Today was the day. The first thing I noticed was the size of the dining room. It was roomy with several tables that were appropriately spread out. The decor is attractive with eye catching art painted on the white walls. The tables all have a splash of color on them, as well. Altogether is creates a bright and cheery atmosphere. There was a lady and her son at another table. I listened as they ordered in Spanish. They asked almost the same questions as we did, so being fluent in Spanish must not mean you would understand the Colombia specific food vocabulary. As we were paying our bill, the lady was pointing to everything on her plate asking "What is this?" in Spanish. I found that a little humorous, as the explanations when ordering were pretty good. My son and I had not problems recognizing the foods on our plate based on what we had heard. On our way home, we passed by the Bandera location. My son pointed it out to me. I don't remember ever seeing it there, but my son says he knew about it. That made me wonder why we frequented the competitor on Tezel where we like the food, but felt uncomfortable being packed in so close in the tiny dining room.
