I had an ungrounded bass amplifier that blew my cab when I switched polarity to stop it from…read moreelectrocuting me, and our guitarist had a recently purchased used Fender Twin that was acting up. Cove serviced the Fender twice, only charging for parts the second time, and fixed up my head (redoing old connections, replacing some switches that were worn out, reconnecting equalizers that didn't work, and put in an internal ground) all for under $100. He also advised me on the best approach for fixing my cabinet. The current had fried the speaker cones beyond repair and he suggested some options for replacement. All told this took about a week to complete and cost much less than it would to replace the cabinet. Bonus points for his knowledge on all things related to vintage amps. If you're interested (and probably if you're not) you can get a history lesson on tube manufacturers. Maybe this is a symptom of newer musicians' obsession with tube amplifiers and lack of knowledge about caring for them, but he also went into great detail about how to keep things functioning.

I built it myself 7 years ago, so I usually handle maintenance myself, but I couldn't get it to turn on at home, and I didnt want to make things worse, so I found Joe's online and gave a call. Turns out my computer was fine. The first time Zack plugged it in at Joe's, it booted up no issue. Despite the relative ease of the fix, Zack was very cordial when I called, and at the store he was naming parts in my custom rig before I even pointed them out. He even offered to hit my PC with the air compressor at no charge (well, at the expense of the clean countertops,; I'm embarrassed to admit I had not dusted my PC in years). I love a local business that knows their stuff. I'll be coming back in the future if I have any other issues beyond me.

I recently had my PS5 here. The staff was fanatastic. The repair tech that fixed my PS5 was very…read moreknowledgable. I brought in the unit at 4pm on a Saturday and it was repaired in an hour. Their prices were lower than other places. They were efficient, knowlegable, affordable and pleasant to work with and I would recommend them 100%. The service I had them do was fix the HDMI port and clean the inside of the unit (which I didn't realize collected so much debris over the years) The unti is now working fabulously.
