The customer service was great and very helpful as this was our first time here. The drinks were quite refreshing! Now..if you miss the tamago sandwiches you get in Japan, then you must check out Brio Brio! The sandwiches are so thick and look at how hefty the sandwiches were?! The banh mi consisted of jidori chicken breast with cabbage, carrot, cilantro, radish, fried onion, sesame oil, and some kind of aoli dressing. It reminds me the asian chicken salad from stone oven but in a sandwich, which is a good thing cause I miss stone oven and their asian chicken salad! I will definitely be back because I want to check out their other sandos, drinks, and the baked goods! What I also love about this place is that they also sell goods in the middle of the place, I love supporting small businesses!

Inside was decorated really nice, the ambiance was cute and everything was very clean. The service was great, we were unsure on the drink so the cashier made a good recommendation. The pesto chicken sando is what we came for and I was not a total fan of it. I think I was expecting more of a burst of flavor, but it truly tasted how it sounds - chicken with pesto and arugula. The star of the sandwich was the marinated tomatoes, these were fantastic, I wish there were more tomatoes and slightly less chicken to get a more even ratio going. For the price point, I wouldn't get this again. All in all, the sandwich wasn't bad, it was just as expected. Will have to check out the egg salad sando and the beef sando next time, they looked great! The prime beef curry bread was delicious, very tender chunks of beef and the curry had a slight spice. Really good panko crusted bread. Would get this again! The honey toast was great as well, it tasted almost like a custard on top. Had a nice crust and fluffy interior. The Goma matcha latte was not my favorite, it was very Goma forward and I couldn't really taste the matcha. Additionally, it was a little clumpy so when you would sip it you would get a clump of Goma. If I came back, I would likely stick to the pastries as they were standard priced and pretty big for that price. The sandos, I may or may not try again, they were all around $16+ and were stuffed, but still on the small size. I am glad I tried it!

The ambience is what you'd expect with a lot of old pictures on the walls. The last time we went was Monday and it was so busy I couldn't believe it. There was actually about a 40 minute wait to sit down for a party at four. Parties of two were able to sit down a little quicker because they have lots of two tops. I've only ordered breakfast, although they have plenty of sandwiches and salads. I saw a stack of onion rings piled high that looked pretty tasty. The menu has a wide variety that will satisfy just about anybody.

The place was fairly full but I found a seat at a counter. The Spanish latte was superb with smooth coffee and cinnamon flavors that blended for a perfectly balanced profile. I appreciated it was at an immediately drinkable temperature. The muffin was really, really good. Really. It was moist, fresh, and full of blueberries and a layer of blueberry jam. The big cookie was quite good, although in all honesty I've had better in this genre. I didn't stay long as there was some annoying guy who'd set up office at a table with his AirPods firmly inserted and loudly giving legal advice in an obnoxious manner that is typical of ambulance-chaser lawyers. Why do coffee shops put up with this?

This is the 3rd Chaupain location I've been to, I happened to be in the area. It's smaller than the one on La Paz in LN to be sure, but ample size enough to provide anyone with full tastes of their amazing goods. I like everything - I've tried nearly all of their pastries and cakes, this time I tried the cinnamon roll- which was insanely good, soft, and tasted of such quality. Actually - never tried their quiche, which is certainly on a bucket list for next time. I highly recommend everything they have - but just to name a new, the guava cream cheese, cinnamon cream cheese, mixed berry bateau, opera cake, vanilla scone, any of their croissants, lemon tiramisu, and the jamon sandwich is incredible - I love that the bread had a chewy texture, which is perfect for this sandwich. Adding any of the American condiments would almost be a sacrilege, but a bit of dijon is good, which they have there in packets- the flavours work so well together. I really struggle to restrain myself when coming here, which necessary for your wallet and your waistline - but whatever you decided it's all good here.
