beverage machine, which made it super convenient to refill drinks whenever we wanted. On top of that, they had a selection of bottled drinks in the fridge, and even milk tea, which was a nice bonus you don't usually see at buffets. As for the food, there was a wide variety to choose from. I especially enjoyed the steak, which was flavorful and cooked well, along with the sushi and seafood options. They also had a good selection of Chinese dishes that complemented everything nicely. Overall, the variety and quality of the food made it feel like a great value for the price. It turned out to be a fun and memorable way to celebrate my brother's birthday. I really enjoyed the experience and would definitely come back again in the future.

Just stepping in lifts your spirit and creates joy. The thoughtful decor and beautiful design immediately stand out, creating a special atmosphere, even if you are simply meeting friends for lunch on a weekday. I never expected to find such a stunning restaurant tucked into a shopping strip in the heart of San Ramon. One Hour Bistro is truly a delightfull find. The same attention to detail reflected in the decor is also evident in the quality of the ingredients and the incredible flavors of each dish. Crystal glasses in a Thai restaurant? YES! They also offer mocktails which I wish I had time to try and savor. I ordered the Kao Soi Braised Short Ribs, and it was absolutely stunning; beautifully presented, generously portioned, and deeply comforting. The rich broth, tender bone-in ribs, and flavorful noodles made every bite memorable. I couldn't even finish the entire dish because I wanted to savore it slowly. The Pad See Ew was a silky, heavenly treat. The rice noodles were succulent, the vegetables were fresh, and everything was coated in a rich, flavorful sauce. If your driving through San Ramon, this is a MUST try. If you live in the area, lucky you!

Surprisingly this was one of the best dishes. The salad was mediocre as the flavors were not really Mediterranean and lacked flavor. The dressing is fine and there was salt which was nice but something else is missing. Quinoa seemed undercooked and not flavored well. Roasted garbanzos were not crunchy but tuff and hard and flavorless. The focaccia sides wasn't as buttery and flavorful with spices as before. The drink I ordered was nice but not exceptional, although I liked the rosemary smell / flavor, the drink just wasn't done well. More like a hard soda than a fancy beverage. The small ice cubes made this even more apparent. They were also out of the seafood sauce my wife wanted from her last meal so we had two other dishes and they were not impressive. We had to order multiple additional entrees since the dishes had also gotten much smaller in size compared to 6 months ago. The top it off, service was lacking. Alex at the bar was amazing the last time. We were with our children for Mother's Day today and we sat at the booth and our server wasn't horrible, but just wasn't any good. I know it was busy but she had time to be on her phone instead of providing better service kind of irked me. I wanted to give her some tips during our meal, but I hadn't brought cash with me, so my wife could enjoy her meal better. I made a comment about it being busy and all I got was one dismissive ha - no engagement. Kind of disappointed. Not sure what I was expecting but I guess more of Alex's energy and engagement and caring went a long way the last time and today's was missing. I didn't see Alex today at the bar. I hope she's still working here; otherwise, this place just isn't the same based on my experience today.
