I came in with some friends, got some fish and provisions, some fried dumplings, okra, and we ate. The food is pretty good, but it cannot be compared to home cooking, yet it is still a great place to eat. Plus, they were on Uber Eats and I didn't feel like going out. Ordered my usual Jamaican dish - brown stew chicken with rice and peas and vegetables. Started out with the carrot cake - 10/10. Cake was moist, cream cheese icing was creamy and not too sweet, a good amount of carrots in the cake, a big portion sliced in half for sharing, and an affordable price. Brown stew chicken - 5/10. Ok flavor, but the chicken was kind of dry. I would have liked extra gravy but was unable to make that special request. Rice and peas - 10/10. Rice was good, nice hint of coconut milk, peas cooked perfectly. Veggies - 2/10. Bland AF. Everything except for the cabbage tastes like it came from a can. Plantain - 2/10. Bland, kinda dry. Would only order from here again for the carrot cake.

King Cajun is still an awesome spot for most things seafood, we've eaten most things...crawfish boils, sandwiches, platters, gumbos, etc. The inside has enough space and the service is fast enough that eating in is totally doable. They are good at accommodating big parties as well. On this visit my wife got a crawfish boil with shrimp, corn, potatoes, and sausage and added her favorite flavor sauce - SHABANG!!...it's pretty damn good...I got a shrimp po-boy and a small shrimp gumbo. Everything was just delicious! And I'll add that we love the bibs, gloves, and extra napkins! If you're wanting some New Orleans style boil or just some good seafood King Cajun is worth it.

This is a smallish, unassuming shop located in a strip-mall. There are about 6 tables available for dining in and some "bar" seating. I can tell this spot is very popular with the locals because during our visit, there was a steady stream of customers coming in to pick-up carry-out orders. We ordered a lot of food, so I had a Rum Punch while we waited. The menu warns that you just need one to feel it, and let me tell you, it puts the PUNCH in rum punch! Very strong, very potent. I ordered the Fried Catfish meal with collard greens and mac and cheese. I had Miss Pam's Sweet Tea as my drink. I was disappointed by the size of the catfish filets (3), because they were more like tenders, but the flavor and the fry on them was 10/10! The collard greens were cooked well and well-seasoned and the macaroni was super cheesy and creamy. My husband ordered the Pork Chop meal with the same two sides. He was concerned that they pork chop would be too thick, but based on the pictures we saw here, I told him that wouldn't be a problem. Unfortunately, it was quite the opposite. The pork chop was so thin, that once it was fried, it curled up and onto itself. We also ordered the 6 wing/5 shrimp meal, and because we asked for it to be packed and prepared for an hour of travel, they opted to fry them a little hard but that ultimately dried them out. It was an honest mistake and we appreciated them going the extra mile to ensure its freshness for when we got home. They used extra packaging to keep all of the sides from spilling into each other and we greatly appreciated that. I wasn't really a fan of the sweet tea. It was brewed strong and had a fruity note to it that I wasn't a fan of. The best bite of my entire 5-day trip was the Spicy Beef Patty. Oh, how I wish I'd gone all in on the beef patties! If I'm ever in the area again, I will order 5 and call it a day! I wanted to try some of the other flavors, but they were already sold out for the day. That's always a good sign!

It's also opened cracked and preseasoned for you so there's less work. The seasoning they use is wonderful and delicious and my son absolutely loves as well. We also really like that they have shrimp pasta and for only 8.99 that's a super deal. Their prices are good and very competitive. Not over priced at all. We usually get the largest combo which is corn potatoes shrimp snow crab blue crab and crawfish and that's around $54 dollars and it absolutely feeds more than 2 because me and my teenage son can't finish it all in one setting. I would definitely recommend and we will return.

The food did not taste like it was not fresh or anything. It was actually pretty good. The inside of the restaurant, however, is not a place you can sit and eat. It is just like a little place where you can wait for your food to be made but they don't have tables or anything. It's just some chairs to wait in. This is what I would call a hole in the wall for sure, but their food was pretty good. The only thing I did not like was the corn. It was so soaked up in the oil and seemed like it may have been at the bottom of the barrel because it was very hard and soaked with the oil so when I took a bite into the corn, not only could I barely bite into it but nothing but oil and like hard clumps came out of the corn. The corn had to be discarded. The potatoes were pretty good. They were nice and soft and only some of the crab legs were a little bit overcooked but we would probably come here again.
