My girls and I decided to drop in on a whim. We had a phenomenal time. If you're looking for the perfect spot for your next girls' day out, this is it. It's a quaint, quiet little shop that invites you to sit, linger, and enjoy the atmosphere. When I walked in, I was immediately excited to see they carried Dubai Strawberries (my absolute favorite!). While I didn't grab them this time, I'll definitely be back for them. I opted for the Pistachio Cream Croissant, which was calling my name the second I walked through the door. It took a little bit of time to arrive, but it was absolutely worth the wait. I suspect they might have even baked it to order! It was the perfect sweet treat without being overly sugary, which is a massive plus in my book. The pistachio flavor was spot on. It was incredibly rich, nuanced, and tasted completely authentic. I paired it with the Hibiscus Tea, which was, quite literally, something made of dreams. Again, it had that perfect balance. It has just enough sweetness to elevate the drink without overpowering it. You can really taste the true, floral notes of the hibiscus. Beyond the stellar food, the vibe is just right. We saw several other groups come in and settle into the space to enjoy their treats, making it a great place to catch up with friends. I'm already planning my next trip back, and mark my words. I will be getting that delicious-looking saffron cake next time! If you're a fan of high-quality desserts that prioritize flavor over excessive sugar, you need to add Rose Valley Sweets to your list. #RoseValleySweets #AtlantaEats #DessertLover #PistachioCroissant #HiddenGem #GirlsDayOut #FoodieFinds #AshSaidIt #SweetTreats #AtlantaFoodScene #ashsaidit #johnscreek #ashsaiditshow

We had an assortment of falafels, spring rolls, baklava, potato salad, and a really nice rose tea served with rock candy. I also ordered an avocado and egg sandwich on the side, but just keep in mind that anything ordered outside of the high tea is an additional cost on top of the set price. The high tea also requires a deposit of half of the total amount in advance. Overall it is definitely worth the experience, and the menu rotates regularly so it is something fun to come back and try again. The owners were also really kind and accommodating, which made the visit even better. My only suggestion would be to add more caffeine free tea options. I was told by one of the staff that all of the teas contain a small amount of caffeine, including the rose tea.

There's no formal dress code, so some tables were fully dressed in fancy outfits celebrating birthdays. While other tables were in sweatshirts and jeans. So just wear whatever you want. The small appetizer plate they bring out is good, I ate the flat bread with a hummus I ordered. The hummus is solid but I'd probably try a different dip the next time. I ordered the Salmon kebab plate. I was asked how I wanted my salmon cooked, and I said well-done. But how they cooked it was amazing! The salmon was fully cooked but still flaky and tender, and juicy. I found it flavorful enough, but there is a salt and pepper grinder on the table if you need it. It comes with a roasted tomato and a huge mound of saffron rice. I liked the rice a lot but it is a bit plain. If you want a more flavorful or interesting rice, you can add a different rice for $4. Those extra charge ones come with a lot more toppings like different nuts, herbs, or dried fruits. I'd like to try more different dishes next time, but what I was very satisfied by what I ordered. We had 4 adults and one 3 year old. We got out for something in the neighborhood of of $240. Ordering is ala carte: we had 3 meats, 3 sides, drinks. We had a very small bit left over. Decor was excellent. A beautiful entryway, muted lighting, muted noise. Service was attentive, friendly, and very helpful. While I'd love to return regularly, price makes that impossible, but it was definitely worth this visit. It will be up for consideration next time we have something big to celebrate.

When we arrived, there was a bit of congestion at the front, and we had to wait for maybe 5 minutes before we were seated. Once we were sat, everything else was smooth sailing. Our server was very nice, and she took great care of the 6 of us! Rumi's is a nice place. High ceilings and mood lighting. Good food paired with great company. We started with the mirza ghasemi. It was nice and tomatoey with the smokiness from the eggplant coming through. I wouldn't say I liked it more than another place's though. The presentation of the food is pretty simple, but that does not detract from the taste. This is especially so with the chicken barg, which I found to be tender and filling, and the tomato with it was very juicy. I only wanted to order it because I saw that it was very popular here. Perhaps I should've went with the barg kabob since another friend swears by it and orders it every time. We ended with baklava, and wow! There was more filling than I normally get elsewhere, plus it was surprisingly not dry either. The filling really held itself well. There didn't seem to be much syrup on the plate, but the bottom layer did not disappoint either. It was hard to cut through as it soaked up all the sweetness. Altogether a delicious dessert. Probably near the top of the baklavas I've had. Also, if you get one of Rumi's sodas, like the peach soda, don't let it sit for too long. The lime and ice will dilute the flavor of the drink until all you can really taste is carbonated lime at the end. Whoops.
