This is so long overdue, but THANK YOU NOMADA. When I say this team went above in beyond, they truly did. From initial email, to tasting, to wedding day, I felt like family every step of the way. Questions were answered timely. the options were laid out clearly. Laura even let me write paragraphs of over thinking and she'd respond thoughtfully. The pricing is phenomenal for the quality you get. Honestly, CHARGE MORE. Now my wedding day: what should've have been a gorgeous, sunny, California day was an entire monsoon. The Nomada staff on site adapted quickly, consistently had kind words and smiles on their faces. At one point, the staff assisted sweeping water out of the edges of the tent. Not their job and they jump in instantly! The food was out of this world. I was so happy with my selections. The tray service was consistent . I never wondered where an appetizer was because they were constantly walking around. The taco bar moved so quickly, getting my 80+ guests fed in 30 minutes. Everyone raved about the food and if they weren't so full, they probably would've gone for 3rds and 4th servings. I truly cannot say enough great things about Nomada. We reached out to try and book them for our wedding and received the worst customer service from Laura. If this is their customer service from day 1, I can only imagine how terrible they would be if we booked them for our wedding. We asked for info on per person pricing to compare the breakdown with other vendors and we were immediately shut down and told to go with the other vendors. We used Nomada for our wedding reception catering, and had an excellent experience throughout. We reached out for their catering menu and although enchilada's were not on there, Nomada was willing to make them for us. We were invited to a tasting which was very well laid out, and gave us the chance to try everything we were considering and more. The chef was also present and open to any adjustments we wanted to make. We customized some of the food to our taste, and went to a second tasting, where everything was exactly how we wanted it. On wedding day, the food was consistent and just as good. All of our guests raved about the food. It was definitely one of the highlights of the day. I also want to note the presentation of the food was so clean and classy. The staff was amazing, from the back end support with quotes to the day of service. We reached out to NOMADA through email and had the absolute pleasure of working with Laura who was super professional, helpful, and always coming up with ways to make our event even better! We got to meet her and the NOMADA team in person at our tasting and it was WONDERFUL! They let us try everything (which we recommend going with an absolutely empty stomach because you're gonna want to try EVERYTHING)! We fell in love with all of the food (especially the Chilean Sea bass tacos--YUMMM!) and we were already tailoring what we would want for our wedding menu! After the tasting, we signed a contract that they really helped tailor towards our event and make sure that everything was covered (i.e. mobile kitchens, chips and salsa, servers, etc.). After that, we had to wait a few months until the event (just DREAMING of eating their delicious food) and all during that time, they answered all of our questions and made sure we felt taken care of! When it was finally time for our wedding... NOMADA WAS INCREDIBLE! So many of our guests told us they were some of the best tacos/food they have EVER had at a wedding before! They also couldn't stop talking about how nice and helpful the team of servers were! Overall, the whole team SMASHED IT out of the park in every sense and we truly couldn't have been more thankful to them! The fish taco was MY personal favorite, but everyone kept telling me how they loved the steak one, and my vegetarians were thoroughly pleased with the options, too (we picked the zucchini tacos as our favorite). "The best food we've ever had at a wedding."- several of our guests!!! Nomada was recommended to us, for our 125 person wedding, by our bar team, Nomad Cocktail Co. They had worked together many many times and had great things to say so when we got on a call with Andres we had very high hopes, and Nomada delivered on all of them. I had nomada last Saturday at a wedding in Palm Springs. Just wow. I loved their cart! I have never seen anything like it. The cart was made with stone and wood. I got married in the desert a few weeks ago and had Nomada as our caterer for apps, dinner and dessert. Not only has Andres (owner) been extremely communicative and lovely, but his food is absolutely incredible. We had tuna tartar, ceviche and meatballs for appetizers. They were so flavorful and cute and the guests LOVED them. For dinner we had 4 different types of proteins for tacos and they were so tasty and they were cooked in front of you, with even a person hand pressing tortillas as well. The shrimp tacos were my absolute favorite, the salsas as well were so vibrant and delicious. We opted out of doing a traditional wedding cake and cutting and just had Nomada do our desserts, fresh churros, chocolate covered strawberries and a cheesecake. We loved every bit of it.
