Another great food truck choice for a company catered lunch! We figured having made fresh to order burgers/sando would be the best way to enjoy and kick off the summer of 2024. On a quarterly basis I plan for my company a food truck to come cater us lunch. Usually, I research and plan at least 1 month in advance before the event date. But this time around for Q2-2024 I didn't get to plan and book until the month of June. When I reached out to Sabroso, David the owner was very responsive & accommodating - even for our vegetarian requests. Portabella burger and veggie patty was available for them. As well adding on the side of "citrus slaw." We liked how our guests can make any burger/sando protein-style! On the day of the lunch event, all went smoothly. SMK came early to prep and we started serving lunch right on time from 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM. Food was served in a very timely manner and service was outstanding. "The Guac-Attack" was the most ordered burger for it ran out faster than "The Smokehouse Burger!" I only got to try the latter and it was delish. Love the tater tots but the citrus slaw was ok. My non-vegetarian colleagues thoroughly enjoyed their burger/sando choices. The vegetarians loved the veggie patty but wasn't too thrilled about the portabella burger - said it was too much portabella. Many got seconds! Great communication with the staff for they kept me posted on the lunch counts. Wrapping up and making the final payment was easy-peasy. Invoices was provided as well. Thank you SMK & David for coming out to serve my company and the employees an awesome lunch! read more

Jonathan and his team set up a pop up stand, and made delicious tacos for us; both chicken, carne asada and carnitas as well as portobello mushrooms. They had sides, salsas, all tasty! This was for a party for my work; everyone loved it. Very reasonable price! Thanks, Jonathan and Sabroso! read more

They were at our BSA Scout-o-Rama event, grabbed a tri-tip breakfast burrito and was pleased enough to see if Yelp had food truck review options. :) Burrito was large and tasty, the truck is clean, and the food was served hot and the service was quick! It's food truck ambiance, so I guess that plays more into where they're stationed that day. Oh! Ask for their salsa, it's quite good! :) read more

I had Sabroso Mobile Kitchen cater my parents anniversary party and they did a great job. The communication was great and the employees were all so nice. The wait time was about 10 mins, but they are there for a while so guests can order at their leisure. Food was great and I got good feedback from all the guests on how good the food was. Thanks guys for helping us make our event run smooth!! Would absolutely hire them again. read more

Our apartment complex brings out a food truck once a month, and tonight was Sabroso- and while all the trucks are delicious, today I downloaded the Yelp app and decided to leave my first ever review. I hade the Honey Chipotle Pulled Pork sandwich, and it was easily the best pulled pork sandwich I've eaten in my 32 years of existence on this planet. My girlfriend had the "Totchos" and took one look at the box and nearly started crying from the incredible amount of food. She's eating as I write this, absolutely loving it. And not only was the food delicious, but the service was fast, and incredibly friendly! 12/10! I will be letting our apartment complex to bring Sabroso back as soon as possible! read more

We can't put into words how amazing and perfect your team was at our wedding. The food was incredible- our guests can't stop telling us how much they enjoyed it and went back for seconds and thirds and fourths!!! Myself and my bridal party inhaled 3 huge platters of the apps and the girls all were blown away with how flavorful everything was (they were playfully fighting over the meatballs, the tri tip quesadilla and the bruschetta)!! Thank you for our giant plates of bride and groom special dinners- that meant so much to us and was so helpful to have those on our table right away to ensure we ate! Thank you for being so creative and so open with your menu creation. Our vegetarian guests were blown away with the jackfruit and it was so special for them to all enjoy your BBQ as well! Your positive and gracious energy was contagious and everyone had the best time enjoying your delicious food!! I will be sure to write you a glowing yelp review as well as recommendations to our loved ones - and please feel free to share any photos/videos on your social media! We will be sure to come see you again at the brewery and elsewhere. Please stay in touch with your local greater LA pop ups so we can come see you and send all our friends your way. Thank you from our entire hearts for being such a wonderful and special part of the best day of our lives, it was beyond epic!!!! read more

Everything we had here was bomb! Favorites were the tots (love the pickles and jalapeños on them) and their baked beans. Cheese to chicken ratio was a bit much on my melt and the fries were just ok, a little soft. But we enjoyed everything else read more

Excellent chipotle tri tip grilled cheese wow. At the Purina Dog Show on the beach in Huntington Beach

Top notch service and very delicious food. I found Sabroso Mobile Kitchen through a website for an event I hosted. Received a quote from them 2 weeks before my event and decided to go with them. Couldn't be happier with my choice. David was very accommodating of the change I needed to make the day before the event. I originally had informed them that the event was for 40 people. I ended up having at least 50 people and I told David the night before. He said no problem. Turns out, not only did 50 people show up, but a few people went back for seconds and he was able to cover those too! Food was SUPER delicious. Everybody was in love with the tri tip and the BBQ chicken legs. Mac & Cheese was a hit, too. And for those who don't eat meat, they have BBQ Jackfruit as an option as well. Sounds weird, but don't knock it until you try it. It was delicious! If you ever need a BBQ food truck service coming to your location with excellent service, give Sabroso Mobile Kitchen a go and you won't be disappointed. read more

Great Service! Great Food! I booked Sabroso for my dads 60th birthday party during a busy holiday season and he was still very reasonably priced! David was easy to communicate with and provided invoices in a timely manner to help budget our party. David even stayed at our party 45min longer at no cost because some of our guests arrived late. The food was delicious and there was a lot of food per plate! Our guest were so impressed with Sabroso! Thank you Sabroso, I look forward to booking you again next year! read more

Caught Sabroso! Mobile Kitchen at Alosta Brewing on a Friday night. Got the Tri Tip grilled cheese, and a regular "kids" grilled cheese. Prices were good and so were the portions. Cheese is run of the mill- probably big bulk blend from Costco or restaurant depot, nothing special whatsoever. But the grilled cheese itself was good. Buttery and cooked perfectly. Now the tri tip... that was fantastic. Perfectly cooked, tender, and flavorful. Will definitely try again for their meats alone!! read more

Not ordering from their menu but we had them cater for lunch at my work. Staff was super friendly and food came out fairly quick. I got their mac and cheese, citrus coleslaw, and bbq pulled pork. Their pulled pork was super flavorful but if you prefer extra sauce, don't be afraid to ask read more

David and his team are great to work with! They catered our corporate event and were extremely communicative, pleasant, helpful, and flexible. Once they arrived at our location, they made the process super easy and the food was served quickly. The Mexican cuisine they served was tasty and they provided a couple of vegetarian options and aguas frescas. Their set-up ran on a generator, so we didn't need to supply power during this outside event (very convenient). We are very pleased with the whole experience and would work with them again! read more

My hubs and I enjoyed the 4 ribs and 4 wings appetizer on the menu while enjoying beer at Bruery Terraux. Food service was quick and the food was amazing. A great deal for the value. We went with the regular BBQ sauce that still had a bit of bite but not so much that you can't taste the flavor of the meat. Smoking was well done, moist and amazing. Had the best meal with Sabroso Such unique combinations of flavors. I had the ribs and my wife had the pulled pork. I don't normally eat from food trucks or kitchens but we were hungry and so glad that we did. My wife didn't want to share with me but eventually we worked out a compromise. The team was working super hard and it was clear that they were working to put out a great meal. Hit these guys up next time you see them at an event. read more
