I love this bakery. It feels like my childhood and so nostalgic eating the Mexican pastries that my mom loved. The selection is huge and they have everything from polvorones cookies to huge cinnamon rolls. They offer refrigerated pastries like tres leches, etc. I like the service, you get a server who uses a small basket and they walk along the cases as you make your selection. They package it all up in a bakery box for you. They also have a restaurant here that I have not tried. The vibe feels trendy and modern with a Mexican twist. read more

Absolutely incredible food. Breakfast tacos were delicious. The sopes had amazing flavor! Chicharrones were amazing with just the right amount of spice, and the carnitas and barbacoa were full of flavor, too! The sopes were solid but NOT too crunchy and held together very well. Masa flavor was perfect. Service was attentive and polite, and the wait for food was not long for fresh and homemade. Ambiance was perfect for a sit in brunch and the overall establishment is clean very clean and organized. We will definitely be back again next time we are in town! read more

This was my first time trying this restaurant and my friends wanted to see what it was all about. I ordered a lunch plate and a chorizo and egg taco. Everything that I had was super good and loved the taco. Their service was super fast. We did not wait very long until we got our plate and they have quite a bit of seating inside. New "bakery" that recently opened in Buda. Went early one morning to grab some pan dulce but discovered that this bakery is actually a full blown bakery and restaurant. Knowing that, my inner marrano not only picked up pan dulce but also some tacos. Tacos were good and made with their own home made corn and flour tortillas. The pan dulce was definitely some of the better pan dulce in the area. It was fresh, soft and pretty good size. Want to go back one of these days to check out the rest of the restaurant menu as it looked pretty good and I'm a sucker for home made tortillas. read more

Staff was pretty nice, but mood changed when I didn't add tip for my $3 total items, for reference I didn't sit and eat. Maybe need to get there right when they open? Phenomenal real Mexican food in Kyle. I tried the chilaquiles verdes and was blown away. I also had their sopes which were equally delicious. The kids had pozole which was also amazing and my wife had their huevos en salsa and that was so good too. While here, we purchased many yummy pan dulce items which were plentiful here. Avoid this place. The pan dulce tastes like rubber and they all have a weird aftertaste. Rude customer service and the place has a weird smell to it, and it's brand new, so I'm not sure why. UPDATE: Owner also leaves a rude response to any negative review instead of offering to fix it. Negative comments are also deleted from their social media accounts. The bakery has some great choices for pastries, the owner, workers, and baker are wonderful people. They are welcoming and very friendly. The little restaurant inside is nice, the food is just delicious. The little cheese and chips are delicious. The cappuccino was wonderful, the horchata is where is the wonder you could tell where it is hand made, and the pozole is delicious. Waited for 20 minutes thinking someone will help us. But the lady working didn't acknowledge us. She was busy talking to her friends that where visiting the shop. My sisters and I have been wanting to try this place since it opened in Kyle. Today we arrived at 11:30 trying to beat the church crowd, when we arrived we were seated right away but it took the waitress 10 minutes to acknowledge us to take a drink order! Right off the bat I knew it would be bad service based on her attitude and sour face. But we stayed anyway and 20 minutes later she came back to take our order, again with absolutely no customer service skills what so ever! After almost an hour from start to finish we got up and left after my sister asked for more ice, lemons and napkins for the second time. She acted as if she asked for a blood transfusion! Never got our food! I threw $5 on the table and said out loud to the hostess how horrible the service was and walked out! Too bad for this place I've lived in Kyle my whole life and I will tell anyone that will listen NOT to go to this place. There are way too many places in Kyle with great food and way better service! First time going today. The pastries looked good but looks can be deceiving. Got about 15 different items. The pastries were hard and it left an awful after taste. We have put an order a week in advance and when I get there to pick it up they told me is was 3 hours delay and that they couldn't do anything about it.
