I ordered flowers here as my sister always gets her bouquets here & raves about the quality of the flowers & the good pricing. I called in my order on Friday & asked to pick it up on Saturday morning at 9:30am right after they opened. When I arrived, the woman at the front counter seemed clueless about any order until she asked someone else. Then she came out with the bouquet (I ordered a mixed flower presentation bouquet, only high-end flowers i.e. no carnations etc., & clear cellophane wrap - for $60). The flowers were somewhat wilted & several of the roses had brown petals on them - when I pointed this out to the woman at the counter, she said - oh yeah, & just pulled off those petals. Overall, although it was not a bad bouquet, it was not anything I was impressed with or would order again. It seems to me that an inspection of the bouquet & all flowers before handing them off to the customer would be a good policy for them, so that they can remove any wilted/old petals before the client sees them. I scheduled a delivery for the 08/08 and they delivered it 08/01?? Makes no sense and completely defeated the purpose for the bouquet.

My daughter ordered a corsage for her senior prom. She told the staff what she did NOT want when it came to color. She received exactly what she didn't want. beautiful store, and goods are wonderful, the floral arrangements, etc. but the prices are outrageous. and think i have been overcharged more than once, spoke to a nice guy, he was going to make a display for 30 delivery 5 $ perfectly fair and in line. with other florists, i said i 'd think about it called back got a different person, she said "oh no!! 45.00 minimum " this has happened more than once. sick of being extorted by sacalis. those of us who remember original owners of these stores, like sa calis, and judickes, remember good quality at a fair prices. long gone, too bad . bayonne needs more bakeries and florists, no choices. read more

I order flowers on line for my aunts wake and they never showed up. I live in CA so could not be there for the service & then to find out my flowers didn't arrive:( How disappointing- Worse part about this experience was when I called to inquire about the delivery the girl who answered did not even say sorry! Nothing blamed it on the computer....Is it my fault that your computer didn't do it's job??? I even got an email confirmation with an order number..... I buy from this place and it's a step up from grocery store flowers but it's a little pricey (roses are $5 a pop). As with all florists, you'll get robbed for Valentine's Day. It'll actually be cheaper to do an Internet order of flowers for VD but you get the added bonus if supporting a local business and you get to pick up the flowers whenever you want, if that's important to you. read more

I needed flowers delivered fast today since I missed my best cousin's birthday yesterday. However I'm in Vegas and she's in Bayonne. I went online first thing this morning and Sacalis popped up as a florist in Bayonne. I recognized the name and took a chance with their online order form. I filled out the form, and to my surprise, the flowers arrived within an hour. Maybe less. They were reasonably priced and considering the delivery time, the delivery fee was cheap! I asked my cousin to send a photo since I like to be sure I get what I pay for online, and the flowers were perfect. Very pretty bouquet with a hand written note attached containing the message I supplied on line. I realize we are now a technologically savvy world, but I really didn't expect the flowers to be delivered so fast. I will definitely use them again. Thanks Sacalis. read more

I ordered flowers for a wake. My request was simple. I only wanted 2-3 different types of flowers. I got quite the opposite. It was a bunch of flowers that looked like they were picked from some garden. If this wasn't bad enough, when I got to the wake the flowers weren't even there! They were delivered to the wrong funeral home. The home was nice enough to track them down and have them delivered but what if I wasn't at the wake to notice? I never received a phone call from the florist apologizing or even an attempt at an explanation! The florist was made aware of the mix up by a family member so they can't use the excuse they didn't know. I will never order flowers from this florist again. read more

I ordered a plant basket for a wake/funeral. They had one already assembled for $140, which I thought seemed high. I requested a few sunflowers be added to the basket and was told they didn't have any. They made no attempt to get any sunflowers for me. They were over priced and not very accommodating.
