We had Nomada cater our wedding, and they were absolutely incredible from start to finish. The food was a huge hit! Our guests could not stop raving about the tacos and churros, and so many people went back for seconds (and thirds!). What really stood out to us was their attention to detail and level of care. Throughout the night, their team made sure Connor and I were taken care of. They actually found us to make sure we had food and drinks, which meant so much in the middle of such a busy day. We also worked closely with Laura during the planning process, and she was amazing! So responsive, organized, and genuinely great to work with. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we would absolutely recommend Nomada for any wedding or event! read more

Nomada catered our wedding in Yucca Valley last month and we were so happy with how everything turned out! At first, my parents couldn't see my vision for tacos at our wedding because it seemed too casual... But as soon as they saw the beautiful mobile kitchen, elegant set up and tried the food, they realized they were wrong! Nomada fit the vibe of our outdoor desert wedding perfectly. So many of our guests told us during the wedding how much they enjoyed the food and how they ate 10+ tacos because everything was just so tasty. Many guests commented on the shrimp tacos, homemade tortillas and various salsas they could choose from. In addition to the excellent food, every staff on duty during our wedding was kind and helpful. Highly recommend! read more

This is so long overdue, but THANK YOU NOMADA. When I say this team went above in beyond, they truly did. From initial email, to tasting, to wedding day, I felt like family every step of the way. Questions were answered timely. the options were laid out clearly. Laura even let me write paragraphs of over thinking and she'd respond thoughtfully. The pricing is phenomenal for the quality you get. Honestly, CHARGE MORE. Now my wedding day: what should've have been a gorgeous, sunny, California day was an entire monsoon. The Nomada staff on site adapted quickly, consistently had kind words and smiles on their faces. At one point, the staff assisted sweeping water out of the edges of the tent. Not their job and they jump in instantly! The food was out of this world. I was so happy with my selections. The tray service was consistent . I never wondered where an appetizer was because they were constantly walking around. The taco bar moved so quickly, getting my 80+ guests fed in 30 minutes. Everyone raved about the food and if they weren't so full, they probably would've gone for 3rds and 4th servings. I truly cannot say enough great things about Nomada. My only regret is not pulling out more cash to give them. THATS HOW GOOD THE SERVICE IS!! Stop looking for your caterer. You found them!! read more

We are so happy we chose Nomada Catering! We wanted something different from the typical wedding food -- something fun and true to that SoCal vibe -- and Nomada delivered perfectly. Andres was wonderful to work with, always responsive and accommodating to our requests. On the wedding day, everything was flawless -- the food was delicious and the service was outstanding. Our guests couldn't stop raving about the tacos, elote, agua fresca, and churros! The only feedback I'd offer is that it would be helpful if Nomada outlined what services, staff, and equipment are included with each service style (buffet, plated, family-style, etc.). There was a bit of confusion about this a few weeks before the wedding, but Andres was great about helping us sort it out. Nomada truly helped make our wedding day unforgettable, and we're so grateful to them for bringing our vision to life. read more

We used Nomada to cater our baby shower! It was my favorite part of the entire party. The food is absolutely delicious. Don't miss out on the beverages they offer either. Andres was great to work with from the start. Everything was straight forward to plan and they have lots of different package options and food options to choose from. I love the mobile cart/grill they use to cook and serve. It's really cute and fun looking. These guys are great and super friendly. Special shoutout to the handmade corn tortillas and the shrimp tacos! Thanks again Nomada :) read more

We reached out to try and book them for our wedding and received the worst customer service from Laura. If this is their customer service from day 1, I can only imagine how terrible they would be if we booked them for our wedding. We asked for info on per person pricing to compare the breakdown with other vendors and we were immediately shut down and told to go with the other vendors. We were quoted $133 per person for tacos. read more

We used Nomada for our wedding reception catering, and had an excellent experience throughout. We reached out for their catering menu and although enchilada's were not on there, Nomada was willing to make them for us. We were invited to a tasting which was very well laid out, and gave us the chance to try everything we were considering and more. The chef was also present and open to any adjustments we wanted to make. We customized some of the food to our taste, and went to a second tasting, where everything was exactly how we wanted it. On wedding day, the food was consistent and just as good. All of our guests raved about the food. It was definitely one of the highlights of the day. I also want to note the presentation of the food was so clean and classy. The staff was amazing, from the back end support with quotes to the day of service. I would 100% recommend Nomada for your event. I wish they had a sit down restaurant. Now I'm just waiting for the next opportunity to throw a big event where we can cater with them again. read more

If you're planning a wedding and wanting to do something truly AMAZING with your catering, then quit scrolling and reach out to NOMADA right now! If that one sentence doesn't pull you in, let us explain how everything went down for us! We reached out to NOMADA through email and had the absolute pleasure of working with Laura who was super professional, helpful, and always coming up with ways to make our event even better! We got to meet her and the NOMADA team in person at our tasting and it was WONDERFUL! They let us try everything (which we recommend going with an absolutely empty stomach because you're gonna want to try EVERYTHING)! We fell in love with all of the food (especially the Chilean Sea bass tacos--YUMMM!) and we were already tailoring what we would want for our wedding menu! After the tasting, we signed a contract that they really helped tailor towards our event and make sure that everything was covered (i.e. mobile kitchens, chips and salsa, servers, etc.). After that, we had to wait a few months until the event (just DREAMING of eating their delicious food) and all during that time, they answered all of our questions and made sure we felt taken care of! When it was finally time for our wedding... NOMADA WAS INCREDIBLE! So many of our guests told us they were some of the best tacos/food they have EVER had at a wedding before! They also couldn't stop talking about how nice and helpful the team of servers were! Overall, the whole team SMASHED IT out of the park in every sense and we truly couldn't have been more thankful to them! Overall, the food was delicious, the service was efficient and so personable, and all of their attention to detail throughout the whole planning process was unmatched. Our guests felt so taken care of and well fed as everyone went back for seconds (and possibly thirds)! They are worth every single penny! Now quit reading this long review and book them because they are the absolute best! :D read more

Nomada catered my intimate 40-person wedding and I couldn't be more pleased with their service. Everything from the planning to the execution was perfect and the food was delicious. Folks at the wedding who don't even like Mexican food were raving about it! 10/10 recommend for your next event! read more

Nomada brought their wonderful team to our wedding, and it was a huge delicious hit! It's one of the first things we kept hearing praise about. The fish taco was MY personal favorite, but everyone kept telling me how they loved the steak one, and my vegetarians were thoroughly pleased with the options, too (we picked the zucchini tacos as our favorite). The add-ons were so colorful and tasty--add them to your tacos for some gorgeously bright art pieces that also allow you to shove them into your face with delight.  Their team really just helped us all out, too--shout out to Andres for communicating throughout the year. They were lovely and professional. They even helped us out with cake and the champagne toast. Everyone left with a warm, full belly.  It's deliciousness all around. read more

"The best food we've ever had at a wedding."- several of our guests!!! Nomada was recommended to us, for our 125 person wedding, by our bar team, Nomad Cocktail Co. They had worked together many many times and had great things to say so when we got on a call with Andres we had very high hopes, and Nomada delivered on all of them. We first fell in love with all the options they provided, from passed apps to agua frescas to tacos, and the beautiful set up they have. Both of these things really set them apart from other taco catering teams out there. Andres was also so fun to work with and also incredibly flexible. He helped us to accommodate all of the dietary restrictions at our wedding- vegan, no mushroom, gluten free, no cilantro, kids- in ways that truly went above and beyond. Day of his team was incredibly professional and knocked out all of their hand pressed tacos so quickly. All of the food was very delicious, all the flavors and freshness were next level. We got so many compliments from our guests, even self proclaimed taco people who are tough to please! We especially loved the salsa bar, mushroom al pastor, Cesar salad & horchata. Thank you to Andres & the team, we cannot recommend them highly enough. read more

We hired Nomada for our wedding welcome party, and they were BEYOND FANTASTIC! Every single element from Nomada was absolutely perfect - not only is their food absolutely to die for, but they have the most beautiful design elements (extremely tastefully designed menus, the grill itself is stunning with a wood-cut front, etc.). We actually had guests come up and tell us that these were the BEST TACOS they had ever eaten (not just the best tacos they had at a wedding, the best tacos period). On top of everything, Laura and the team are so incredibly friendly and helped everything go so smoothly. We inquired to see if they could do a custom taco (korean Bulgogi tacos), and the team knocked it out of the park! They were incredibly accommodating, and we can't wait to work with them again in the future! read more

Nomada catered our daughters' co-ed bridal shower in May. They had attended another event where Nomada catered and had requested them to work at our event. The Mahi Mahi taco was incredible, as were the carne asada and chicken. Several guests asked Andres for the company's business card. Great presentation, wonderful unique salsas and an upscale and friendly approach to an afternoon taco fest. The servers were delightful, al the paperware was supplied and the extra food was carefully packed for us. We would be pleased to use Nomada again. read more

The food was fantastic, the presentation was lovely, the servers were professional and polite. Left overs were packed away properly and everything was cleaned up after the party, I didn't have to lift a finger. All my guest raved about the food. I will use Nomada again!! Thank you! read more

Simply the best! Delicious food, síempre! Family-run & owned with a superb eclectic staff that always has a smile! Try everything!

We partnered with Nomada to cater our wedding and it was the best vendor decision we made! Laura and the team came in and worked with us on a perfect menu, price point, set up, and even hosted us for a very delicious and generous tasting to set the menu. I HIGHLY suggest you don't skip the Shrimp tacos with handmade tortillas - some of the best I've ever had in my LIFE. Nomada's set up is beautiful, classy, gourmet, organic, and just added an upscale beautiful vibe to the food at our wedding - we wanted something casual and we were able to have both that but also have it memorable and classy. The entire family was friendly, warm, and so happy to work with us. We can't wait to eat Nomada again soon!! read more

I have been able to taste Nomada's food at a few different events that I have worked at, and every time the food is exceptional and delicious. They offer a wide range of proteins, and every single one is so tasty. Their homemade fresh cooked tortillas are out of this world, and the sides that they offer are incredibly fresh and seasoned so well. And it doesn't help that this is a family run business who truly cares about the food they produce. I recommend this catering company to all of my clients that are holding events and weddings. read more

Got to try their delicious food as they catered at an event I was attending. First noticed their really nice set up, you can tell it was gonna be quality. Loved the hot fresh food being made in front of me. Got to enjoy some shrimp tacos, the al pastor looked amazing too but was full. Love their salsa bar and how you dress your own tacos. Fancy tacos for the win, recommend!!!! The staff was friendly as well!!! read more

First off - they were available despite my late request. Laura, who was my contact was prompt and wonderful. She was also thoughtful in assisting with my menu selections. The site team, Javier and Brandon, were exactly on time. They were super efficient in set up and even made the best of the limited space in my tiny backyard. The food was absolutely fabulous! They walked around and distributed delicious passes apps! The aqua chili was super fresh and really good. They had substantial vegan options, too. Javier and Brandon even let me experiment with the ingredients and made a super taco. They were equally as efficient and clean tearing down. I wish I had taken some pictures. Their grill and service station is really pretty. It is a top notch operation and you won't be disappointed!!! read more

We hired Nomada for our Wedding in Malibu. Our goal was to be able to offer our guests tacos that everyone would love while also keeping presentation and feeling elevated for a formal event. Nomada is the perfect option for anyone looking to do the same. Andres is wonderful to work with and was a great partner to us throughout the 1+ year of planning. Our guests are STILL talking about how delicious AND beautiful the food was. The staff were absolutely lovely to us and worked so hard to make sure our day was perfect. We will be Nomada fans for LIFE and look forward to booking them again for upcoming special events. Christopher + Daniela Scott read more

I had the chance to try Nomada at a small event they were catering and I gotta say they've got some of the best tacos I've had. I tried their mushroom, carne asada, shrimp, and fish tacos. 10/10! Great salsas as well. The food was authentic, ingredients were quality, and presentation was stunning. Aside from the food, the experience I had with Nomada was amazing. You take a look all of their setup and you really see that they're elevating the food and catering world. Everybody was fun and professional. The price point is a little higher than most places you'd come across, but I say it's worth investing a little extra in experiences you'd never forget. Can't wait to have them cater any future events! read more

I recently had the pleasure of working with the Nomada team at a wedding in Malibu and it was such a pleasure. As a wedding coordinator, you come into contact with many different catering and service teams and they're so crucial and usually the most important part of the wedding day. The Nomada team was incredible, anticipating my needs, on the timeline all day, constantly checking in on what needed to be done and this isn't even talking about the food. So SO delicious and the presentation was so elevated. Looking forward to working with them again! read more

Loved every experience with Nomada. Had the opportunity to try multiple things from their extensive menu and have always been happy. If you're looking to wow guest as a party host, then hiring this taco cart/mobile kitchen is the way to do it. I was recommended to these guys through an event coordinator friend and could not have been happier with the end result: * Cart experience was beautiful/elegant/next level * High quality ingredients and meats. * Charismatic chefs/cooks. The price point is a little higher than some, but when its all set and done - you'll be happy you invested a little more on yourself for a great experience. Make those memories! read more

We are so grateful for Nomada and their staff. Their upscale modern taco kitchen was the perfect look for our wedding reception party hosted at our home. The food....must I say...OMG!! It was so delicious all of our guests raved about the fresh handmade tortillas and the meats and sauces were unique and amazing. To top it off our Nomada chefs, Javier and Hailie, cleaned up and packed us left overs which we got to enjoy all week. The chefs were professional and polite and seemed to truly be enjoying their jobs. Nomada made hosting our event so easy for us. We have already booked them again for a corporate Christmas party. WOW!! It almost feels wrong to call this a "taco cart" because they are so much more than a taco cart - Nomada is an experience! They catered our little party of 17 at a private home and made us feel like we were being served straight from the kitchen of a five star restaurant. The tacos, salsas and even their passion fruit cheese cake were all mouth watering. My family has used a lot of Taco carts for parties in the past, but none have provided us with this level of taste or refinement. Chef Javier is a culinary magician... You have never tasted food like his before, and their entire team and staff is professional, kind, friendly and truly passionate about what they do. As a planner in Los Angeles, taco catering options are plenty. However, high end, modern, and beautiful presentation are not. Nomada has you covered. I am very selective on who I choose to cater my events. From the initial onset of coming into contact with Nomada, they were professional, kind, fast to reply, and most importantly did a fantastic job at catering our event. The presentation, food quality, and overall experience were excellent. Modern and clean look, flavorful and beautiful food and presentation, arrived on time, and worked hard, with smiles on their faces at all times! They were clean and did an excellent job! I am so glad that we used Nomada for our event. I would consider this a high end, high quality catering company. Andres and his partner were so personable & professional. The handmade tortillas were delicious. They came to serve 80 guests and everyone went back for seconds! My only regret is that we had no leftovers to eat the next day!! I got married in the desert a few weeks ago and had Nomada as our caterer for apps, dinner and dessert. Not only has Andres (owner) been extremely communicative and lovely, but his food is absolutely incredible. We had tuna tartar, ceviche and meatballs for appetizers. They were so flavorful and cute and the guests LOVED them. For dinner we had 4 different types of proteins for tacos and they were so tasty and they were cooked in front of you, with even a person hand pressing tortillas as well. The shrimp tacos were my absolute favorite, the salsas as well were so vibrant and delicious. We opted out of doing a traditional wedding cake and cutting and just had Nomada do our desserts, fresh churros, chocolate covered strawberries and a cheesecake. We loved every bit of it. I highly recommend doing a dessert table instead of a cake cutting! I will absolutely be hiring Nomada again in the future for any catered event. They were the best! So sweet, and they really know how to cook. We cannot thank you enough! read more
