That market is Japanese focused, with an insane variety of items. I love how everything is packaged and labeled so nicely. While some may find it pricey, one must understand they are imported things. I feel the hot and cold bar offers a great deal, and it's certainly hard to get any dish/even a lunch takeaway platter for under $15. The thing I love about these types of stores - everything is so nicely thought of and prepared for you - much like it is Japan. There's soy sauce, ginger, wasabi, chopsticks, and a microwave at the exit of the store - everything you would need to grab for a quick takeway lunch. They have sushi/chirashi, ramen and udon bowls, teppanyaki, katsu, mochi, cream sandwiches, Beer and sake, you name it. Sushi - amazing quality, fresh, and great price for a market. The sushi rice did feel a bit more sticky and on the sweet side, but a great value indeed. Potato cutlet - Outside was crispy, inside pillowy soft, good taste, not salty. Great with katsu sauce Tempura - Delicious considering it was the last of the day and we came late, so the hto bar was already wrapped up for the day Spicy chicken katsu bowl - What a deal and it was still tasty 2 days later! Next time, need to eat it fresh. Their selection of wagyu, jidori, all the fresh raw meat appear to be very high qualty and at a decent price. Usually you get either "interesting selection" or "good prices," not both. Jordan's on my regular rotation grocery run rotation now. The cake sweetness is just right and flavorful, light and not as sweet as American style cakes. Very moist and delicious. The passion fruit Ice tea was quite satisfying, full flavor and not too sweet or sour. My friend did like his tiramisu. 4 of us shared the cake and quite plenty. It's only $18. Everything is quite inexpensive for the quality and taste. Now I know where to get my desserts after dinner while I go out to dinner anywhere because 85 seems to be everywhere.
