I came to Bienvenidos a Sabrosada Mexican Food looking for a good burrito under $10, so I'll admit I was a little disappointed when the total for the chili verde burrito came out to around $15 after tax. But wow--was it worth it. When it arrived, I was honestly shocked. This thing was massive--the biggest burrito I've ever seen. My plan was to eat half for lunch and save the rest for dinner. Then I took the first bite... and all plans went out the window. It was hot, perfectly seasoned, packed with tender meat, and bursting with flavor. Hands down the best chili verde I've ever had. The specialty salsas took it over the top--they were fresh, balanced, and addicting. I ended up finishing the entire burrito in one sitting and didn't regret a thing. My kids love the bean & cheese burrito kids meals with fries and a drink (kids can even get the agua fresca with their kids meal) I like the carnitas mini tacos and their new Birria tacos with the dipping broth. This is a review for catering Was extremely disappointed in the quality and the service. We ordered the small party pack and we did not receive the rice and beans. It was too far of a drive to go back and when we called they said they didn't make the rice and beans and it had been forgotten in the order. They didn't offer to resolve or give a refund until I asked. Our meats were cold. We did pick up later than our time slot but it wasn't even slightly warm. I have a super picky grandmother and they were happy to make substitutions and additions. The food is rich and well seasoned. The portions are very large for the price. It's our first time ordering from here and will say this may be our go-to late night Mexican food place now! Open 24/7! Can't beat that. We ordered the Carne Asada Nachos and it did not disappoint. Very impressed that the chips were still crunchy by the time we got home. The food was warm in the right places. The tomatoes were fresh. The Carne Asada was cooked with right an out of tenderness. Bought cali burritos to go. When I got home I noticed they were made wrong. I called to let them know of the mistake. Easy fix right? Well nope. Guy who answered the phone was supper argumentative went back and forth for at least 30 minutes, until he finally agreed they messed up. Told me I could go pick up my burritos later in the day. When I called to let them know I was on my way I got another ma on the phone who was as incompetent as the guy who I spoke to in the morning. Horrible customer service! Food is way overpriced! The shredded beef taco was delicious. The cheese enchilada, not so much. First of all, I asked for extra cheese and they charged me about 1/2 again for the cheese and I really didn't like the taste or texture (a friend recommended the cheese enchilada, won't do that again). After two trips while it's worth the money in some cases for example the fries the burritos at least what I've been tried have been a mixed bag. For the prices this place is aight but portions for value is not so good. I dont really like that the tortillas for mine have come cold at points and that the meat and salsa almost tastes burnt at points. WOW! Incredible food at a crazy low price and quick service. I wish that there were more high quality drive thrus. The interior is a little divey but the people are really friendly and the sheer amount of food for the price is crazy. Would expect this kind of service, quality and speed from a hole-in-the-wall sit down restaurant, but it's amazing that they are able to do this with a drive-thru and restaurant. For the fries I like to mix a little bit of the red and green sauce together and pour it on top. I leave very few negative reviews as I feel strongly about promoting local businesses. My intent in posting this is to provides constructive criticism. We visited this fast food and the prices were much more comparable to a sit down restaurant, high priced but we decided to try it out. We ordered special burrito w chips and drink for 12.99, 1 chicken taco and 1 carne asado taco (not a combination plate) the total came to $27.00 When the food came the portion size was enormous, I better understood why their prices were so high. In my opinion this is an example of "bigger is not better" my tacos were huge, unable to pick up and eat as you would expect. I used a fork but there was too much food wasted. The carnemasada was good but chicken was disappointing. My husband burrito was definitely a super burrito which again too much foid wasted. My suggestion would be to look at your portion sizes.
